So every once in a while (probably every one or two weeks) I'll be posting a new contest for random writing prompts!

If you just like writing and you want a follow from me, then try this out! It's not super super exciting, I think it's just fun.

I recommend you add this book to your library or reading list so that you can see when I post a new contest, however it's not required.

Once I've received your entry in any form, I'll add your username to the entries list.

Prizes

1st place:

•possibly more depending on the origin of the contest... (credit in a description, a chapter dedication, etc.)

How to Enter

Follow these steps CAREFULLY otherwise your entry might be missed!

1) Write your piece either into the comments section OR a chapter of an entries book you already have
2) Create a new book (or use an entries book you already have. But make sure to REtag me for each contest)
3) Tag me in your chapter (if my name is NOT highlighted grey, that means I cannot see your entry!)
4) Tell me which contest the piece is entered under
5) Wait a reasonable amount of time to see if I add your username to the entries list, signifying that I received your entry
6) A submission in the comments is fine though!
7) Wait for results

I'll then see the chapter and your entry and I'll add your name to the entry list

If you're entering by comments then I think it's pretty straightforward.

And then I'll be able to see your entry and I'll add your name to the list.

Rules

-You can enter a maximum of 3 pieces per contest
-If you win a contest, you're still welcome back for the next one
-Do not steal other people's work
-Make sure to listen carefully to the guidelines of each contest, otherwise it may be disqualified!
-If you enter wrong, IT WILL NOT BE RECOGNIZED
-I will not accept entries after the due date (however I plan on doing contests frequently so you shouldn't have to wait too long before you can enter the next one)
-your entry must be 2000 words or less for EVERY contest (as that's the comment limit so it's not fair if it's longer for those entering it through a book chapter)
