Dream, Sapnap and Eret entered the base again, this time the base wasn't as ominous as two of them had already been there. All three of them had netherite armor and weapons, golden apples and some splash weakness and splash slowness potions. The group entered the Egg cavern to see that the vines had almost completely covered the entire room. As they looked around, they heard a familiar voice from behind them. "Oh! Hello friends! Have you come to visit the Egg?" The trio turned around to see Ant, Puffy, Ponk and Punz all standing behind them, all of them with netherite armor and weapons. Ant's usually blue eyes had changed from blue to a purplish-pink, while Punz and Ponk's eyes had turned completely red.

"You didn't think that you could get away with destroying the Egg, did you?" Ant asked, holding a netherite axe in his vine-covered paws.

"Oh wait, you did! What a good plan, affect me with slowness and weakness so that you could destroy the egg? Ha, well, lucky that we were warned huh?" Ant smiled as Dream, Sapnap and Eret pulled out their weapons.

"So, let's destroy you now Dream! ↸╎ᒷ ʖ⚍∷リ ᓭ⚍⎓⎓ᒷ∷ ʖꖎᒷᒷ↸ ⎓ᔑꖎꖎ ↸╎ᒷ" As soon as Ant finished speaking, the other three who were possessed by the Egg attacked Dream, Sapnap and Eret. As Dream fought Punz away, he cursed himself for not predicting an ambush. They couldn't even use the weakness potions now in case they accidentally hit each other. How could he have been so stupid? Dream heard a noise behind him and quickly brought up his shield to defend himself from Ant's axe. He turned and sliced one of the red vines coiled around Ants paw before hitting Punz in the face with the blunt side of his axe, knocking him out. Dream grabbed Ant and quickly knocked him out too. He looked over at where Sapnap and Ponk had been fighting, just in time to see Sapnap disappear.

Gone, lost a life. Now his best friend was on his last life.
