As many of you know, I have plenty of WIP projects, so I want to share with you my plans for the rest of the year. It's an ambitious schedule, subject to change, depending on mood and new ideas that seem to be popping up everywhere these days. Every time I walk the damn dog, I come up with something crazy :)

Current Projects:

War Bride - Just three chapters left and we will jump straight into Book II of the trilogy. I can't reveal the title since this could give away a spoiler.

Fear/Survive - My mystery/thriller series which is giving me quite a bit of grief at the moment (the character who speaks to me is still a little jerky while the other one has remained silent for the last couple of months). Both will move forward, but I can't promise you when/how.

When The Past Catches Up - Just past the halfway mark, the story about our star crossed lovers will move to more thrilling grounds. I envision a big bang finale in the style of 'The Firm', but still trying to wrap my head around it. 

Patrice's Story - The interim novella to bridge the waiting time between Book II and III of the 'Living With The Choices' series. 15 chapters in total are planned which will give you some additional background information on our Book III villain, Marcus Forrester.

Future Projects:

Book II of War Bride Trilogy - Stacy's saga will continue and a few new characters will take center stage, together with some old favorites :) 

Road To Redemption - Stop by for the conclusion of Rena's journey while she battles her most evil villain yet. Marcus is back, but this time, he has nothing to lose. Old wounds are torn open while Rena battles for her own survival after making a mother's sacrifice to save her son.

Experiments:

24 Days & Counting - this story will continue in July as part of Camp NaNoWriMo, alternating the POVs between antagonist and protagonist while developing the story interactively. Sign up for the Camp NaNoWriMo team and shape the story as it develops. Who will be the ultimate winner and take it all? It's all up to you...

Haunting Voices - my new DV story that will be launched after the conclusion of 'When The Past Catches Up'. Written from the antagonist POV, this story will explore the perspectives of the abuser while diving deep into his psychological mind. It will be my first attempt at a psychological thriller with potential horror elements.

Phantoms in the Shadows - planned for later in the year (possibly as November NaNoWriMo project), this will be my stab at the paranormal magical realism genre. Still debating whether to write this in 1st or 3rd person (plus present v. past), the story will totally break with my standard style. Can't guarantee you that this will be a success (I might run away screaming before I get to end), but I will give it my best shot.
