I'm Glad I Had You  As My Dad

What the author has to say about the story:

This book is about what it's like to have a parent who is going through Cancer. It goes through the stages of when the main character ( the parental figure ) goes from being an active, healthy father to a depressed, sick father.

 It talks about how the other main character ( the child ) has to start doing more chores around the house, how they start to become the parental figure themselves, while the father almost becomes a child in the situation. 

It talks about the changes in the fathers character and (like mentioned above) — how he becomes angry, sad, and very ill — where it eventually comes to the stage of the fathers passing.

It then talks about what is involved in the setting up of the fathers funeral, the stages of grief the mother and child went through, and eventually the funeral (notice that the character's sister Jamie is not mentioned in the part of the book that talks about the grief shared between the mother and child. I hope to project in the pictures somehow that Jamie has a mental disability e.g. Autism, to show why she is not grieving. Though this can be changed if too complicated.) 

The story then talks about the grief in the funeral, as well as the aftermath, and how the child still remembers the good times and memories shared with their father. 

I'm looking for an illustrator who can visualise my book, I'd love for it to be water painted or digital, drawn, anyway. But if drawn by hand, can you please have good lighting when picture is taken? Thank you.
