1)what inspired you to start writing?
What inspired me to write is my ideas and how people love my work. I was kinda nervous and shy about putting my stories out there although once I gotten used to it, I realized that a lot of people are here for same reasons to develop a writing community.
2)when you started writing and how old were you?
I started writing in kindergarten because you have to write for school. Although if you are talking about stories wise I started when I was intermediate school(7-8 grade) . I Also started to write poetry when I began high school(9-12). To answer your question 7-12 grade I've been writing stories and poems.
3) would you like to share your experience when you first started writing?
Yes. I started writing my first story when I was in 7th grade and it was a great experience, I just loved how the idea kept on coming pouring out of me like a bucket or cup of water that never ends, that's the same thing when I started to write poetry, although when I write poems it's more from the heart or what I see and experience in my real life.
4) from where do you get your ideas from.?
I get my ideas from books, movies, tv shows or just from my own experience of what I've seen and been through in my life.
5)What do you like to do when you aren't writing?
Sing, dance, act our little skits/plays for my family and friends. I also like to make videos and do fun challenges.
6) What does your family think about your writing.?
They love it and they're very supportive of me becoming an Author when I grow up. When they know what I'm passionate about something they'll help me out. Like I'm very strongly passionate becoming an author after college and they encourage me to go for it even if it's hard or very difficult they still. Know I can do it because that's my career goal. They're very good supporter and I'm glad they know about my writing.
7)Which character of your book resemble you?
I can't really say since I haven't really much on here although the more stories and chapters I write I'm pretty sure the characters will potray some of my quirks. Mostly as of now I Base my characters on TV shows or movies I've seen.
8)Which one is your favourite Male and female character of your book? Why ?
My favorite male character is jack because he is the perfect boyfriend (in my opinion) and even though I have never experience as a couple I can see it what I would like my perfect soulmate to be and my favorite female character is Meghan because even though I can't relate to her, I still can feel her connection.
9) Who is your favourite celebrity?
My favorite celebrities are:
Ariana Grande (female)
Shawn Mendes (male)
10)Challenges you face while writing?
Yes, a lot of challenges I face while I'm writing, including writers block struggling and balancing ideas off my head, no internet when I'm doing research for my book, WiFi connection problems, restarting my stories because it wasn't save, phone or computer update and it shuts off when I'm writing, etc.
11) Writing is your hobby or you want to persuade as career?
I would like to persuade writing as my career that ha s always been my goal ever since intermediate school. When I write it's not because of hobby reasons it's because I'm passionate about this career choice in my life.
12) who is your favourite author and your favourite book?
If I'm being honest I don't really have a favorite author, although I do like Raina Telgemier's stories and you'll love the BSC(the baby sitters club). You should check out Raina Telgemier and Ann. M. Martin's collab.
13) do you use any other website to update your story?
I use other apps to upload my stories and to write them. I use Inkvite to upload my stories and an app where I write my stories is Draftpad. Both of those apps are free and also yes I upload my stories on a website, if you want to check it out, the link is in my bio or here:www.werdsmith.com/WriterSaige
14) how much your readers meant to you?
They mean a lot to me almost 100%.without them I wouldn't been able to put my talent writing skills on stories and poems. The more rate and nice things I got the better it made me feel. I started to be (come) one with my writing and soak all that goodness into an idea for a new story or poem. I also opened up my heart more and be myself with my writing I don't have to worry about school or stress or people pressing me, I just wrote because it was me.
It also made me feel more clean and comfortable with that I was happy to write for others and not just myself. The more I wrote the better the ideas kept spilling out of me.
15) how much readers pressurise you to give update?
That I don't know/have the answer to. Sorry if I'm being honest, I've never seen a comment or message saying to me for updates or post more chapters and stories. So with that being say they I don't think they pressurize me not that I've noticed.
16) how you feel when some reader comments offensive and report your work? Want to say something to them?
Honestly, I hate it and I don't like to be treated like a worthless writer. Yea people are going to give mean feedback although you can take this in a good direction or a bad one. Whenever I get a bad rating or a negative comment it sucks although I could see it from the person perspective maybe it was the grammar that was off or it was too wordy and it needs to be broken down into parts/paragraph.there is always a reason why a person gives you a lame comment and it hurts making you feel like your writing is a trash or your Not comfortable with your ideas anymore because you're afraid you are going to get a terrible review. Horrible thoughts that people put into comment you chose to take it to ruin your day or move on with life and ignore it.
If you want to say something horrible then leave my page and move on to something you like, don't bother me anymore.
17) want to say something to aspiring writers?
Always write for you. Always write for the people who supports and appreciates your gift of writing. Never give up or lose hope because there's always room for improvement. Don't say I can't before u even try
. Learn from mistakes and miss opportunities. Take a chance and show the world what u have. Never take your writing as wrong because it's an art and all artist aren't perfect. It's never too late to start in fact it's the perfect time to begin your journey.
If u never fail you'll never reach the top so try. You can try and fail many times although that won't get you perfect. Success is only as far as you can jump higher than the moon. Don't be afraid to take risks because those who take it will become a successful leader at the end.
18) if you want you can ask 2 question from your readers?
What do you like about my stories and is there anything I need to improve on?
If yes then please message me on the improvement suggestions.
Who do you find the most interesting character in my stories, is it the boys or the girls?
Please give me the name and why u find them to be the most interesting character in your opinion.
Questions from reader.
a) what's your best cure for writer's block?
My best cure for writer's block is just simply listen to music and go experience nature because being in the outdoor really helps to clear your thoughts and releases your mind in order to help you to relax and gather your thoughts together.
b) how do u deal with stress when writing a new chapter for your book?
I deal with stress when writing a book I just go for a jog or take a shower. Like I said outside being with nature really helps( to remove) all of those toxic and negative thoughts. If I'm feeling too overwhelmed I watch a movie or a show that I really like and if I see something that would fix I'll would
Take a mental note and incorporate the idea into my story.
The best thing is not to worry. I mean yes you are going to have ups and downs, twists and turns although it's better to keep thriving and pushing yourself because the best writers are one who challenges themselves to do better and make their works worth something big.
Also when I'm stressed or have writer's block I like to talk to my family and friends to get their input on my ideas. When I get their feedback and suggestions I'm mostly ready to finish the story.
Another way if you like to exercise you can meditate and do yoga to easily calm your brain down. Take about a few minutes to breathe and step away to do something you like. If you like to draw, drawing is a great help to visualise your plan and get a better scenes of the story you want to write. Colouring seems to help too, if you can't draw them why not color, it's a great way to figure out your characters physical appearance and setting the background.
Reading helps if you want to figure out a write style or structure for your story. Reading is a great way to see what other authors do and how to format your ideas. Reading a book is very useful to gather an outline for your story in case you are stuck and having a hard time with outlining. Whenever I want to make a set strategy plan I'll always look at the books to see how should I end or start this sentence in the next paragraph.
