Problem 3: When The Force Is Not With You

Brain is magical. Brain is wonderful. Brain is mysterious. Brain is powerful.

BRAIN IS FUCKING USELESS WHEN I WANT MORE IDEAS!!!

"The thing is, brain don't cooperate with you. No, it steals your candies and then kick puppies while you watch and suffer." -Hoseki13

Every author has a love-hate relationship with their brains. It's a fact. No one can deny it.

Okay, there might be some who will say, "But I didn't!"

Okay then, good for you! Here! Have some cookies! *throws cookies at them*

Listen here, this is the cold hard truth:

NOT EVERYONE ON WATTPAD IS J.K ROWLING OR JOHN GREEN OR GEORGE R.R MARTIN OKAY?! THOSE PEOPLE ARE LEGENDARIES! THE ROYALTIES AMONGST US PLEBIANS! OUR GODS AND GODDESSES!!

Trying to get ideas is hard. Like, trying-to-hold-back-from-killing-someone-in-public hard.

And trying to get ideas for an update is harder. Do you know how much we have to think about? How to make the story more interesting? To make sure the flow of the story is great? To make a good plot?

I know your feeling when you're waiting for an update, readers. I do. I've been in your position before. I am still in your position right now.

But please understand that authors don't have the abilities to get ideas as easy as peeling a banana. They don't.

Our brains sometimes doesn't want to cooperate with us. And even when they do, those ideas would somehow be completely unrelatable to the story or just fucking different enough to become a story of its own (hence, the many new stories I've been publishing :/)

The point is, if you want us to update, be productive and give some suggestions or support or love and not demanding us to update fast.

We're humans. Not J.K Rowling. Or John Green. Or even George R.R Martin.

Please remember that. Thank you.

Hoseki13, signing out! *gives a salute*
