CHAPTER TEN
"With all the smiles you brought me, I never thought that you could cause me so many tears."

Namjoon followed Jimin into the limousine, his whole stance was uncomfortable as he sat down.
"A freaking limousine Jimin?!" Namjoon asked, his eyes wandering around the vehicle. They even had their own personal driver up front.
Jimin chuckled. "Only for you sweetheart."
Namjoon scoffed at the pet name. "Whatever." He muttered, his eyes averting Jimin's gaze. He didn't want to look at that ugly mans face, and how he just used money whenever he pleased.
Namjoon was well off, having sold many books but he would never waste money on something he didn't need. He didn't even have a car, just used public transportation whenever he needed to go somewhere or walked. He hardly ever went out either way.
"Great conversation." Jimin said dryly, snapping Namjoon out of his thoughts. He rolled his eyes and glared at Jimin, not bothering to say anything.
"Really? How rude. Not even talking to your date." Jimin said teasingly, moving over so he was sitting closer to Namjoon. Namjoon wanted to move over, but the seat he was sitting on was on the edge and there was no room to move over.
"Fantastic." Jimin continued on, his hand sliding on top of Namjoon's. Namjoon jerked his hand away from Jimin's touch but Jimin's hand was firm and held Namjoon's hand down.
"So, hows your new boyfriend - what was his name again? Seokjin right?" Jimin smirked, knowing this would get Namjoon to open his mouth.
"How do you know about him?" Namjoon demanded. "And we're not dating."
"Sure, sure you aren't." Jimin mocked. "And why does it matter how I know about him? That doesn't concern you. It's a small world after all, Joonie."
Jimin hardly called Namjoon by the proper honorific of 'hyung' since they were so close that Namjoon didn't mind. Well, usually they'd just call each other by pet names.
"Whatever." Namjoon muttered.
The rest of the ride was silent and Namjoon was still wondering how Jimin knew about him and Seokjin - and they weren't even dating!
On the other hand, Jimin was smirking, thinking about how his plan was going just smoothly, the way he wanted it.

Jin sat at the edge of his bed nervous. He was on edge wondering why Namjoon hadn't responded yet. Was Namjoon still a bit mad about what had happened between them? He didn't know.
He was contemplating on whether to go over to Namjoon's apartment or just stay here and wait for a text. He was impatient but he didn't want to look needy. He sighed.
He decided that he wanted to call Taehyung over but then realized that if he did, Taehyung would just scold him over and over again about the same thing.
Partly Namjoon and partly the fact that he was.. well currently unemployed. Which was also part of the reason that Jin made so many homemade meals instead of going out to eat lots.
He wasn't poor.. yet.
He still had quite a bit of money from his previous job saved up in his bank account, but he knew if he didn't get a job soon - his money would run out quite quickly.
Jin frowned. He knew he needed to start job searching again but he couldn't get his mind off of Namjoon. He wondered if the boy was okay. He wondered how his book was going. He wondered what the end of Namjoon's book was.
Jin decided that he was going to go over to Namjoon's apartment. He didn't want to seem clingy but he didn't have anything else to do. Hopefully, Namjoon wouldn't mind.
Jin shuffled over to the apartment next door and knocked twice, he stood there waiting for an answer. He frowned when he had heard no answer. He knocked again but there still was no answer.
He sighed in defeat and trudged back to his own apartment. Maybe Namjoon was out doing something, well hopefully whatever it was he was doing - he was having fun.

On the other hand, Namjoon was not having fun at all. They had just arrived at the incredibly fancy restaurant and Jimin apparently already had reservations for two - knowing that Namjoon would have came because of his threat..
They were seated across from each other, the limousine had gone away to who knows where and they had just ordered.
Jimin snaked his hand against Namjoon's leg and Namjoon jerked back shocked.
"Don't touch me." He growled at Jimin who giggled.
"What's the matter babe?" He teased, getting an even angrier reaction from Namjoon which made Jimin pleased. "Is everything alright?" He grinned, as he snaked his hand higher up his leg, reaching Namjoon's knee.
"Don't touch me." Namjoon said once more, using his own hand to pull Jimin's hand away from Namjoon's knee.
"Live on the edge." Jimin replied, but moved his hand away from Namjoon's leg.
Namjoon glared at Jimin.
"Don't fucking touch me ever again you piece of shit." Namjoon snapped.
"Shush, wouldn't want others around to hear. That would ruin my image!" Jimin teased.
Jimin was actually pretty popular, he danced and he sang, and he posted a video of him dancing and singing one time and it blew up. He travelled around places in South Korea to sing and dance, but he wasn't quite an idol yet.
"No one cares about your image, and I don't especially." Namjoon retorted. He didn't date Jimin for fame, he dated Jimin because he liked him but obviously Jimin didn't like him back.
Jimin rolled his eyes. "I care about my image." He said sassily.
"Yo, waiter hurry the up!" Jimin called out. "Jeez, this is a five star restaurant and the food is slow as shit."
Namjoon stayed silent, he was tired and wanted to leave but he knew if he did.. Jimin would get his revenge. For some reason, Jimin always knew everything and Namjoon once thought Jimin just knew everybody, but now he knew Jimin had his ways that were far beyond knowing a lot of people.
Namjoon felt Jimin's hand touch his knee again and Namjoon ripped his knee away from Jimin. He was started to get irritated but he could also feel panic arising the more Jimin touched him. He felt unsafe with Jimin.
He looked around and saw other people in the restaurant, he knew he wasn't alone but he felt as alone as ever.
"What's the matter Joonie baby?" Jimin teased.
Before Namjoon could respond, a waiter stumbled over and shoved the plates down onto the table - mixing up who's food was who's.
Jimin scoffed in disbelief and switched the plates before turning his attention back to Namjoon.
"Eat up." He smirked.
Namjoon hesitated for a moment, but then took his fork and knife and dug into the juicy steak. His mouth was watering and he was hungry. He totally forgot that Jimin was there and started to shove the food into his mouth - politely of course.
He ignored Jimin the whole entire time as he ate the steak. Jimin didn't bother to start up a conversation either, he was too busy eating his own food as well.
That was well, what the two had in common. They both loved food, not as much as Jin - but you know.
Namjoon finished before Jimin and gulped down the rest of his water, then finally realizing that Jimin was still sitting in front of him. Namjoon almost swore but held back his tongue and averted his eyes away from Jimin who didn't seem to notice that Namjoon was staring.
"This food is delicious." Jimin said, causing Namjoon to turn back to Jimin.
Namjoon rolled his eyes. He didn't want to talk to that jerk but he didn't have to reply as Jimin kept going.
"I can't believe I yelled at the waiter, this food is heaven."
Namjoon rolled his eyes once more and saw that Jimin had finished.
Jimin stood up to leave, and grabbed his jacket and such.
Namjoon stood up and followed him confused as to why they were leaving so quickly. He didn't ask any questions though and saw Jimin pull out his wallet. Jimin muttered something to the cashier before paying.
He saw Jimin shove his wallet back into his pocket and started to turn to leave.
Namjoon went to follow him.
"Excuse me sir? You haven't paid yet."
Namjoon stood there frozen, and watched as Jimin turned around and looked at him. He smiled and waved and gave Namjoon his cheeky smile before leaving the building.
Fuck.
And of course, Namjoon had to forget to bring his wallet with him.
