CHAPTER FIVE

"Kiss me on the lips."

-=+=-

Namjoon groaned in pain as he held his nose with a tissue. He made his way back into his apartment after slamming his face against the cement.

His nose was bleeding heavily but he was pretty sure there was no other injuries. He had scraped his cheek a bit and that was all.

Instead of showering and being able to get ready to have dinner with Jin, Namjoon was stuck dealing with his bleeding nose.

Namjoon grumbled to himself about how stupid he was when he heard his phone ding.

Jinnie: Hi! I got the ingredients, you can come over now

Namjoon: ah.. about that

(reminder namjoons name is just namjoon while texting jin cause he felt weird putting something else while texting w yoongi + hoseok he has capitals in his name)

Jinnie: don't tell me you're going to cancel :(

Namjoon: uh no. it just happens that i randomly got a nose bleed right when i got back. didn't have time to wash up as im currently still bleeding from my nose :')

Jinnie: ...

Namjoon barely had time to respond to the text when he heard his front door slam open and there Jin stood rushing over to Namjoon.

"Are you alright?" Jin asked, inspecting Namjoon's bleeding nose.

Namjoon nodded. He was too embarrassed to tell Jin that he had tripped and fell, so instead he just made up a quick lie.

"That's a heavy nose bleed." Jin muttered, telling Namjoon to remove the tissue for one second.

"HEY! There's a bruise on your cheek!" Jin scolds glaring at Namjoon who just smiled sheepishly.

"You liar!" Jin points an angry finger at Namjoon. "You tripped didn't you?"

Namjoon rolled his eyes. "Yeah." He huffed.

"You're clumsy." Jin scoffed.

"I'm also the 'God of Destruction' as Yoongi-hyung and Hobi call me." Namjoon makes a blank face and then sighs.

"How long has your nose been bleeding for though? I might have to take you to the hospital!" Jin said worriedly, seeing as Namjoon's nose bleed continue, and the tissues began to pile up.

"It should be fine." Namjoon replied. "Thanks for worrying though, hyung."

Jin smiled at Namjoon and frowned, looking as if he suddenly remembered something.

"I'll be right back. I'll go grab the food, I started to make something but I haven't put it on the stove yet. I'll just bring it over and do it here." Jin explained.

Namjoon nodded and Jin left his apartment.

Namjoon lifted up his arm and sniffed. He smelt like trash, he sighed and kept the tissue pressed up against his nose.

He could see that the bleeding was getting better. He sighed in relief.

Namjoon waited for Jin to come back and frowned as to why Jin was taking so long.

Namjoon shrugged and looked down at his tissue when he realized the bleeding had stopped. Namjoon grabbed the trash can and shoved all of the tissues inside.

He saw that Jin still wasn't here, so he decided to shower quickly. He popped into the shower and groaned as the hot water hit him. He felt so relaxed.

Namjoon didn't hear Jin come in, as he was obviously in the shower.

Jin heard the shower running and didn't say anything, but instead he had a bunch of ingredients and food bundled up in his hand and he was walking along side another person.

Namjoon hopped out of the shower to smell the delicious smell of cooking. Jin was here.

Namjoon slipped on some clothes making sure he looked presentable enough. He dried off his hair with his towel but didn't bother enough to blow dry it. Jin and him were friends now, right?

He tugged on some glasses he had on his bedside table and walked towards the door. He peered out to see Jin cooking and another boy beside him.

Namjoon blinked, confused. Jin never said he was bringing someone over..

That was when Namjoon realized it was the boy he had seen knocking on Jin's door.

Namjoon then felt a bit of jealously bubble inside him but he ignored it knowing that it was the same as him having Yoongi and Hoseok over.

Besides, Jin wouldn't get jealous over that anyway. Jin had his own friends and Namjoon had his own friends as well.

Namjoon took a deep breath and stepped forward into the kitchen.

He knew he shouldn't be nervous. After all, this also was his apartment.

Moments after he stepped out, Jin noticed him.

"Oh hi Namjoon! I'm sorry i didn't tell you I was bringing someone over! He was just at my apartment and I thought why not invite him! This is Taehyung, he's younger than you." Jin introduced, the boy named Taehyung sat there and smiled.

"Hi! Im Taehyung, can I call you Namjoon-hyung?" Taehyung spoke, his loud, clear voice could be heard anywhere.

"Sure!" Namjoon responded smiling at the boy. He seemed very nice, and had nice style as well.

"Sorry to intrude, I didn't know you and Jinnie-hyung were hanging out tonight." Taehyung grinned.

Namjoon used his hand to motion that it was fine and sat down across from Taehyung.

"So is Jin-hyung just doing all of the cooking?" Namjoon joked.

"Well, seeing as how clumsy you are, I wouldn't want you even near the kitchen." Jin retorted.

Namjoon scoffed and grinned as he could hear Taehyung giggling madly in the background.

"Are you alright?" Namjoon turned to Taehyung who was dying of laughter.

"You guys are so cute together!" Taehyung smirked at the two boys who blushed and looked away from one another.

"Don't say that." Namjoon hummed, something inside him felt really happy after hearing that statement.

Namjoon had never really thought about whether he was gay or not. He didn't like labels, he'd just decided he'd fall in love with whom ever he did.

He even wrote about it in one of his books. A boy who was lost and didn't know his sexuality. That book was called 'Wings.'

It was the first book he had ever written. That was back when he was in his junior year of high school. He had never showed anyone that story until after high school. His papers for that story had fallen out when he bumped into someone.

That someone happened to be Jeon Jungkook, an editor and whom happened to now still be his current editor.

Jungkook did work under a company, but Namjoon didn't work under that company. Jungkook was like his personal editor, but still worked for his company.

Therefore that made Jungkook quite rich. He made money from working under a company and being Namjoon's editor.

Namjoon blinked back into reality when he heard Taehyung call out his name.

"Namjoon-hyung, what do you do for a job?" Taehyung asked, curiously. Jin was currently putting spices into some sort of stew.

"I write." Namjoon replied. "Er, I happen to be an author." He chuckles.

Taehyung eye's widened and there was this glint in his eye.

"That's right! I remember now! Kim Namjoon right? I'm pretty sure Jin-hyung has one of your books." Taehyung grinned and stared at Jin who nodded in comply.

Oh.

So that was how Jin knew his name. Namjoon thought.

He hummed. "So what book do you have of mine?" He asked Jin who shrugged.

"I think it was called 'Come Back Home', but I'm not quite sure." Jin replied. "I haven't read it yet, it's in my bookshelf somewhere."

Namjoon's smile slowly started to fade and he didn't even realize it.

Come Back Home was his most recent book, that had only came out three months ago. It took Namjoon really long to write that book, though he didn't have writer's block like he did now.

"Ah." Namjoon responded and nodded his head.

Jin could sense there was something wrong with Namjoon, but decided not to say anything. He didn't want to be rude, after all he had yet to read Namjoon's book yet.

"Food's ready!" Jin announced, placing down a huge pot of stew (idk what they eat in korea).

"This looks good as always Jin-hyung!" Tae said cheerfully, immediately grabbing his bowl and putting some stew/soup in there.

"It does look good." Namjoon agreed with Tae, Jin smiled.

"You haven't even tasted it yet- Taehyung it's going to be hot!" Jin scolds and slaps the spoon away from Taehyung's hand, making some soup splash onto the table.

Taehyung glared at Jin who rolled his eyes. Namjoon burst out laughing at the two's behaviour, but deep down he couldn't help but feel a slight pang on his heart.

Namjoon ignored it, he hated the feeling of guilt and jealousy.

The three boys ate fairly quickly, leaving their bowls and the pot completely empty.

"I'm full." Taehyung complained, laying down on Namjoon's couch as Jin started to clean up and Namjoon started to wash dishes.

"You could help you know." Namjoon snorted as Taehyung groaned in response.

"No way, you guys are older, so you do all the work hyung." Tae stuck out his tongue at them and Jin and Namjoon just rolled their eyes.

"So how's your new book going?" Jin asked Namjoon who shrugged.

"I still don't have many ideas." Namjoon frowned.

Jin chuckled. "It must be hard being a writer, if you write so many books, won't you run out of ideas?"

"Not necessarily." Namjoon responded. "Your brain is always working, therefore you're always thinking about something and having ideas and thoughts in your head. Being an author is very fun, though it wasn't what I expected to be."

"Hm?" Jin asked, confused as to when Namjoon had stated his last point.

Namjoon shrugged.

"I was actually studying to either become a rapper, or I was going to study business." Namjoon responded.

"I don't know when writing started, it kind of just happened. I wrote my first book in my junior year of high school."

Jin's eyes widened at Namjoon's response to his question.

"That's amazing Joonie! I didn't know you wrote your first book in high school! That's amazing! But why didn't you become a rapper or be in business then?" Jin asked.

Namjoon was slightly uncomfortable and a bit irritated by Jin's questions, but he responded anyway since he didn't want to be rude. He knew if he had book signings and things like that, questions like these would come up - therefore that was why Namjoon didn't have any book signings.

If people wanted to meet him, they just had to find him walking in the middle of the street in Seoul. It was as simple as that.

"Well, after I graduated high school - I was sort of an underground rapper, but then my current editor, Jungkook found my story and said that I'd be a great author and here I am." Namjoon explained. Jin nodded his head and gasped at the such amazing story.

Taehyung hummed and listened in the background.

"That's pretty cool." Jin smiled.

"What do you do?" Namjoon asked and turned to Jin, and also made eye contact with Taehyung to tell him that he was also talking to him as well.

"I'm becoming a doctor." Jin replied. "I have one more year of university left."

"I'm in university to become a teacher, I love playing with kids." Taehyung grinned.

"Wow, those are two amazing jobs." Namjoon muttered, Jin was going to be rich - damn. Taehyung would also have a pretty well paying job too.

Not that an author was bad at making money, it's just if no one buys his books, then he'd have no money. Also, he had to keep releasing books to make profit.

Namjoon was still making profit from his recent book that came out, though he wanted another one to come out this year, it looked like it wasn't going to happen at the rate he was going.

He would have to finish typing chapters, send them to his editor, have them revised over and over again until his whole entire story was perfect. Then, Namjoon would have to create a book covers, and have everything else done.

The whole process was too complicated for Namjoon's liking, but he did most of the work along with Jungkook who just revised his writing and edited multiple times.

Jungkook also made his book covers for him, as he was an amazing artist. Namjoon was really thankful for Jungkook, who was also not just a co-worker but a really close friend of his along with Hoseok and Yoongi.

Jin finished cleaning up the kitchen table, and Namjoon finished washing the dishes.

"Want to watch a movie?" Taehyung suggested as the two boys piled next to him on the couch where Taehyung seemed to just be on his phone.

"Sure, what movie?" Jin asked.

Namjoon stood up and went over to all the movies he had and selected one.

"21 jump street?" He suggested.

The two boys shrugged in response.

Namjoon pulled out another movie and smirked when he saw it was a horror movie.

"Annabelle?" He spoke, the tone of his voice becoming slightly deeper and dark.

A curt smile formed on Taehyung's lips and he nodded in agreement. Jin who looked slightly nervous, licked his lips and hummed to let Namjoon know it was fine.

"I'm going to grab some blankets, let's turn off the lights." Namjoon grinned. He turned to his closet in the hallway and grabbed some blankets, tossing them at Taehyung who caught them.

Next, Namjoon flipped the light switch off, the only thing that allowed him to see was the bright light from the TV screen.

Namjoon plopped down right in between the two boys who had already settled in their blankets.

Taehyung had the small one and Jin had the big one. Jin passed him half the blanket and Namjoon snuggled inside the blanket.

The movie started to play and the three boys started to zone into the movie, ignoring everything else around them.

Throughout the movie, neither Jin or Namjoon realized, but each other had moved closer to one another to the point where there sides were touching and Namjoon's arm was around Jin slightly.

Taehyung who had noticed smirked and turned his attention back to the movie quickly, as Namjoon turned his head and looked at Taehyung.

Taehyung had watched this movie before and he knew that Jin scared quite easy, not very easily but he'd definitely jump a bit.

Here came the scariest part of the movie, and Taehyung was totally ready for it. He turned to watch the two boys reactions.

BAM.

Jin screamed and Namjoon thrashed suddenly causing his legs to cross over on top of Jin's.

"OH MY FUCKING GOD!" Namjoon screamed, hugging onto Jin who was hugging him back.

Taehyung burst out laughing and sunk into his blanket, dying of laughter.

Namjoon ignored Taehyung and realized how close he was to Jin. He knew Jin realized it to, as the two boys stared at each other awkwardly.

"Erm.." Namjoon muttered.

Jin's eyes widened and he didn't know how to respond when he turned his head to look at Taehyung who was still laughing.

His head bumped into Namjoon's head and the boy groaned.

Jin felt his heart jump slightly. His lips were so close to Namjoon's.

"I-." Namjoon started to speak.

Jin cut him off.

Jin slammed his lips against Namjoon, not able to resist him. His fine lips, and his cute everything. Jin just couldn't help himself. He even forgot that Taehyung was watching.

While that was how Jin felt, Namjoon was frozen. He didn't know how to act, what to think. His heart was racing.

Namjoon instantly pulled away from Jin and backed up as he slam into Taehyung. Namjoon scrambled to get out of the blankets quickly and instantly darted out of his apartment leaving a surprised Taehyung and a 'I knew I fucked up' Jin.

Namjoon ran out of his apartment building quickly running to who knows where.

Well. He was running towards Yoongi and Hoseok's apartment. The only place he could truly go.

It was freezing outside yet Namjoon didn't have a coat with him. Heavy rain was pouring but Namjoon didn't stop running for a second, even as he slipped and stumbled on the sidewalk.

He arrived at Yoongi and Hoseok's apartment quickly, sprinting the whole entire way. Namjoon didn't feel tired though, his adrenaline was higher than a guy smoking weed.

Namjoon ran into their apartment building ignoring the shouts he received from the receptionist who yelled at him for not wiping his shoes off.

Namjoon didn't bother taking the elevator and shot up the stairs quickly, arriving at the third floor.

He ran down the hallway right towards his friends' apartment.

He banged on the door multiple times when the door shot open.

Hoseok stood there confused, with a sleepy Yoongi behind him ~ a pissed off look on his face.

"Namjoon?" Hoseok questioned, surprised to see Namjoon standing there with a panicked look. His cheeks were wet from either the rain or his own tears.

"Hoseok.. Yoongi-hyung." Namjoon barely managed to gasp out their names.

"I-I can't do this anymore."

With that, Namjoon collapsed into Hoseok's arms.
