CHAPTER ELEVEN
"I miss how it used to be between us."

Namjoon dug around in his pockets for his phone, or a wallet, or anything really.
Of fucking course Park Jimin wouldn't take Namjoon out on a normal date because Jimin isn't fucking normal.
Well, only according to Namjoon.
Everyone else found Jimin such a sweetheart, only Namjoon knew the real him.
Of course, Namjoon also being an idiot, he had forgotten to bring his phone or wallet causing panic to arise even further.
He could feel his palms start to sweat as he looked over to the cashier who was waiting impatiently, raising an eyebrow at him. He was fucked.
"I-I." Namjoon swallowed miserably, as the cashier rolled her eyes and scoffed.
"Move out of the way." She snapped. He moved aside for the next person in line to come forward.
Namjoon, being awkward Namjoon felt tears starting to form in the corner of his eyes and he was shaking heavily. He darted into the bathroom with the cashier yelling something at him but he ignored it. He made his way into one of the stalls and slammed the door shut, sitting down onto the toilet.
Breathe, Namjoon, breathe.
He thought to himself, before knowing that it wasn't working and he'd eventually have to go outside and face the wrath of the angry cashier.
With no money, and no phone - what was he to do?
Namjoon groaned and hid his face into his hands.
I hate you Park Jimin.
He sat in silence unsure of what to do before he thought that he could call someone - Yoongi or Hoseok to bring him some money or something, but then again he'd still have to go talk to the angry cashier.
He sighed. He knew he had to get over his fear of talking to strangers, but he was nervous either way.
Namjoon slowly made his way out of his stall, making sure no one was in the bathroom with him and started to splash a bunch of water on his face before staring into the mirror.
Thoughts spiralled around his head as he looked himself in the eye.
Why am I so stupid to fall in love with someone who hurt me over and over again? And even worse, why do I still love him?
Only to just go back and back again to him..
I can't forgive what he's done to me...
Can I?
Namjoon snapped out of his trance as someone entered the bathroom. He awkwardly didn't make eye contact with them and ran out of the bathroom, leaving the tap water still running. He knew the guy called him back saying something about the tap water but he ignored him - he didn't want to have even more awkward situations with people.
Anti social Namjoon back at it again.
Namjoon stood at the side and waited for the cashier to finish talking to someone before heading over.
"You found some money in the bathroom?" She snorted.
Namjoon ignored that comment.
"Can I-uh borrow your erm phone?" He stuttered nervously, avoiding eye contact with her.
The cashier pretended to think for a moment before going inside quickly and coming back outside with a phone.
"As long as it makes you leave this building." She retorted, handing him the phone, scratching him with his nail.
Namjoon bit his lip before dialling Yoongi's phone number. He heard the phone ring multiple times before it directly went to voice mail.
Great.
Namjoon dialled Hoseok's number next, and of course the same thing had to happen to him as well.
He was running out of options as the cashier looked at him impatiently, giving him a big glare.
He knew he could also call Jungkook, but he didn't remember Jungkook's number, as he hardly called him.
That was when he realized he did know someone's number.
Seokjin's.

Jin was quietly reading the newspaper on his couch trying to look to see if any easy job offers were around so he could make some easy cash when his phone rang.
He grabbed his phone off the coffee table next to him and looked at the caller ID. It was from some restaurant that Jin was pretty sure he'd seen somewhere before.
Confused as to why a restaurant was calling him, Jin picked up and answered the phone lazily.
"Hi." Jin spoke, putting the phone in-between his shoulder and ear before picking up the newspaper again and flipping through it. The pages slipping through his fingers slowly.
"Jin-hyung?" A voice asked. Jin furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. The voice was very familiar but Jin couldn't quite pinpoint who it was.
"Er, yeah?" He asked, in a softer tone figuring that he knew this person.
"It's Namjoon. I-I have a really big emergency." Namjoon said.
Jin could hear the desperation and a bit of panic in Namjoon's voice.
"What's wrong Joonie? Are you okay?" Jin asked immediately, sitting up, the newspaper falling off of his lap.
"I-I so I was, well never mind that, I need money because I forgot my wallet, and uh, no one will pick up and um-" Namjoon was cut off by someone in the background.
Jin couldn't hear what they had said but he heard Namjoon say something along the lines of 'come to this restaurant and bring lots of money please!' before the phone hung up.
Jin blinked, and then reacted. He immediately made his way out of his apartment grabbing his car keys.
He checked his caller ID and saw the restaurant, he put the name of the restaurant into his GPS and started to head there immediately.
If Namjoon needed help, he was glad to help.
He started to drive as fast as he could, following the speed limits of course.
It took him around 20 minutes to make it to the restaurant and Jin parked his car recklessly, if he was in a drivers test, he would have failed right away.
Jin locked his car before jogging into the restaurant.
He saw Namjoon standing to the side with an angry looking cashier near him yelling at him.
"Hey!" Jin called out before stepping in-between Namjoon and the cashier.
"Jin-hyung!" Namjoon said, his voice relieved.
"It's okay, Joon." Jin said, turning to Namjoon.
"So uh, what did you need?" He asked, Namjoon blushed furiously.
Before Namjoon could speak up, the cashier had already spoken for him.
"Well this dumbfuck here forgot his wallet, and haha to him - his date only paid for himself!" She sneered.
His date?
Jin could feel a pang in his chest but he ignored it, and weakly smiled at Namjoon.
"It's okay, I'll pay for you." Jin replied.
His hands dug into his coat pocket but it was empty.
That was when Jin realized that he had also forgotten his wallet on the way out...
The cashier slammed her hands on the desk, angry.
"That's fucking it. I'm getting the owner, wait right here." She said in a deathly tone before disappearing into the back.
Jin could see panic and stress written all over Namjoon's face.
Jin rested a hand on Namjoon's shoulder, causing Namjoon to look a bit downwards to meet Jin's eyes. Jin disliked how Namjoon was taller than him.
"It'll be alright - don't worry. We'll find a way out of this. I could run home quickly and grab my wallet and come right back." Jin whispered to Namjoon who just shrugged and looked at the floor.
"I'm sorry." Namjoon muttered.
Jin's eyes widened.
"For what?" He asked.
"For dragging you into my mess." Namjoon responded, a sigh escaped his lips.
The two boys were interrupted as the door swung open and the cashier came back with an older looking woman.
"Well, what do we have here? A boy who hasn't paid for his food and another boy who was like "i'm going to be your knight and shining armour and come rescue you!" but also forgets to bring his wallet." The woman scoffed.
Jin could tell that the cashier and the woman looked quite alike, he assumed they were daughter and mother.
"We're really sorry-" Jin started to apologize, bowing his head when the woman again interrupted him.
"We're really sorry!" She mocked. "Maybe you should bring your fucking wallet next time. You're here 20 minutes past closing time."
Jin wasn't sure of what to say, and he could tell Namjoon was frightened.
Jin grabbed Namjoon's hand and squeezed tightly. He knew that Namjoon didn't do well in front of strangers, he wasn't sure what had happened to Namjoon to have caused such anti social anxiety and such, but he didn't care as long as Namjoon was safe.
That was when anger struck Jin.
What fucking date would pay for themselves and not the other?
Jin's eyes darkened slightly, and Namjoon could see the anger starting to boil up. He took a step away and pulled away from Jin's grip.
It seemed that Jin didn't notice as he marched up to the woman.
"For fucks sake." Jin started.
It's begun, run for your lives!
Namjoon thought, backing up until he was right up against the wall next to the door. He closed his eyes.
"WHAT FUCKING DATE WOULD LEAVE THEIR PARTNER TO PAY FOR THEMSELVES?" Jin roared. "AND SO WHAT IF HE FORGOT TO BRING HIS FUCKING WALLET, THIS IS HIS FIRST TIME HERE SO LET HIM OFF EASY! EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES AND I'M SURE YOU HAVE TOO! JUST BECAUSE HE FORGOT HIS WALLET DOESN'T MEAN HE CAN'T PAY YOU BACK! WHAT? YOU DON'T TRUST HIM? HOW COULD YOU NOT TRUST SUCH A SWEET INNOCENT LITTLE BEAN LIKE HIM. WHY YOU-" Jin was cut off by Namjoon weakly speaking up.
"Hyung.. I-I think you should s-stop." Namjoon murmured, looking up innocently into Jin's eyes.
Jin took a deep breath for a moment before turning to the frightened mother and daughter behind the counter.
Jin could be real scary when he was angry, that was for sure.
"You can leave.." The owner managed to mutter out before using her hand to motion them to get the fuck out.
Jin turned around and grabbed Namjoon's hand before dragging him out of the restaurant and all the way to Jin's car. They were finally seated in Jin's car when he finally spoke up.
"What the fuck was that about?" Jin asked, his tone wasn't angry - more of a tired tone but it still made Namjoon a bit upset hearing Jin.
"W-well, it's a long story." Namjoon replied.
Jin pulled out of the parking lot.
"I have time." Jin retorted.
Namjoon shrugged his shoulders instead and looked out the window. His eyes looked lost in thoughts, and saddened.
"I-I c-can't." Namjoon responded, his voice cracking. Jin nodded, he understood. Namjoon wasn't ready to tell him yet, and he was fine with that. They weren't that close yet.
"Darling, it's all right." Jin replied. "Just never go back to that restaurant again okay?"
Namjoon cracked a smile when he heard Jin say that. "Thanks hyung, I really appreciate it." He replied, sighing in relief as he had finally gotten out of that horrible situation.
His eyes started to drift off to sleep and he leaned against the window.
Jin noticed and just gave a soft smile.
Namjoon was such a cutie. Everything about him was just lovely..
Jin's eyes trailed onto Namjoon's body as Namjoon was drifting off to sleep. Namjoon didn't notice that Jin was staring at him as he was almost asleep.
That was when a car slammed into the side of Jin's vehicle.
But I mean, who wouldn't get distracted if Namjoon was in the passenger seat of their vehicle falling asleep?
