The environment around them soon faded away as he became lost in her gaze. He intertwined their fingers, locking her hand in his loving grip. He slowly rose it to meet his lips, planting gentle kisses on her soft skin. She couldn't help the blush creeping up on her face, giggling at his sudden adorable gesture. 

     Finally managing to tear his eyes away from hers, he began to study her lips like a textbook, admiring the natural pink tones that were weaved into it. He bit his lower lip, debating whether to take advantage or not. It didn't take long for him to pull her into his strong arms, trapping her in a passionate kiss. Unsure of her reaction, he kept his eye shut, praying that a burned cheek wasn't in his future.

     Almost on cue, he felt her delicate hands cup his cheeks as she slowly returned the kiss. Seeing this as the "go-ahead", he snaked an arm around her waist, tangling his fingers into her soft locks with his free hand.

(A/N): It's always the fluffy scenes in books that make me want to start writing fanfics and/or oneshots again. However, I always win that battle. ;3
