Epilogue

The sunlight crept into a dark room, a mount of a man sleeping was seen amidst the golden shimer of the morning sunshine,  as Mark woke up to an empty bed, he had been waking up alone for the last 15 years. Sighing he got off the cold bed as he went down the wooden stair case, to make breakfast. Alot had changed in a span of 15 years, it had to. Their house, their life everything but Mark couldnt. Small dainty arms wrapped around his waist as he smiled nostalgically.

"Good Morning Sarang." Mark chuckled as a sleepy girl with thin lips, seagull eyebrows and small eyes with a skin with a golden hue also with long golden locks looked up at him.

"Morning Daddy." She smiled sweetly reminding him of a certain someone.

"Morning Dad!" Michael ran downstairs, he was extactly that certain someone. Plump lips, golden skin, big doe eyes, chestnut brown hair and a radient smile.

They reminded him of his wife, his whole life, but what can he do? Nothing but go on with his pathetic life. Having made breakfast and eaten the three seperated their ways. Life turned disastrous the day their twins were born. Ever since then Mark was never the same, living was a curse. Mark no longer came home to warm hugs or kisses, he came to his house. The twins made things a little better but they reminded him too much of his wife.

"Daddy please dont cry." They would hug him tight on their birthday every year but he couldnt stop for he knew how hard he faught for his baby sunshine.

With bunches of sunflowers the older found himself visit Donghyuck, with their children, as Sakura flowers covered the pathways. Their thoughts lost and distant, the twins had never seen their mother and Mark was left behind with so much to remember.

Donghyuck never woke up that night, he left Mark with two wailing new born babies, leaving him devastated and shattered. For years he blamed himself for asking Donghyuck to do it that night, when the coffin was lowered down, Mark screamed in painful agony as their babies cried for the warmth of their mother.

"Dad! You had a nightmare again." Michael shook his father as he left to his room.

Mark whipped the sweat away as he removed his t shirt with a sigh, the bed no longer felt warm, it was cold and scray. There wasnt anybody for him. It had been years since he visited home, his Juliet died at childbirth. If only Donghyuck took him along with him.

The house gave out a sinister coldness, Mark needed him, he still loved him so much. Donghyuck was his world, his whole heart. His everything. Why did love have to hurt so much? Why did god sepetate him from his sunshine? The cruelity only left behind deep sore scares that never seemed to heal.

"Daddy do I look beautiful?" Sarang asked swirling around with a giggle. Mark was once again reminded of his Hyuckie in Juliet's dress. Why? Why was life so harsh?

"You look lovely darling." Mark looked up from his papers. They were the only reason he was holding on, if not for the twins he would have followed his wife without hestitation.

"Do I look like Mommy?" She asked softly coming closer as her father kissed her forehead with a hurt smile.

"Yes honey. Gorgeous just like Mommy." Mark caressed her chubby cheek fondly. Michael stood at the door frame as his sister ran off to go on her first date.

"Dad he's watching over you. And he's everywhere, specially sitting on your heart." Michael sat next to the stressed father that now had a few white strands on his once luscious golden hair. The stressed was taking a toll on him.

"I-I'm sorry.....I just love him too much and had to go through so much so we could be together....and he left." Mark removed his glasses wiping his tears.

"He left behind his babies. Us. I lost my mother, I dont want to loose you too Dad. I need you. We need you." Michael kissed his fathers forehead and left to drive his sister to her date.

Mark stared at the picture that sat on his table, that smile, the person himself made him smile. He wanted to grow old with Donghyuck, to have more children, to live a fairytale that they always imagined of but nothing was granted. That night he sat before his sunshines grave, crying as the rain poured down above him.

"I said I cant live without you! So did you but why did you have to leave!?" Mark screamed, "If there ever was something called a next life I want us be together, I want us to grow old together." The older cried, his heart weak with the loss of its soulmate.

Seasons changed, Years passed as life went on, Donghyucks grave was always covered with sunflowers and cherry blossoms, the love he deserved was showered upon him by friends and especially by his children and his beloved husband. Mark Jung. He wasnt forgotten, instead he was remembered every single day of his husbands life, even though others had moved on for 15 years were quite a long time, Mark often sat before a picture talking to or even staring at it for hours conjuring the sweet past as he grew old alone. The house had a picture of their mother at every corner, proud on a wall. They loved him by stories and by imagination, they came to adore their mother. Mark held on, he held on for the blessings, the pieces of his Donghyuck, his Juliet had left behind. The wind blew over Mark, as he sat stood at the grave of his wife once again.

"I love you Baby Hae." Mark whispered as he kelt down placing a bunch of sun flowers as the man walked away with a smile on his face as tears slipped down his wrinkled face. The wind blew harder as if it were Donghyuck running to back hug his lover. Mark turned behind as if he head his baby call him. As if he heard the younger whisper a silent I love You but only saw the cherry blossoms fall on Donghyucks grave. He smiled as he walked away.
