WWE: Stealing And Copying

I'm gonna try to not make this a rant nor make it about me because WWE, you either play favorites with your wrestlers, or you steal ideas from different wrestling companies. Just choose one and admit that you're in the wrong. We'll forgive you for it, it's not a problem.

Now, based on my research, this isn't the only time WWE stole ideas from different companies other other wrestlers. They've been under fire for a while now for stealing a wrestler's gimmick by the name of Max The Impaler, basically copying and pasting it on Sarah Logan's new look alongside the Viking Raiders.

Just look at Max's look and then look at Sarah's and tell me that they don't look the same.

When you look at Max's look you think, "Oh, that must be Max The Impaler". You look at Sarah's look and you think, "Oh, that must be Max The Impaler". There's nothing about Sarah Logan's new look that makes her all the more different now that she's joined up with her real life husband Rowe and best friend Hanson.

It's a copy, and from my experience working in delis and learning on different concepts to keep people interested, copies always underperform the original and that's why Sarah's look is a piece of garbage.

Now, take a look at WWE's idea for NXT, it seems to be a response to that accusation, it's the Iron Survivor Challenge. And I'll let you take a look at the rules so you can get an idea of what it's about.

From the look of things, they stole IMPACT Wrestling's King of The Mountain match concept, they stole it!

Is this a response to Max The Impaler's accusation? I wouldn't be surprised if it was a shot fired because ever since Vince McMahon stepped down and retired during the Hush Money Scandal, it hasn't been any better.

Now hold on, let's get back to the current situation.

From the look of things, WWE's been caught with their pants down and they haven't apologized for it.

And let me ask you guys this, do you think WWE should stop stealing ideas and try to come up with something of their own?

And to make things more simpler, you can take a gimmick that looks all cool and charismatic, make it really popular, but then someone has a gimmick that's entirely the same, does that make the gimmick any different?

I feel like WWE's been scrutinizing and stealing from their competition for decades, thinking they can get away with it. You can't keep stealing from different companies because that's gonna put them out of business.

Look at ECW and WCW, they've managed to stand on their own and make themselves big, but WWE said, "Uh, no, ECW and WCW. You're not allowed to be as huge as us, so we're gonna buy you both out!" That's literally what happened, in my perspective.

The same can be said for the NXT Iron Survivor Challenge and IMPACT Wrestling's King of The Mountain match because at this point, I get it, it's supposed to be interesting and try to keep the fans invested, but stealing a match concept that another company already did, I do not understand. It's like Joe Pesci being casted in a mob movie as a bartender, there's no reason to do that.

I mean, I did a fair share of stealing myself, but do I apologize for it? Absolutely. I always say "I'm sorry". I was taught growing up, if you make a mistake, be a man, and you fix it. I always do that, but when it comes to a business perspective, you gotta come up with something different rather than steal something that's already been done.

I just think WWE never apologized for stealing anything and never respond to accusations like this.

So basically, WWE's response to the Max The Impaler scandal it's, "Oh, an indie wrestler's accusing us of something!" "Yeah, we gotta come up with a response!" "I know, let's apologize and steal TNA's King of The Mountain ladder match and call it something different!"

THEY'RE FRAUDS! THEY'RE FAKE! That's what the company is.

I'm really sorry for the outburst and I really hate this kind of BS that happens on a daily basis.

The whole point of this was that I'm not defending WWE nor defending other companies. I just want to enjoy wrestling, but stealing ideas from different companies havs to die or it'll be the downfall of wrestling.

If this makes any sense to you guys, please let me know and try to understand something, if stealing from companies is being done on the reg, then what's the point of being a fan of wrestling?

I'll leave it up to you guys. See you later.
