"Why are there criminals in my house?" Artemis glare as the lights were on seeing lance and Keith in her kitchen.

"Oh so you did end up getting together," Keith looked at her amused.

"Red," she stated darkly.

"Just having a chat, we were just leaving," lance sent wally a glare as the red head pursed his lips.

"Your suppose to be in prison," artemis scoffed.

"They let us out for being nice," lance smiled at her smugly and Keith pursed his lips hiding his smile.

"What do you want?" Artemis crossed her arms seeing there was more.

"Artemis don't," wally sent her a warning but Artemis didn't back down.

"Tell me," she hummed walking up to lance not afraid of him.

Lance looked back at keith and the shorter man nodded getting down.

"As you should be aware, I'm galra, an alien species that have been at war in space for centuries," Keith crossed his arms standing next to lance.

"The galra isn't known as a loving gentle species, we have stronger hormones that can give off radiating scenes of any sign of weakness, physical compassion is one," he explained looking at them.

"So when lance and I were able to actually be more... physical with each other in our relationship, I released hormones to give away my location, the old fashion way of galra tracking," he sighed rolling his eyes.

"What kind of physical compassion?" Wally made a face.

"Kissing would've been enough, we kept our relationship a secret because of the risk it could've put Keith in," lance told him and gently slipped his hand into Keith's, giving him a squeeze.

"Then why do you need us?" Artemis asked confused.

"The galra found me, my mother was a secret spy of the galra empire and I was a child soldier, they found out she is a traitor and I escaped almost ten years ago," Keith squeezed Lances hand tighter as he looked at her.

"If the galra come to earth, everyone will die, this planet will not win a battle with the galra," he told her sternly.

"How bad could the galra be?" Wally snorted.

"Their cruiser ships are as big as cities, they have enslaved over half of the universe and killed off multiple species, I'm guessing you don't want humans to add to that list," Keith smiled sarcastically.

They were all silent as Artemis looked at wally and he shook his head.

"You'll need Megan too if your rounding some people up," Artemis shrugged. "She's a Martian, she knows space too,"

"Do you know where the rest of our team went? What happened to them after we were locked up?" Lance asked crossing his arms.

"Voltron hasn't been a threat since, I know green and yellow are still partners and fuck with batman the most, bats and them have had a rivalry, mostly green," Artemis pursed her lips as Wally closed his eyes disappointed he was getting themselves involved with this.

"Sounds about right, pink and black?" Keith asked now.

"No ones heard from them in almost three years, like they disappeared," wally looked at him calmly and Keith inhaled sharply.

"The two people we needed most, great," Keith growled a little.

"We'll go find hunk and pidge first, we need everyone," Lance looked at him softly.

"Don't tell anyone we're out, we don't need the league on our ass for this," he looked back at them and Artemis looked like she wanted more.

"Keep us updated then, we'll help but once it's over then it's over, we're not going back into the hero business still, no league, no nothing," Artemis warned and wrote down her and Wally's number and handed it to lance.

"Deal, we didn't mean any harm," lance nodded smirking.

"Keep it that way blue," she narrowed her eyes.

"They're going to rat us out," Keith pursed his lips as lance was in a car trying to Hotwire it.

"That's why we kill them if they do," lance replied as he kept his back to Keith and focused on the car.

"But we know where we go if they do, just back to our kingdom," he smirked as the car started and stood back up next to Keith.

"I won't let anything happen to you," he held the side of his face as keith frowned looking at him.

"I don't need protecting, it'll be harder to fight the galra when we're behind bars," Keith pushed his hand away and turned, but lance grabbed his wrist and turned him back.

"I know you don't need protecting," lance held his wrist and brought his hand up, slipping his fingers under keiths palm and kissed it gently.

"But you'll always need a partner to have your back amor," he smiled down at him.

Keith softened looking at him and felt lance guide him by the hand to the other side of the door, lance opened the passengers door for Keith and let him in.

"Such a gentleman," Keith teased and lance closed the door for him.

"Only for you babe," lance jumped over the hood of the car to the drivers side and hopped in.

"So where do we go first?" Keith asked leaning back as lance figured out the controls of the car. He technically didn't know how... 

"Gotham, Pidge and hunk seem like they're there often," lance nodded putting the car into drive.
