3rd person pov

Rushing out a door the small group of four headed into the docks where they saw a few airships. Beginning to go towards it a crowd of guards ran out, blocking their way which made Fasha stick her hand out.

A blast of energy shot out, creating a small explosion and clearing the way so they hurried towards one. Stopping outside an airship the door opened, allowing them inside.

Mercury and Emerald went into the cockpit, starting up the engines which made a quiet hum become audible. As the airship began to move more guards came out, aiming their weapons.

Copying what Fasha did, Y/N looked to his hand and tried to focus, thrusting his hand forward, a smalled green energy blast firing out it, creating a cloud of smoke, allowing them to escape.

The gull wing door closed as the teen stepped back, sitting down while looking to his hands in confusion, wondering how he did that. Hearing footsteps he looked up, seeing Fasha.

Fasha: Tell me, kid, have you got control over your anger?

Y/N: I-It's hard to say. I haven't tried much, i don't want to lose it again

Fasha: Sometimes you gotta. If you want to protect people, you might have to self sacrifice

Emerald: Hey! No one's sacrificing themselves!

Rolling her eyes Fasha sat down, crossing her arms and legs, trying to rest as they got out of Atlas and flew out their air zone. However she felt the earrings in her pockets, so she took them out.

The woman looked at them curiously, holding them higher so the light could reflect off them to allow her to get a better view. She then lowered them, putting the earrings on to see if there was anything special about them.

Mercury: Who'd you grab them anyway?

Fasha: He showed them to me, and they were in a special container so i thought they'd be of some use. When the alarms went off i nabbed them and ran

Emerald: Did Ironwood say anything about them?

Fasha: Said they were powerful when used right, and that's it... this was a bust

She took them off and pocketed the earrings, trying to relax once more as the two in the cockpit began to fly to Salem's domain whoever the radio began to crackle, confusing them.

Looking to it Emerald picked it up and glanced over to Mercury who just shrugged his shoulders. She sighed and pressed a button on the side, thinking of what she should say.

Emerald: ...Yeah?

Radio: We know you're in that airship. Just give up and land now, so you can come peacefully

Mercury: Hey, i recognize that voice, it's blondie!

Radio: How's your leg?

Mercury: Fine. How's your pride?

Sounds of frustration could be heard coming over the radio which made him chuckle as Y/N got up, walking over to the entrance of the cockpit and holding onto the door frame.

Radio: I don't want you, i want Y/N

Emerald: Hear that? You've got an admirer

Y/N: I'll go with you. But you have to beat me

Radio: Trust me, i'll do it easily. I sent you somewhere to land so we can do this

They glanced to the teen who just nodded. Rolling her eyes Emerald took over controls and began to go towards the meeting spot while Y/N sat down in the back, looking down to his feet.

Looking to him Fasha sighed quietly before going over to him, sitting beside him and patting his shoulder which caused the teen go look to her. She just handed the earrings to him and gestured for him to put them on.

He did so, finding it a bit hard as he hadn't had his ears pierced so Y/N quietly winced as he fitted them properly. After finishing he waited, the airship soon landing and the gull wing doors opening

Stepping out he watched the other airship land, spotting someone move out from the cockpit before a bright light came from it for a moment. The doors opened revealing a woman in the fusion outfit with blonde hair and black parts with red tips along the side.

Mercury: Looks like blondie wasn't alone. Brought her sister with her

Emerald: Guess she needs every advantage she can get

?: I've got thirty minutes, but that will be more then enough

For some reason her voice wasn't a mix, like the other fusions, symbolizing that Yang had control of this fusion as she was the dominant personality. Letting out a breath Y/N stepped forward.

Yuby: You ready for me?
(A/N Fusion name, dumb, i know)

Fasha: Remember, Y/N. Your rage isn't who you are

He glanced back to her and nodded before the fusion snapped forward, driving her fist into his face and tossing him to the side. She dashed after him and shot her knee up, driving it into his back.

His face contorted in pain before she grabbed him by the foot and swung the teen around her head, soon throwing him through a series of trees which all snapped in two in succession.

When everything stopped as she dusted off her hands they looked to see a broken tree being moved as Y/N climbed to his feet, wiping his mouth before his eyes flashed yellow.

The fusion smirked and rushed towards him, throwing a hard right as her eyes turned red upon using Yang's semblance. Y/N managed catch it with both hands and pulled her towards him.

He let go of her hand and shot a fist towards her stomach but she raised a knee to block it and swiftly lifted her arms above her head, going to bring it down on his head but the teen opened his palm.

A green ball of energy sat inside it as he shoved his hand at her face, creating a small explosion which made her stumble back. Taking the opportunity Y/N gritted his teeth, and pulled back his arm, extending his other one.

He quickly clotheslined Yuby, running her through a handful of trees before a smirk appeared on her face and her hair seemed to begin to burn while she fell backwards, catching herself with her hands.

The fusion shot her feet into Y/N's chest, the teen getting the wind knocked out of him. Soon after she spun on her hands and kicked him across the face, sending him back to where thet started.

However she used Ruby's semblance and caught up with him only to be met by a familiar sight. Y/N had caught himself and began to stand up right, his hair starting to spike up as his body increased in mass.

A green aura flickered around the teen but his hair didn't stay black for long as it quickly turned gold while he appeared in front of her, the two tackling as the fusion growled in frustration.

She shot her knee up, knocking Y/N's head back but he forced it back down and lifted her above his head easily, letting go for a brief moment as he fell back and kicked his foot into her stomach, throwing her into the air.

As she began to fall Fasha took notice of Y/N's steadily decreasing body mass, his eyes remaining yellow. Pulling back his fist the teen threw it up when Yuby came back down and grabbed her by the throat.

Letting out a yell he spun around and slammed her into the ground, fracturing it and breaking her aura, causing the fusion to split and leaving Ruby and Yang laying in the crater.

Y/N soon went back to normal and took a few steps back before passing out, causing Fasha to come over and catch him. She walked towards the airship as Mercury and Emerald followed.

The doors closed and it soon took off, Fasha laying the teen down and looking to him with a faint, proud smile. Sitting on a seat she kept watch on him while they left the sight.

Mercury: Y'know, he seemed alot more in control there. Could it be the earrings?

Fasha: No, they... they're for something else, i can feel it

Emerald: Fine, let me ask a question, one i wanted to know for a while. Who the hell are you really?

Fasha: Suppose it's time i told someone. I'm Y/N's mother
