3rd POV
The sun set as Salem and Aego went inside the cave where Y/N was sleeping, trying to bring all of his strength back.
Salem: Night Aego.
Aego: night Salem.
The two fell asleep as Y/N turned around to make sure. He quickly got out of his bed and moved silently as he left the cave to see God-Shinkah. The winged kaiju looked down at Y/N.
Y/N: don't say a word.
The kaiju rolled its eyes as it walked to the side and went to sleep next to the cave. Y/N then walked to a tree and pulled off his shirt. He breathed in heavily and let it out heavily as he went to the ground and started doing push-ups, doing 100 a minute. He's been doing this everynignt for 3 hours for about 8 months.
After 5 minutes of push ups he went to hits backs to do sit ups.
Meanwhile
Manda swam through the waters swiftly to avoid any attention. It went to an island where it transformed back into Amanda.
Gan: see anything out there?
Amanda: No....the kaiju have been dwindling because of them.
Gan: maybe we should find Y/N, I mean, he worked for them for as long as he's lived.
Amanda: No! We offered him back and he declined, we can do without him!
Gan: yet he's the main reason the kaiju stopped going extinct. Drop your pride and go talk to him.
Amanda: it's going to be like this.
"Hey Y/N, we need your help"
*deep voice* "No"
Gan: just try, I'll go with you.
Amanda: I'm sorry but you need to remain here, your flying will alert them of our location.
Gan: *sigh* alright....Amanda.
Amanda: yes?
Gan: don't give up too easy, you know how stubborn he is.
Amanda: who doesn't?
She transformed back into a kaiju and dived into the water, swimming to try and find Y/N.
Back at the Island
Y/N was in a massive sweat as he was doing pulls ups on the strongest branch of the island's tree. Droplets were falling from his body every time he pulled himself up. Salem woke up and slowly walked to the front of the cave after seeing that Y/N wasn't in his bed. She peaked out to see him working out, to her surprise.
Salem: what....what is he doing?
Everything then clicked.
Salem: this is why he sleeps almost all day.
The water on the north side of the island began to bubble as a blue haired female walked onto the land.
Amanda: Y/N L/N!
The booming voice woke up Aego as he looked around.
Aego: what's going on?
Salem: stay quiet....there's a woman here looking for your father.
Aego: what?
Y/N went off the tree and turned around to see Amanda standing there.
Y/N: look I know I killed three last year, and I can honestly say I don't care.
Amanda: that's not why I'm here Y/N....what are you doing?
Y/N: I was working out.
Amanda: only humans do that.
Y/N: well I'm part human and part kaiju thanks to the Gods.
Amanda: yet you look exactly the same as you did 14 years ago.
Y/N: why are you here? I know it can't be trying to lower morale because your very presence does that.
Amanda: the kaiju numbers are dwindling
Y/N. Your gods have been collecting them for something.
Y/N: I don't know anything about it. After they killed me all I want now is revenge.
Amanda: excuse me? You were killed?
Y/N: yeah, I was resurrected by Salem over there.
He pointed at Salem who was hiding with Aego by the entrance of the cave.
Amanda: Yeah....on the side, can you help us save the Kaiju?
Y/N: I'm not ready to face them.
Amanda: Y/N, you've always been stubborn, but this is a depressing kind of stubborn. As much as it pains me to say it you're the only one who would even have a chance against them. They gave you the power.
Y/N: if I fail Ruby will die!
Amanda: she'll die the moment they get bored of her being their little play thing.
Y/N: you shut your damn mouth!
Amanda: you know I'm right! So what are you going to do? Are you going to stand up and fight or are you going to hide away because you're afraid of taking a chance?
Y/N remained silent as Aego and Salem watched, waiting for whatever he has to say.
Y/N: be ready in one week.
