My eyes widened as I realized what just happened. I pushed Yoongi away and sprinted to the kitchen. I turned the stove off and wore the oven gloves to take the now-burnt cake. I frowned at the sight of it. I really wanted to eat this cake.
"Not the cake!" Yoongi yelled as he ran in after me.
"It's the cake." I sighed. "What a waste."
"But I was hungry."
"Well, if someone hadn't tried kissing me, we could've been enjoying this cake."
"No way! If you hadn't kissed me back, we could've been eating this."
"Whatever." I mumbled. I threw the burnt cake in the garbage and looked towards my boyfriend. "Do you want take out?"
"Fuck yes."
"Great, pizza it is." I laughed as I called up the pizza place from the home phone. I had to go through so many questions just so they know it's actually my place they're delivering to. They had my phone number saved but this home phone wasn't so that was a pain in the ass. I hung up. "It'll be here in forty five minutes."
"Great, want a round two?" He smirked, pulling me closer by my waist.
"No." I laughed, pushing him away.
"Suit yourself, don't come back begging for a kiss as heated as the one we just had because I'm not giving it to you."
"I'm not as horny as you are, baby."
"You'll see how horny I can get if you keep calling me baby."
"Yoongi, I swear."
"Ice wear? More like fire wear because you are damn hot."
"I'm worried, what if you really are high?" I said. "Or wait, never mind, you're just plain stupid."
"And you're supposed to be my boyfriend here." He pouted.
"I am, that's why I'm saying you're stupid."
"Whatever." He rolled his eyes. "Right, I wanted to ask you something."
"Yeah?"
"Will you go to prom with me?" He smiled shyly, looking down.
"Of course, you dummy." I laughed and approached him to give him a big hug. He instantly responded and hugged me back, picking me up off the ground and spinning me around. "This is too high school musical, please put me down."
"That movie was the bomb dot com."
"Don't say that ever again or I'm declining your prom invite."
"Say what?"
"Exactly." I smiled.
Time passed and the pizza was already here. Yoongi and I put away the things on the coffee table and set the pizza box there. I admired it but that was soon ruined by a hungry Yoongi opening the box and ripping out a big slice.
"You disgust me."
"So does Chewbacca but you don't see me going around saying that, do you?" He smirked.
My jaw dropped and I hit him on the shoulder. "Fine then. No prom date for you."
"No, please. I don't wanna look like a loser."
"Say sorry."
"No." I raised an eyebrow. "Fine, sorry."
"There you go, was that hard?"
"I'll show you what's ha—" I couldn't take it anymore so I hit him in the balls. He bent over and his pizza slice fell on the floor. He groaned and clutched his private area.
"What hard thing? I don't think it exists anymore." I said as I took a bite out of my slice of pizza, smirking while Yoongi was in pain.

"Honey, you look wonderful." My mom said as she kissed my cheek.
"Thanks mom." I smiled at her.
I looked at myself one last time before going downstairs. I wasn't wearing anything too wow, it was just a black suit with a white dress shirt inside. I wore my tie and smiled at myself. At first, I was self-conscience but then my mom and Jungkook convinced me that I had nothing to worry about. The end result was fantastic.
Yoongi was downstairs, waiting by the door and conversing with my dad. I finally got there and he smiled at me.
"You look great." He leaned forward and kissed my forehead. When he pulled away, he gave me a bouquet of roses, which I hadn't seen him holding the whole time.
I blushed deeply as I took them from him.
"Here, give them to me and I'll put them in a vase for you." My mom said. I gave her the flowers and she stood there. "Before you go, you need to take a picture together."
"Mom." I whined.
"Come on, it's a night to remember." Yoongi whispered. I looked down and smiled. My mom held a camera in front of her and told us to pose in a cute way. Both Yoongi and I smiled widely and he took the picture.
"You look so cute!" My mom said as he showed my dad the photo. "Alright, you're all set to go. Now, don't lose your new phone, okay?"
"Okay." I nodded. "Bye mom, bye dad."
"Bye honey!" They both waved as I left the house, walking up to Yoongi's car.
**
"You ready?" Yoongi asked. I nodded and he led me towards the gym, where the prom was being held. He intertwined his fingers with mine as soon as we entered. The music hit me with a blast, the whole place was dim with lights all around. It looked really nice.
"Let's look for Jungkook and Jimin." I said.
"Okay."
We walked near the set up stage and found Jungkook there, talking to a girl. We approached her and he turned around. As soon as he saw us, he smiled. "Hoseok, Yoongi!"
"Jungkook!" I let go of Yoongi's hand and embraced Jungkook in a huge hug. "You look so good!"
"You look even better. So does Yoongi, for once." He whispered the last part which had me laughing.
"Where's Jimin?"
"He's getting us drinks." He said. "Actually, here he comes."
Yoongi and I turned around and saw Jimin walking to us with two drinks in his hands. He smiled at the sight of Yoongi and I. "Hey guys!"
"Hi!" I smiled. He handed Jungkook his drink.
"Do you want a drink too?" Yoongi asked me. I nodded and he walked off, looking for the punch.
"Hoseok, you have quite some votes for prom king and queen. And I swear, I did not do anything to cheat. The people love you." Jungkook laughed.
"Really? I'm surprised they'd vote for a nerd to be prom queen. If I were to vote, I'd vote for Chanyeol."
"Why him? He used to do all kinds of shit to you." Jimin said.
"That's before he realized how much of a bitch Baekhyun was. He apologized too, and he's pretty good looking."
"Right?" Jungkook nodded. Yoongi came back and handed me the drink. I took a sip and smiled. It tasted nice, pretty refreshing if I may add.
The fast music stopped and a slow song came on, Yoongi looked at me and pointed to the dance floor. I immediately shook my head and took another sip of my drink.
"No way in hell."
"What? Why?"
"I can't dance."
"Yes, you can."
"No, I can't."
"Come on, what's the point of coming to prom and not dancing?"
"I don't know? Enjoy being with your friends?"
"No, that's not the case for me."
"Oh come on."
"Just one dance." He pouted. I sighed and nodded. We set our cups on a nearby table as Yoongi pulled me to the center of everyone.
"Why in the middle?"
"I want to show everyone how lucky I am to have such a beautiful boyfriend."
"You're too cheesy." I mumbled as I surely turned as red as a tomato.
He put his hands on my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck. We slowly swayed together with the beat of the slow song. I smiled at him and leaned my head on his.
"You do know how to dance." He whispered, his breathe passing my ear, giving me goose bumps.
"It's not April fools yet."
"Hey, do you trust me?"
"Yeah, why?" I furrowed my eyebrows, looking up at him.
"Good, hold on tight." He bent forward and I thought I was going to fall backwards but he held me. It was a scary kind of dip. He leaned forward and kissed my forehead before helping me stand up straight.
"I hate you so much. I thought I was going to die."
"Oh, you're too dramatic. It was just a dip." He laughed. "And you love me."
"I do not." I said. "Well, not yet." I mumbled to myself but I think he heard it, though he decided to ignore it.
