"Mom, I think we have enough decorations."

"The more the merrier, right?" He winked. I just groaned.

We were buying Christmas decorations all in one day. We bought the tree an hour ago and the decorations now. Taking the tree back home was a pain in the ass because we had to carry it till the living room.

"Hey honey," My mom started, walking up to me. "Do you think I'll get a kiss from your dad if I hang this mistletoe under the hallway door?"

"Sure mom." I said. "You can get him to kiss you anytime though."

"You're right."

"I'm supposed to use this for myself."

"Why? You don't have a boyfriend, do you?"

"Yes, I do." I smirked.

"Oh my god! Who is he? Is he cute?" He smiled at me, shaking my shoulder.

"His name is Vernon." Cough. "Choi."

"Who the hell names their kid Choi?" He furrowed her eyebrows.

"Mom, that's his last name."

"You could've said Choi Vernon not the opposite."

"I apologize." I laughed. He nodded.

"Vernon. He has an interesting name, doesn't he?"

"Yup, mom. He does." I shook my head and he paid for the decorations. "Why'd you buy the mistletoe?"

"For your Choi guy," He smiled at me. "I want to meet him."

"So do I."

"What?"

"What?" I looked at her.

"Let's just go home, yeah?" He said. I nodded and we carried the stuff to the car.

My mom drove back home and we spent two trips carrying the decorations to the living room. We were humans too, okay? Where was my dad, anyways? He's supposed to be here to help us.

Dad came walking down the stairs and started helping us set up for Christmas. This is going to be an exciting one because I made new friends. But it'll be sad because Jungkook won't be here. Christmas was only a few days away and I was already into the Christmas spirit. Drink every time I say Christmas. Christmas.

"It's been so long, right?" Jimin said, sitting on my couch.

He was at my house because my parents weren't here and I was bored. I would have called Yoongi but I'm mad at him at the moment so I crossed him out.

"Yeah, we haven't watched a movie in so long." I said. "What do you want to watch tonight?"

"I don't know, what do you have?"

"I have Netflix."

"Wanna Netflix and chill, baby?" He winked. I started blushing, obviously, as I looked down. "God, you look adorable when you blush." He laughed.

"Shut up," I rolled my eyes. "Do you want to watch a comedy or horror movie?"

"Do you get scared when watching horror movies?"

"No."

"Comedy it is."

"Alright," I started looking for Comedy movies and I finally settled on Dumb & Dumber.

"But this is so old!"

"It's the second one, you twat." I rolled my eyes.

"Hoe."

"Dick."

"Fucker."

"Cun-" My phone rang, cutting me off. I sighed and answered it. "What?"

"Could you be any ruder to your best friend?"

"Jungkook!" I jumped up with happiness. "It's so good to hear your voice."

"You sound like a sad boyfriend."

"I am one when it comes to you." I rolled my eyes.

"Well, what are you doing? I'm quite bored."

"I'm watching a movie with Jimin." As soon as I said that, I instantly lowered the volume, knowing what's coming next.

"Fuck him right in the a-" Jungkook yelled but I put the phone under the pillow so it sounded muffled.

"What did he say?" Jimin asked.

"He said have fun." I quickly answered. "I'll call you back!" I hung up on him and sighed. Sometimes my best friend was dangerous. Are all best friends like that? I bet Jungkook is the worst one of all.

"Right, so can we watch the movie?"

"Sure." I played the movie and we stared at the screen, waiting for it to start.

"You know, you face is still red." He smirked, poking my cheeks. That made me blush even more.

"Focus on the movie."

"Focus on me, focus." He sang. I hit his shoulder. "Ouch, you meanie."

"More like Wonwoo and Mingyu." I mumbled.

"Who?"

"Nobody, just watch the movie."

Throughout the whole movie, he kept poking my cheeks and my ribs. It was annoying but it still made me blush. I hated it. And worst of all, maybe best, he kept staring at me.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer."

"Were your eyes always that light?"

"What?"

"Your eyes. They always seem like a normal dark brown but right now, they're super light."

"I don't know how to respond to that."

"You don't have to. Just stay quiet." He smiled.

What was he doing? "Okay." I mumbled. The movie ended and we sat there in the dark. The TV screen was black and there was no light whatsoever.

"Now I can't see your eyes." He said. I laughed and pushed him away. "I don't want to leave yet."

"Well what do you want to do?"

"Wanna make waffles? Let's make waffles."

"Now you sound like Somi."

"She's secretly my mother." He whispered.

"The fuck?"

"It's true." I suppose he was nodding. "So, waffles?"

"Sure." I mumbled.

I turned on the light and he followed me to the kitchen. I didn't know if we had the waffle mix. Or the instant waffle thing. I don't even know the name of it. I put all the things we needed to make waffles on the counter and Jimin started mixing it.

"Do you know what you're doing?" I asked.

"Uh, yeah?"

"Alright. Don't burn down my kitchen, please."

"Trust me, I know what I'm doing."

**

"Yeah, trust me, I know what I'm doing." I mimicked him as I stared at the black waffles in front of me.

"It wasn't my fault! I got carried away."

"How? How can you not focus on the waffles? Did you not smell the burning smell?"

"I was looking around, okay?" He said, looking at something behind me.

I turned around and my eyes widened. The mistletoe was hanging right there. On the kitchen door. Not the hallway door.

"Oh." I mumbled. I took the burnt waffles and threw them away.

Why was he staring at the mistletoe?

"I guess cooking is not for me." He chuckled. "I better get going then."

"Okay."

We passed under the mistletoe and walked to the front door. I couldn't look at him in the eye. It was too awkward. He was about to leave but I stopped him.

"Wait!"

"Yeah?" He looked at me.

I didn't say anything. I just walked forward and embarrassed myself.

I kissed him.

I then pushed him out and locked the door.

"Fuck." I mumbled. "What did I just do?"

**

"Hoseok! Open up, come on!" It's been five minutes and he's been knocking on my door ever since I pushed him out. "We need to talk about what just happened!"

I was standing on the other side of the door, just listening to what he was saying. I couldn't let him in. I don't even know what I just did.

My phone rang and I looked at it. It was him, no doubt. I ended the call and heard him sigh in frustration.

"Hoseok, why did you kiss me?" He asked. No answer. "Do you like me?"

"No."

"Then why did you kiss me?" I said nothing. "Hoseok, come on! Answer me!"

"I like you, okay?!" I yelled. "Is it that bad?!" He stayed silent at my outburst. I didn't want to know if his feelings were mutual. But I needed to.

"You like me?"

"Yes, I like you, Jimin."

"Oh."

"But I need to know if-"

"I don't." He cut me off. "I don't like you that way, Hoseok." Oh, he doesn't. I knew it. "I don't see you as more than a friend."

"Then who is it?" I asked. "Who do you like?"

"You don't want to-"

"I do."

"Jungkook." My heart dropped. "I like Jungkook." He mumbled.
