HEY GUYS!!!

first things first, I want to say sorry for not uploading this as much as I do others.

Writers block is a bitch.

But now I have finally uploaded :D *bows*

The next chapter will be really soon as I have finally come up with something to write. So, hopefully that will be up either tomorrow or the day after (Eastern Standard time ... I think thats what Australia is :D <-- thats so sad that i dont know)

Chapter 3: Sleep Stalker

If only I could add her beautiful smile and cute laugh in my ‘likes.’

Kai’s POV:

Kakashi and I talked a lot that night. I felt as if we’d been doing this for years. He was so easy to talk to. Our convocation was stopped as soon as I yawned.

“You should really get some sleep.” Kakashi suggested.

“But-“

“I’ll watch guard. You get some rest.” He insisted with a closed eye smile.

“I can’t just leave you alone.” I said

“We can always swap.”

“Okay...” I said hesitantly

“Here, say I wake you up in four hours?” Kakashi reasoned.

“Um...” I said pondering the idea. “Make it three?”

“Fine three, deal?” He said sticking out his hand for me to shake.

I giggled “Deal.” I shook his hand showing him a grateful smile.

Kakashi’s POV:

Three hours had past since I had sent Kai off to bed. She looked exhausted and she would need that strength for the journey especially if we run into Akatsuki, after all Hokage did say they were after the scroll.

I walked into the tent only to be stopped. My eyes had landed there sights on her sweet innocence face. She looked so at peace I couldn't bring myself to wake her but instead I just wanted to watch. My eyes were glued to her adorable features, like some type of hypnotism, as she slept on soundly. Her brown hair cascaded down framing not only her face but her sleeping figure.

As I silently sat next to Kai's sleeping figure she stirred a little in her sleep turning now to faced me. For some stupid reason, I stretched out my arm grazed my hand over her cheek. Her skin was soft which only make me smile. ‘She so…-’ I was quickly snapped out of my thoughts as she snuggled into my hand. I silent sigh of relief left my lips that was a close one. 

I’ll leave her to sleep, she will need it anyway. I got up and walked out of the tent, but not before turning to take one last look at her.

Kai's POV:

That morning I woke to rays of light that beamed through the tent, hit me in the face. Yawning, I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. Then it hit me.

Sun...? Tent... Morning... Kakashi…!!

"Kakashi!" I yelled running out of the tent. Still slipping on my shoes I ran out jumping, almost tripping on my feet. Kakashi was sitting reading on a log that sat outside. Once he noticed me he smiled that closed eye (s) smile of his.

“Morning sleepy head."

"Kakashi, you didn't wake me up." 

"Oh sorry." I sighed and dropped into the seat beside him. ‘Oh sorry… seriously?’ mentally laughing at his response.

"You should have woken me Kakashi." I said worry dripping from every sentence.

"I'm fine." he said putting his book away into his ninja pouch.

"Still..."

"It's sweet of you to worry, but I'm fine." He put his hand on mine. "Trust me."

"Now." He said as he lifted himself up. "We better get a move on." I bit my lower lip, I still think this is going to come back and bit us in the butt.

We had packed our belongings and we started on our way to the Sand. I had the strangest feeling as if were being followed, I looked at Kakashi to see if he felt it too but he just continued walking without a care in the world.

“Kakashi...”

“Yeah, I know.” I mentally sighed in relief and continued to walk as if nothing happened but in reality I had my guard up and I was on the look out. I felt two chakra presences getting closer to us. It was not long before our road was blocked by two strange looking men in black coats with red clouds. The Akatsuki had finally arrived.

and I'll leave it there. I know its quite short but as i said ealier the next chapter will be up tomorrow or the next day *fingers crossed*
