Week One Results (19/06/21)
Oh look! We're posting results early! ;)
Another week all set! This one has been a tough one to mass through, but we hope you've all enjoyed this week! We certainly had some very intriguing entries this week from lots of the teams! We hoped it had challenged you, or made you learn something new in any way!

This has been a very difficult round to judge. We feel we have grown attached to everyone's entries in some way, and hearing from you, but unfortunately we have to let some people go. As the weeks go by and we approach the finale, we will be devastated to be letting so many people go, but we do hope everyone here no matter what rank they stood will have gained some experience from Wraphic! Thank you for giving us a chance!
Before we mention who we are losing this Wraphic, if you are unsure as to where you stand in this competition, the scoreboards should be reposted soon after this chapter with updated scores! We would also like to mention that we do have everyone's reviews ready, and if you want a review from this week, please come forward in our DMS!

We are absolutely devastated to have to let our first batch of participants go so soon, but these eliminations these week were purely based on activity, lack of submissions, and lack of points. Throughout the rounds, we beg it is very crucial to hand in work if possible, and if you cannot then the ticket pass is available to use up to two times during this competition.
We'd like to thank these participants and teams for their time during Wraphic 2021, and we will miss you greatly!

MIDNIGHT CHASE — Team 25 (Zelora)

"It was such a welcoming sight, appearing like magic. There were times in the daytime, under skies of blue, I would think of those distant stars and how they'd return after the clouds blended into the dusk. At times I would remember my parents, and the unnatural death they died. If a stray bullet could hit my mother right in her heart while she was preparing dinner and my father could get hit by a car while crossing the road to get to his car, then anything could happen.
Humans could fly, animals could talk, I could be wanted by vampires."

"The kindness Vince had earlier shown her was genuine; but this sudden urge to leap at her and devour her alive was genuine, too.
Adelia suddenly wondered why her luck was so rotten; she evaded four werewolves with all the might she could muster only to be lured to sleep by one, who was most likely going to eat her.
What she hated most was that while almost asleep, she'd felt the safest she ever had in the presence of any man. And that very man who she so foolishly trusted was going to be the death of her.
Swallowing hard, she could almost *see* Vince looking at her through those golden eyes, inquiring about her wound with genuine concern."

"We're mates, Adelia", he grinned darkly. "I know what you will do before you do it".
Adelia stared back in shock. He was as handsome as ever, so handsome her heart hurt. He had thick black hair, locks tumbling onto his forehead, with dark piercing eyes that stared into her soul. He wore his usual trousers and a shirt with the sleeves rolled up, something that made her heart beat in a wild frenzy.
"Come here, my love", he murmured encouragingly.
"And be touched by those blood stained hands?" Adelia spat as she snapped out of her trance. "I'd rather not!"

VAMPIRUS: A VIRAL BITE - Team 8

"A-Adam?" I stuttered, eyeing him and then the hand he held out. Scars covered them, but it was still the warm hands that always caressed my cheeks or my hair whenever we lazed about.
"Adelia."
His monotone voice carried an edge to it. Lifeless and craving more fresh blood. Gone was the innocent and soothing man I knew. Gone were the carefree laughters, the sweetest kisses and the warmest embrace. They all vanished within a beast bound by the moonlight.
I scooted back. The rain masked the tears breaking from shock. Of all the people in the world- the cheap, the selfish, the greedy and the utmost evil, why did that damn virus have to claim Adam too? Why!"
