about a week or two later Satan was still recovering from everything and doing well and was still at Barbatos's vacation house.

He still didn't want to go home and was still deciding what he wanted to do.

Anyway while he was at the house he was walking around with his baby trying to get it to stop crying but no matter what he did nothing work.

Then Barbatos walked over with Lucifer behind him and suddenly Xiao stop crying.

Satan : ok so now Your playing favorite? I made you not him...."

Barbatos : ....is everything alright?"

Satan : it doesn't like me. I didn't even give it a reason to hate me yet...."

Barbatos : if your stress out he's going to feel the same you just need time. I'm sure he doesn't hate you "

Satan : i blame you Lucifer this is your fault"

Lucifer  : how?"

Satan : you gave me life?"

Lucifer : ......"

After this Satan walked away and Lucifer then looked at Barbatos and said.

Lucifer : ....why did he ask you to help him raise his son?"

Barbatos : because he thought i would be good having around Xiao and could help him.

But i wonder if there's another reason."

Lucifer : why did you accept so easily?"

Barbatos : the request is big but i understand why he ask. It wouldn't be the first time this was ask of me either."

Lucifer : Diavolo's mother?"

Barbatos : Yes Before Diavolo's mother pass she asked a similar thing.

Even thought i am the  butler and it's my duty to care for the royal family

She Ask me to take care of Diavolo watch him and help raise him as if he was my own.

She Ask that because she  knew she would never get the chance to be a mother. and wanted him to have the love and care she wouldn't be able to give him and that he might not get from his father....."

Lucifer : you think Satan asked you for a similar reason?"

Barbatos : With Satan i suspect he ask because he doesn't think he can be a good father and thinks with having me around his son will get what he thinks he can't give."

Lucifer : ....you can read people well...."

Barbatos : i don't see why he thinks that. he's proven he will be great and seem very excited about his son....even if that was reading him how to torture 101....."

Lucifer : ....he never had the best example....."

Barbatos : don't be hard on yourself you can still do better and be a great grandfather"

Lucifer : ......the shirt..,... eventually I'll have to wear it...."

Barbatos : it can't be that bad?"

Barbatos. : He added things now it's an entire outfit...."

Barbatos : oh dear...."

Later Barbatos was taking care of Xiao as Satan was resting and during this Satan woke up and decided to go see how Barbatos and Xiao were doing.

And as he walked over to the living room found Barbatos holding him while walking around and talking to him.

Barbatos : I know you probably aren't feeling that well neither is your father. You both been through so much.

But I know you'll both be happy and it's quite reliving to know you both will be.

I should at least feel some guilt for what I did.

Killing an angel was the only way to mak e the cure. Doing so I could of risk destroying the peace between both sides and causing chaos. It was reckless and something I wouldn't suggest you do unless it's a last resort"

Barbatos then just looked at Xiao and said watching him fall asleep.

Barbatos : I don't regret what I did....."

Barbatos couldn't understand why he felt so strongly about protecting them both.

It was more then feeling guilty for not Being able to save Diavolo's mother but he. Couldn't put his finger on it.

Barbatos : this will stay a secret between us right?"

Xiao made a little noise which Barbatos took as a yes.

Barbatos : tomorrow I have a Surprised for you and your father to help him hopefully he'll take it"

Satan couldn't believe what he heard. He couldn't believe Barbatos of all Demons would do something like this just for them.

Barbatos chose to save them and take the risk with no hesitation or care for what happened. He put everything second for them.

for the first time Satan felt like he was put first. like he was the first priority to someone. And it felt nice and also familiar.

Anyway he then walked away covering his face that was blushing from embarrassment.
