Keir can be a bit confusing to fully pinpoint. He has the ability to actively lead and command those in his branch of the coven but he actively avoids all others. Keir, when it comes to other vampires is an extreme follower. He often bows or cowers to those of other high ranks but again, he avoids them at all costs.
When it comes to species outside of his own things play out pretty similar. He is terrified of werewolves and when encountering any he often grovels at any sign of possible attack. With regular humans he tends to be more kind to as they are his main source of food and the one thing that keeps him alive.
Aside from his encounters with others, Kier is a very gentle soul. He adores reading and learning but finds himself too antisocial and scared to really go and learn. He has very little friends and those he does talk to are more so his lesser ranked members of his coven branch. When Keir isn't so fearful of things he can be extremely adventurous and smiley.

╰┈➤OVERALL BACKGROUND
Kier was born in the year 1814 and overall he had a pretty normal childhood. He had a loving mother and father and a few other siblings. Things were great, truthfully. Kier never knew a night without a missed meal, never worried about being cold during winters, and his family sat on a more wealthy side. Things were great.
When Kier was eighteen he was set on becoming a lawyer but things weren't always so great. At the age of eighteen Kier developed oral cancer, though at the time he thought nothing of it. In the next few years cancer spread through most of his body and he developed an illness called Cachexia. Cachexia caused his body weight to plummet but it never stopped his desires to live and find a way to keep living.
In 1836 he happened to meet a vampire who offered him the life of no disease and illness, which of course Kier accepted. Yet, his body partly rejected the vampirism while also taking it. Because of this Kier did become a vampire but his cancer and Cachexia never truly healed. Soon, the vampire who changed him introduced himself as the original Gatherer to Scarlet Kiss. The elder vampire offered Kier this position simply because he would have more access to fresh healthy blood so that his cancerous symptoms could be held at bay for the most part.

╰┈➤HOUSING/LIVING SITUATION
Kier lives in the lowest part of the Coven within the Bloodbank. He remains here almost all of the time unless he chooses to go to the surface.

Kier is The Gatherer which means he is in charge of the Bloodbank and the distribution of humans and their blood. He also is in charge of his entire 'branch' of the coven and he sends out his branch members to go find willing humans.

╰┈➤GIFTS/WEAKNESSES
•Kier is extremely weak to all normal vampire weaknesses: Sunlight, iron, etc. He cannot be introduced to any of these things or he will quite literally die. His immune system struggles to fight off introductions of these things.

•Kier doesn't have enhanced strength or speed but his natural senses are extremely amplified. It's extremely hard to actually sneak up on him.

•Kier technically still has cancer which has its obvious disadvantages. He is usually very tired and does require actual sleep unlike a lot of vampires.

╰┈➤Kier's facial scaring is from his own doing. Due to his many years as a vampire and the consistent pain of his cancer he has picked and torn at his skin, mostly his mouth, and has trouble really stopping. Some of the scars came out of pure anger as to why his body refused to heal.
