Matvei was born and raised to be fierce, powerful, and considerably unholy. He fits all of these categories. Matvei is extremely ruthless and though he is not all powerful, or the most powerful, he holds what he has in horrific ways. Matvei holds himself well enough to bypass his own Clan laws of not giving in to bloodlust. Behind the secure doors of his fortress Matvei doesn't hold back on that kind of lust at all.
Matvei is an extremely violent individual and tends to murder for the sake of his own enjoyment. He is obsessed with torture, with the pain of others, and overall it makes him test the limits of different species.
Though to those who meet him is a very smooth individual, very smooth. He is someone who seeks allies over enemies but if you are an enemy, so be it. You're on his list.
When it comes to lovers, he has many to which vary in his responses. Some lovers are treated like godly beings while others are used in forms of violence or harm. It all depends on what he wants to offer.

Matvei was born in the year 1631 and he was named after his father to be a second. When Matvei (II) was born it was rumored that he would be the next Vandruvan Emperor but with women being the main rulers his father stepped down from the family line and vanished from all sights of the Vandruvan empire.
For his life, Matvei (II) was well taken care of and taught the ways of his family while also not growing bitter that he wasn't pronounced king. As time passed and years passed, Matvei stopped aging in the year 1662 leaving him immortal at the age of 31. From that point on he and his father decided together they would begin their own coven and name it Druvanei, a mix of their first and last name though different to separate from the Vandruvan empire.
In the years where Lilith was born, and eventually ruled, their coven was not yet set. The father and son duo didn't fully make a coven, or "clan" as they preferred to call it until 1711. Originally it was a safe haven for survivors of Lilith's genocide but was disbanded in Russia and reformed in the New World that eventually became the United States. In 1716 the new and much more improved Druvanei Clan was formed and in 1736 Matvei (I) perished at the hands of his own son for breaking a law that was established.
In 1736 Matvei (II) became Lord of his Clan and rules even in modern day.

•Daywalking- Matvei has the ability to walk in the daylight but only for a few number of hours. The longer he is out in the sun the weaker his ability becomes.

•Anticogulant Saliva- This ability is considered Matvei's "special" ability given to him when he reached his vampire-hood. This ability gives him the power to thin blood through his saliva and remove most of the body's ability to clot blood. This can only be done through a bite. This also causes wounds of fast healers, even other vampires, to heal much slower than they usually would.

•Matvei, like most vampires, has severe reactions to iron. This can severely burn his flesh and can even cause his skin to erupt in flames upon contact.

•Matvei also has a weakness to werewolf venom. It can cause him to go into severe pain which leads to hibernation for several months to heal.

╰┈➤Matvei breaks many of his own Clan laws but does it so well he has yet to actually get caught. He has fed from other vampires, hybrids, and those of vampiric bloodlines. He also has many many hybrid children to which he would murder if they showed up. One day, when he finds an heir he will more than likely confess his "crimes" and allow his heir to either banish him or take his life.

╰┈➤Matvei has a total of seventeen biological children, eight of which are vampires within his Clan. The rest of his children are off in the world with no (as far as he knows) knowledge of who he is.

╰┈➤Aside from biological children, Matvei has made a numerous amount of vampires. He does not count how many he's made let alone how many has survived through the years.

Matvei Vandruva (I) was the middle child in Gen 3 of the Vandruvan family. His older sister was Ophelia (I) and his younger sister was Margaret. He was the biological uncle to Lilith Vandruva and Drayke Cornova.
Matvei's year of death is not written down, officially, but he died in 1736 for breaking a law of feeding on those of vampiric blood. His son, Matvei (II) executed him publicly via bleed out and starvation as punishment.
