Chapter 13: The Big Players
(The Title refers to TK!Abyss, TK!Dream, TK!Glitch (An Error), TK!Lag (A different Error), TK!Ink (Imprint), TK!Night (Uncorrupted, obvs), TK!Nightmare (Yes the goopy boi is different from Night, so this is complicated), TK!Fresh, TK the regular boi, TK!Reaper, and TK!Shattered Dream. (Some honorary inclusions that might make an appearance now or might join in a second chapter: Cursed TK, TK!Blue, TK!Stretch/Carrot, TK!Cross, TK!Epic, TK!Fell, TK!Ganz, TK!Lust, and TK!Asy
This chapter will be significantly longer than normal and as my last chapter requested, I would like if you guys could help me with identifying the original creators of the characters/the artists or creators of the TK characters.
I will give my explanation behind how the characters behave for my fic, as well as what I know about the 'canon' version of these character versions.
I need to state real quick that I couldn't find an original image of TK!Shattered Dream, only one for Nightmare, so a friend of mine by the name of WarriorCats2007 edited the TK!Nightmare image I had to allow me an image of TK!Shattered Dream. My friend didn't edit it for monetary gain, and I will state who made the original Shattered Dream, who made the unedited image of Nightmare, as well as my friend who edited the image for me.
Do not write angry hateful insults in the comments below calling my friend an art tracer or thief as I will give complete credit and the only place my friend shared it to was me. So I'm the only one who has the image aside from a friend I shared it to after. My friend didn't post the image anywhere, and neither of us are claiming the image or characters as our own. They aren't.
Anyways. With all that information out of the way, Let's begin to explain these big players.
(I'll introduce smaller players as they become important, but the ones mentioned here are kinda big players, close to QuantumTale Gaster (AKA Time) and tend to have a close-knit group.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Chapter Begin~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Credit where Credit is Due: Original Ink!Sans created by Myebi/Comyet. Quantumtale created by PerfectShadow06. TK!Ink created by PerfectShadow06. (Comyet/Myebi can be found on Tumblr (and presumably Deviantart as well). PerfectShadow06 can be found on Deviantart (and maybe Tumblr as well).)
My personal rambling stuff that I tried to break into small enough paragraphs to make it easier to read but probably failed so here is my rambling about TK!Ink or, as I call him, Imprint: I do want to say I am not sure how TK!Ink is supposed to act, but my version, dubbed Imprint, is a toss-up.
He does desire to protect the TimeVerse, but he doesn't really need to do anything to achieve that as Time in the form of Quantumtale Gaster has personally created each 'child' and formed peace treaties between potentially dangerous factions (The Goop Bois have a Treaty with the Happy Bois that the Goop Bois will only add negativity to the pool if the Happy Bois make too much positivity, but with both Happy Bois balancing everything as counselors and negative stuff just randomly happens, the Goop Bois just kinda hang around and mess with the other TKs Time has created) shortly after the formation so there isn't time for people to get used to fear/anger regarding the 'baddies' and hope/love regarding the 'goodies'.
So Imprint is a Psuedo-Protector of AUs, but he doesn't have much to do as Lag and Glitch both only balance the bad code, which they do with Imprint's assistance.
So Imprint has taken a focus to protecting children of Time, which included Lapse at one point, and will include Decimate in the future.
All this to say, Imprint remains a Protector and he can create stuff. But he would rather allow his father to do the creating of AUs while he (Imprint) focuses on family protection and aid.
To summarize, Imprint focuses on balancing the different TKs roles and setting up family fun times while Time is the creator and protector of the AUs from outside forces, since the internal forces have treaties and all agree to play nice.
Sorry for the long rant, but I sometimes struggle to put into words what I intend to say.
The first TK coming to attention is one we've met before, TK!Ink aka Imprint. He has a stylus pen that has a near infinite store of ink within. He wears sneaker boots, shorts that look like a painter's smock, black shirt, suspender belt loops, cyan jacket, black fingerless gloves. The key identifier of Imprint is his beautiful and long scarf. The scarf is brown in color with rainbow paint splashed upon the end of his scarf from the half-way point down to the end. The beginning part of his scarf has small lines of color marking the brown. Imprint does have his ink vials, but they don't serve his emotion state as his father gave him a real soul. Each vial has a different attack pattern. Imprint wears blue goggles, and has mismatched eyelights that can and do change shape when he feels strong or new emotions. He has a signature splotch on his left cheek and a blue splotch mark on his right cheek. He also has two emotion pins on his belt with the paint vials.
Lag! TK Sans appears to have been created by PerfectShadow06 (Creator of QuantumTale, the TKs, and has a deviantart as far as I know.)
GlitchKid/TK! Error (Aka Glitch for me) also is created by PerfectShadow06. I'm starting to think anything involving quantumtale/TKs is PerfectShadow's creation, but I will still search for who did what.
FGOD idea is by Harrish6 (Their wattpad name).
I wanna say that Lag!TK Sans and GlitchKid/TK!Error are different people in my TimeVerse.
They both technically fall into the Error slot of the multiverse, but they handle different parts of the 'Error' job, while Imprint is just kinda...around.
The second to come to attention is both a new and old figure. He goes by the name of Glitch. He has black and red bones, but his phalanges go from black to yellow to light blue rather than black to yellow to red. He has light blue tear tracks. Yellow and light blue goggles, his scarf is a dark blue to lighter medium blue, black stitched pants, a jacket kinda like a glitched inverted TK's jacket. He wears a black hood as well, and he wears black, yellow, and red sneakers. All in all, a very good boy. He is designed to amend the glitched codes of AUs that shouldn't be glitched. (AUs like GlitchTale he allows but mitigates their effect on the AUs around them). His eyelights seem to be gears or clocks.
The third to notice the new AU is the second 'Error' TK. He goes by Lag. He looks slightly different from his fellow 'Error' Glitch. He has red and yellow shoes with purple laces and dark blue/black toe tips. He wears black pants with a blue stripe. His jacket is darker, featuring more red and dark blue or black than Glitch. Lag's scarf is a more cyan color. Lag's hood also features red fuzz. He seems to be wearing a red and purple under his vest hood thing. His bones seem to share the same coloration, but his tear tracks are a light purple/lavender color and his strings seem to shift between the track colors, red, dark blue, and pseudo-black. Lag's purpose is different from Glitch. He amends code that would make the AUs lag out but not glitch. Where Glitch removes code that is messing up the AU and has Imprint replace that missing code, Lag removes any junk files that could slow down the AU or Multiverse. Where Glitch is an Anti-Virus kind of guy, Lag is more like a Malware finder. Both necessary for the defense of the multiverse, but serving very different roles.
(Credit Where Credit is due: It appears that Reaper!Sans is originally created by someone called Ren, renrink on tumblr. (If anyone wants to let me know the tumblr or anything, that'd be nice).
TK version seems to be made by PerfectShadow06 again. (I'm gonna maybe start assuming that PerfectShadow is responsible for all da TKs but if you guys want to offer up the real owner if I'm wrong, do so politely thank you.).
My version of TK!Reaper is called Repose and he kinda took on both parts of the Reaping when he entered the multiverse, as I guess TK!ReaperPapyrus didn't want to have to worry about so many souls, and Repose wanted a chance to be seen as more than just...'evil'. Though thankfully, TimeVerse has deals and such, and Time as QT Gaster doesn't mind Repose getting involved and actually named Repose such using the definition "Peace; Tranquility; Calm" as a way to tell Repose that is what his job brings to all, even impure souls. Also, Time helped Repose learn to control his death touch, so the only thing Repose can use to insta-kill beings is his scythe, which he rarely summons outside of work, so he is able to touch and interact with others (He only really interacts with the others in this grouping, staying to the side unless they directly interact with him.)
The fourth to react to the new AU is one with arguably the most important job. He brings death to all (He'd only reap impure souls if he brother didn't tell him ahead of time that the brother was scared of messing up the multiverse and trusted Reaper to this task instead.). When he first joined the multiverse, Time greeted him. Reaper being Reaper could tell that Time wasn't a mortal like the children around him, but Time and he agreed to keep the divinity of Time a secret, so Reaper accepted Time's nickname for him (Repose), and began to refer to Time exclusively as "Creator". This was the only deal they ended up agreeing on. He wears black and blue shoes, black with a light blue stripe pants, a strange blue-black-green(???) shirt, a necklace with a mini-blaster on it as well as chains wrapping around from the blaster's mouth. He finishes up his look with a cloak of a similar style to his pants but with fuzz on the edge, and fingerless gloves.
(Credit where Credit is due: Original Fresh!Sans created by CrayonQueen/Loverofpiggies
TK!Fresh created by PerfectShadow06
My version of TK!Fresh goes by Mint (As in like Mint Condition). He has a soul, but uses the glasses to help mitigate the emotions he feels as like with Imprint, strong or new emotions mess him up.
The fifth to notice the new AU was a notorious member of the group. He tends to throw pranks left and right. He wears neon green and pink sneakers, purple and yellow pants, an orange t-shirt and a purple tank top on top with a yellow peace symbol. He wears purple fingerless gloves, green elbow bands, and pink and yellow arm warmers(???). He always has his green glasses and his yellow hat. Time (Gaster as everyone knows him) named him Mint, as if he were in New Condition, like if Time hadn't worn him down yet.
(Credit where Credit is due: Abyss!Sans from AbyssTale is made by Meta-Kaz
TK!Abyss seems to be made by PerfectShadow06 (but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)
TK!Abyss for me will be named Interstice which is defined as both a space between (like the abyss) but also has a definition involving time.
I feel like Interstice will be relatively chill and relaxed. Perhaps in the TimeVerse storyline, Abysstale was never destroyed, or if it was, Time made a deal with Abyss!Gaster to keep Interstice safe with the other TimeKid Guardians while Time searched for and retrieved the things Interstice needed to bring back his AU. Idk.
If the characters seem OOC compared to canon storylines, that's because they are and I'm just winging the fuck out of handling the ones I know (and wait until we get to the Sanses I don't know lol)
The sixth to come to attention is known as the Floof King in many circles. He wears blue and light blue boot sneakers(??), dark blue to black pants, a teal jacket, black fingerless gloves, his scarf of floof which is as tall as him, and a pair of light blue goggles. He is known as Interstice, and while he's not as hands-on with the multiverse, he still helps out as he can.
I don't know if I'll change his name at all for this or not. I might. But I can't exactly do that without making his name a little on the nose, ya know?
He'll probably be closer to his normal canon personality with just a little bit of tweaking because I can't always remember how these characters work. He's the youngest at 12 (I picture all that aren't TK or Cursed!TK to be 13~ Give or take a few months, with Cursed!TK being 14 and TK normal being 12) but he holds some of the greatest power as even the Deity Time (dressed as TK's father ironically) listens to TK on all matters. A lot of responsibility for a kid, but he is strong enough to handle it. A big bonus is that Time has made sure that there isn't really any major threats for the kids to handle. Like. The most threatening thing they have to deal with is Horror, Hell, and Killer (who are all TKs as well. And there may be others who are neutral or bad leaning, but those three are the most dangerous threates, and tbh, two of the three aren't even bad, just pushed to do things because of the stroy of their AU. (Horror and Killer. Idk much about TK Hell or his AU. Sorrys. Tho UnderHell seems like an enemy on the Bad Sanses to match TK on the Star Sanses, so it's possible he'll remain the only recurring bad guy they have to deal with.)
TK is a major player in my story, and I might go into Fanon territory with this, but I'm thinking I should make Cursed!TK a separate entity like I did Nightmare -> Night and Shattered -> Dream. I'll go into detail what's up with those four. I might also make Cursed!TK a story beat where Decimate rediscovers the power Lapse had, but it's on a much smaller scale and he's able to mitigate and perhaps even reverse the curse TK has. Idk. We'll see what future me does with this stuff.
<I need to make this clear, I'm drowning in a pile of TKs, many of Sanses I've never met normally anyways, much less TK and I'm very much trying my best.>
(The current TK we're covering is QT!TK. Cursed!TK will come up later when I figure out what I want to do with him.)
The seventh to notice is the 'Classic' TimeKid. QuantumTale Sans himself, TK. Undertale is an AU in the multiverse, but TK has taken the mantle as the Classic, and Undertale Sans has only a vague understanding of TK and the multiverse, the deal being that UT will be left out of any and all fights between good and evil and Classic won't have to come in and kick ass and he can leave the Classic balancing to TK.
Everyone agreed.
TK is dressed with blue and white sneakers with untied laces, black and white shorts, a white tee with a science pun (classy), His classic light blue teal jacket, black fingerless gloves, and gray banded goggles.
He bounces between being highly intelligent and being extremely childish.
For example. Imprint discussed the idea that an Error from another multiverse could be their missing Lapse, and TK was the first to list all the logical arguments supporting and contradicting this theory. He then spent the next five minutes gorging himself sick on candy like the 12-year-old he is. To be fair, the meeting descended after the only adult supervision (and Imprint) left the room. Have you ever left a bunch of 12-14~ year-olds in a room alone? Yeah. That.
(Credit where credit is due:
Joku is the owner of Dreamtale's original ideas (Though the ideas I'm using here are likely fanonized).
PerfectShadow06 created the TK versions of Dream, Night (uncorrupted), and Nightmare (corrupted).
Shattered!Dream belongs to drawingerror/shattereddreamau/galacii/galacii-gallery on tumblr.
A good friend of mine named Jay edited the TK Nightmare image to look more like a TK Shattered Dream, since I could not for the life of me find one. There are only subtle edits, but the base image belongs to Perf (As with most TKs).
Okay. So my TK timelines thing is a little confusing.
I'll try to be clear and concise but we've seen my attempts to be concise in this chapter, and they typically end in long rants.
I've kinda made two timelines (however, I can and will drop it down if one of the plots is picked.)
DreamTale 01 Moon and Sun: Solar (Dream), and Lunar (Night) are twins who've been either welcomed or at least respected/tolerated. The village seems to understand the necessity of Lunar's power. It doesn't take long before people actually feel better talking about the negatives of their life with Lunar, and finding ways to handle the negatives better with Solar. The two brothers quickly become a duo of counseling and therapy, helping air out the negative (Lunar) and find a way to handle the negative in a healthier and more positive way (Solar).
Dreamtale 02 Phantom and Delude: I haven't decided which path I'll take, I'm leaning both, but one has an extra plot point compared to the other.
Idea one: Phantasm (Nightmare) and Delusion (Shattered) were once a normal DreamTale timeline, but something happened and they both ate from corrupted apples to become Phantasm and Delusion.
Idea Two: Solar and Lunar absorb negativity from their clients, but they have to release this negativity. It goes into the second timeline, coalescing into Phantasm (NM) and Delusion (SD)
Idea one could play into Decimate/Error's issues regarding needles and NM.
Idea two could play into that issue as well as giving Error/Decimate a chance to interact with and help Solar and Lunar, which would cause Phantasm and Delusion to uh...basically fade away? Yeah.
Let me know which you'd prefer as I'm kinda on the fence.
The eighth to notice the new AU was the positive being known as Solar. He, with his brother, operates as a sort of counselor, using their respective powers to help people. He wears soft baby blue boots with suns, short dark blue shorts with yellow stars, a while coat with a golden belt, a light blue small overcoat (?), golden/yellow gloves, a blue and yellow staff with golden stars on each end, a pink and white button, a scarf/hood that is a yellow/tan with light blue at the ends. There is a little tuft crown as the final piece of Solar's outfit.
Solar is a calm, more adult version of Dream. He isn't near as Naive, and is aware that bad things happen to good people. He believes Lunar when Lunar explains if something bad happens. Solar seeks out a balance of positive and negative, to ensure that people live a fulfilled life where they understand that negative is bound to happen, but that the negative makes the positive worth it, and the positive makes the negative seem not near as bad.
The ninth to sense the new AU is brothers with Solar. His name is Lunar and he is the Guardian of Negativity. He operates with Solar to help people work through negativity in a healthy and productive manner. He wears dark blue/black shoes with light yellow moons. He wears the same color shorts with stars, and a tunic with light blue stripes around the edges and the same dark blue/black color. He has a silver belt with a sapphire. He wears dark blue fingerless gloves. He wears a similar scarf/hood thing as Blue with a silver pin and the scarf looks like a night sky. Lunar's final accessory is his moon crown thing.
Lunar is a highly empathetic individual and contrary to popular belief, Lunar doesn't enjoy negative feelings. He understands their necessity but he doesn't enjoy feeling bad, either due to his own feelings or due to the feelings of others. Lunar is not naive either, but where Solar tends to focus on protecting and believing Lunar, Lunar focuses on ensuring Solar doesn't need to spend extra energy on him. Lunar sometimes struggles with thoughts regarding his value, but he and Solar have a close enough relationship that Lunar can come to him for anything.
The tenth to notice is an enigma. It's hard to tell if Phantasm is real or a phantasm as his name suggests. Most TKs avoid him aside from Solar and Lunar. Solar sticks with Lunar to protect him, and Lunar doesn't mind Phantasm.
Phantasm wears sneakers with moons on them, pants, some kind of shirt and hooded jacket. He has his signature goop and his left cyan eyelight and tentacles.
The eleventh is in a similar boat to Phantasm, but goes by Delusion. He is mostly friends with Phantasm (who vaguely tolerates Delusion mostly for Lunar's sake.), okayish friends with Solar, and the best of friends with Lunar, ironically enough.
He has a similar attire and style to Phantasm, but suns and gold. His eyelight has also swapped sides to be on his right instead of left.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Now for these guys' stories in full as far as I've figured out.
Time was given a multiverse with Undertale to begin with. He made sure the Balance was inherently tied to him. The multiverse would naturally grow at a slow rate, and the creation of new AUs relied upon Time to gain inspiration from other places to make the newcomers.
His first creation was the AU QuantumTale. He fell in love with the AU and didn't even mind the emptiness for a while. But Time never met TK. Not this early on. He wanted the AU to grow and shape itself without any more input from him, so he'd meet someone 'new' in a sense, and also because he intended to mimic the looks of QuantumTale Gaster (who obviously agreed to this mimicking) and could not be seen in QT while Gaster was around.
Time, in his loneliness, looked outward. He looked at all the other Deities, and found something that caught his eye. Someone special, new but old, unique but the same, someone normal. Time took this idea, and crafted his first Outcoded child. This child he allowed to name himself. The kid discovered his power, the ability to make time Lapse, and with Time's permission, named himself Lapse.
Time was no longer lonely, but in creating a son, he was now faced with a new realization. Sometimes he leaves his multiverse, and leaves Lapse, alone. He didn't realize it at the time, but Lapse had incredible phobias of being left alone. So Time once again looked outside, for someone who would be a forever companion for his first child, and found yet another being that caught his eye.
He immediately crafted his second child, basing this one off the 'Protector' and 'Companion' of the Multiverse known as Ink. Lapse loved this new sibling, and Time said he'd allow the two to name the new child. Something happened, and the new child was nearly killed, but after the fact, Lapse revealed his second power, and the child's new name.
"Imprint." For the imprint the younger sibling had left on Lapse. Imprint was, unlike other Inks, very much not soulless. He holds a soul within his body, for Time saw no reason to force a creature to live without essence. But since Imprint was based upon Inks, he used paint vials but not in the ways the others did. Imprint uses the vials to achieve a few things. One, the paint vials store memories, mostly of people, as Imprint does have a semi-bad memory. The paint vials also allow Imprint to maintain focus. He can feel most emotions with ease, Joy, Contentment, Sadness, Frustration, Discomfort, and other such emotions. But the stronger ones, Happiness, Anger/Rage, Hatred, Melancholy. These all overwhelm Imprint. The paint vials allow him to either siphon off his stronger emotions to use later if necessary, or he can balance out his emotions by drinking a vial that is the opposite of the emotion he is feeling. Typically he'll drink an almost neutral emotion to weaken whatever emotion he is feeling at the moment.
Time continued creating many AUs (the main sanses will be introduced later) based on his fellows, but with the TK twist Time had come to adore. QuantumFell, QuantumSwap, QuantumSpace, QuantumReaper, QuantumAbyss, QuantumDream (Two timelines(?)), QuantumScare, QuantumX, QuantumEpic, QuantumGear/QuantumPunk, QuantumPunk Wastland!Fell, QuantumShift, QuantumShuffle, QuantumSweets, QuantumPlunder, QuantumPoke, QuantumHell, and many others. And among these AUs, he begun creating Outcodes as well, such as Mint, Slayer, Hearts and many others. Some Outcodes belonged to an AU, but for whatever reason, these AUs become locked or inaccessible, rendering them reliant on Time's Mansion, which exists in a sort of DoodleSphere crossed with an Anti-Void.
A second thing happened, which pulled Lapse from his multiverse. Shortly after this, Time found a new skeleton appearing in the Omniverse. This skeleton didn't fit in like the others. He stood out the most. Time developed two to handle the job that this skeleton handled alone.
Time named these two, ensuring they'd understand their purposes.
"Glitch." This TK Outcode had one job to do, remove the glitches from AUs that were not naturally glitchy AUs. Beyond that, Glitch could do whatever he liked. Imprint, after being given an explanation that Glitch was simply there to ensure the AUs continued to run as normal and wouldn't corrupt other fragile AUs, as Time had initially only created one of each (with the exception of QuantumDream) because he wanted there to be enough space for all the wonderful ideas while allowing each to feel intrinsically valuable and special. There was only one Interstice (QuantumAbyss Sans) after all, there was only one Azul (QuantumSwap) and Miel (QuantumSwap). There was only one Rojo (QuantumFell). Each was special and desired. And Glitch was to ensure these AUs continued to work properly, like an Antivirus program. Glitch removes the bad things so the good thing can continue.
"Lag." This TK Outcode, similar in palette to Glitch, had one job to do, but this was different. Where Glitch was an Antivirus program, Lag was more like a Malware program. Glitch removed blatant threats to the AUs, Lag cleaned up and removed things that weren't outright malicious, but messed with the overall health of the AUs.
Imprint, understanding this, was outright in full acceptance of Lag and Glitch, and introduced the two to the rest, stating that Lag and Glitch had among the most important jobs of everyone. Lag showed his power, and explained that he and Glitch would work closely together, running their programs one after the other to ensure they both would catch everything.
Time continued to miss Lapse, but had moved on, and had found himself in good company of his many children.
Repose was one of the earliest to join the multiverse. He came into the multiverse believing himself to be a Reaper, and evil simply for the nature of his power. Time gave him the time and space to see that good or evil were not terms he used to describe beings within his multiverse. He would rather judge each child upon the events of their lives and the perspectives they come to him with. Repose initially distrusted Time, seeing through the greater's disguise. However, when Time explained that he simply wanted his children to see him as a father, not a Deity, Repose calmed down. Time named Repose from Reaper to Repose, to subtly tell the younger God that he was bringing tranquility, peace, and calm to all.
Mint was another young joiner. He came from an AU that he himself was the destruction of, and he had a virus within called the Fresh Virus. It was impairing, but with Time's power, the Virus's impacts were mitigated. Mint got the glasses (and he kept his soul) from Time as a way to allow Mint to process his emotional situation. Mint and Imprint both share the unique situation of stronger emotions being overwhelming. Where Imprint uses the vials from Time, Mint uses the glasses' passive effect to nullify or water down his stronger emotions. As a result, whereas Imprint doesn't mind others drinking his vials (if only to see how these vials impact others), Mint is highly possessive of his glasses and has only allowed a handful of people to take/hold his glasses (Imprint, Time, Lag, and Glitch).
The next one joined a while later, and Time shortly after crafted a name befitting of one such as him. This child became known as Interstice, which represents the same span of space that his old name (Abyss) would represent, while also representing an aspect of Time. Interstice is a calm and gentle skeleton who wholeheartedly seeks to befriend newer children, allowing them a sort of familiar lifeline. (*cough* He will be infinitely important to Decimate's arc.) Interstice is one of a few that Time has revealed his real self to, since the Abyss from which Interstice hails (in a sense of the word) is a lesser Deity of the Void, a Deity who was against a Destroyer being taken and used by Fate and Destiny. Abyss' vote never mattered, but Time was grateful to the young Deity, and so chose to be honest to the young Sans.
It was around this time that the original QuantumTale Sans (Now known as TK) entered the Multiverse. Time was excited to meet this young one, and upon meeting, TK knew Time's identity. But TK didn't mind too much. Imprint was also excited, having spent a long time watching TK's timeline. TK became a rather big player to judging others and helping the meetings. Imprint, Lag, and Glitch handled things relatively well, but when TK came down on an issue, it was usually the end of discussion. The newer and younger joinees quickly learned rule number one.
Rule Number One: Don't argue one TK has made a final decision. He makes it after each side of the argument has presented their side, so it is a well-informed decision.
The next four important young ones all come from the same AU/Timeline. Solar, Lunar, Phantasm, and Delusion.
Solar is the name of the Guardian of Positivity and Light (The Sun perhaps?), and he is the one to bring up solutions regarding moving forward and trying to solve whatever problem is currently on the menu.
Lunar is the name of the Guardian of Negativity and Night (The Moon perhaps?), and he is the one to allow people to just exist in the events or problems, allowing them to release the negativity no matter how that release comes in (healthy obvs.) If it's like cutting or something, Lunar and Solar work together to handle the issues behind cutting or whatever it is so that they can later receive one on one with Lunar for the release and coming to terms with the past. Then once they've come to terms with the past, Solar helps them put good coping mechanisms in place and allows them to discover or rediscover hobbies to allow them to mitigate whatever issues they previously had.
Phantasm and Delusion are oddities and only Time truly knows the full relationship between Phantasm and Lunar and Delusion and Solar.
(You'll find out more about Cursed!TK later on when I finally decide how I want to use him. I'll probably align his usage choice with Phantasm and Delusion. So if they are one type, Cursed!TK will share that type. Have a good day.)
QuantumFell is right around the same, but Rojo ('Fell') outside of his AU is much more relaxed compared to normal. He doesn't enjoy his AU, but knows the only way to survive there is pretend. (Basically, Fell Monsters do the puffy cat thing 24/7 inside their AU and only become normal outside of their AU.)
QuantumSwap is right around the same as well, but Miel (Honey/Carrot/Orange/Stretch) is a relaxed and chill younger brother with a love of honey and puzzles. Azul (Blue) is an ambitious and excitable older brother with a love of people and interaction. Azul also tends to match the energy level of the person/people he's with. With Imprint, he's ridiculously energetic, but with Solar he's a bit more mellow. Everyone typically exists within those two. (Azul will match Decimate's energy level, and thus the two will vary between excitable (think of stars for Decimate) and very mellow (in general).)
QuantumSpace is the same. Star (AKA Outer) is relatively the same. He might be a little more mellow and less "Goody Goody" compared to a normal Outer.
QuantumScare is the HorrorTale of The TimeVerse. Omni (Horror) is slightly different. More child-like but not food oriented. He is blind in one eye for sure (pocket watch, you'll see what I mean when we get to him) and possibly blind in the other eye. He doesn't typically leave his AU, focusing on his little brother and food rather than the Multiverse.
Someone we will meet later is Slayer (TK Killer). He mostly is neutral, and blind in both eyes (lack of eyelights + the leaking Hate). He uses magic as a way to see, so unlike other 'baddies' that the TKs playfight with, Slayer is actually quite adept with his magical usage.
Symbol (TK Cross, Scar for TK X (The Chara of X-Tale).) has roughly the same story. But Cross is a little more hesitant to trust anyone, and often is on the same side as Slayer (Scar especially) during the TK playfights.
G is the oldest of the TKs resting at an approximated 16~ years of age. He shares the normal backstory of the regular G!Sans. He's most often seen eating a lollipop (He likes the feeling of something in his mouth, but thanks in part to Time's insistence, he's agreed not to smoke in front of the kids.) and typically remains laidback and calm. He's almost always forgotten due to how non-active he is compared to the other children.
Genz (QuantumGZ Sans AKA Ganz) has pretty much moved into Time's home due to the nature of his AU.
Hip (QuantumDance Sans AKA Dance) is fundamentally the same. Other Sanses occasionally approach him with requests to Dance or see him Dance, but he has rejected them all. (Papyrus does occasionally dance with Hip in front of the others, ensuring Hip is fully interested in the dance before allowing it to go public so Hip doesn't feel too stressed or embarrassed until after it's over.)
Epic memes around with Mint and Symbol. He doesn't swing either direction regarding the playfights.
Lust/Hearts and Haven/Asy's stories will be covered later.
(6165 words.
Welp, that's a fun long chapter. (Thank god I prewrite these things. Can you imagine waiting 2 weeks for a monster chapter???? Not me. Lol.)
