Become One [Chapter 33]

“Was this you?” Bellamy asked me quietly, calming himself. “I won’t be upset.”

“I didn’t stop it.” I admitted.

A huge sigh slipped from Bellamy’s lips, but instead of giving me flack for what I had done, he simply wrapped his arms around me and held me close, as if it was the last time he would do so. There was an unmistakable deepness in that hug that I couldn’t quite put my finger on, but decided that it was the situation with Dax that made him reconsider what had happened between us. He had been able to put it behind him, just as I had the moment that I thought him dead.

“I want to be alone, just us… for the night.” I suggested. We hadn’t had much alone time, and there was a lot that needed to be caught up on. There was one thing I knew, however. In the days that Bellamy and I weren’t speaking to each other, he had stayed loyal to me and me to him.

“Of course.” The man nodded.

“Bellamy!” Clarke shouted, though it was not a dramatic cry for help like there had been plenty of in the last few days. “You’re up.”

I looked at Bellamy with slight confusion, but he answered quickly, “The Chancellor. They are sending people down soon, if I’m not pardoned of my crimes… I can’t stay here.”

That was reasonable, but something in his eyes suggested that he was expecting the worst.

I kissed his cheek, “I’ll follow you to the end of the Earth.”

That thought seemed to soothe Bellamy as he lingered for a moment, then turned towards the tent where the radio was. I couldn’t imagine being in Jaha’s position, however. Being shot and nearly dying, surely that caused a hell of confusion and commotion on the Arc. And now questioning if he should pardon the shooter? It all seemed very unlikely, but Clarke had looked confident that Bellamy would be freed of his crimes and his past.

Poking a stick into the fire to move a log, the flames licked alongside the unburnt wood and grew larger as they engulfed it. The inferno seemed large when staring at it, but we kept our fires small. The Grounders knew our location, surely, but we had no evidence of that and kept the fires small just in case. Stupid moves got people killed, and we didn’t want to take any chances.

When Bellamy emerged from the tent, the wide smile and the stunned eyes revealed that he had been pardoned by his crimes. Walking towards me, I expected him to sit down next to me, but instead he scooped me up in his strong arms and lifted me in the air. His arms cinched around my waist in a tight embrace, spinning my petite form around lightly before setting my back down, but his arms still lingered around me.

He leaned down and whispered in my ear; he dragged his hand down my body, outlining me, and gripped my fingertips before pulling me through the camp. Each fire we passed I got more excited to be with Bellamy, alone again. His hand was still gripping onto my own as we navigated through, a few gazes being cast our way, but most people ignoring us as they were still coming down from their questionable high.

When we arrived at the glowing forest, a place where I always felt safe despite being completely out in the open, Bellamy’s lips found mine. The forest seem to sing as our lips collided; the hum of bugs in the night and the wind blowing through the leaves, making them shake slightly. Everything seemed to have a noise of its own, whilst silent at the same time. It took a moment to realize that the forest was never silent, you could tune in and listen to every rustle and every groan or creak of another tree leaning in the wind.

When you did tune in to the forest, you felt your insides light up. Pleasure would seep out of your pores and serotonin flowed through your veins. You became one with nature, something that no human being (aside from Grounders) had done in over one hundred years. It was one of the most majestic feelings to exist. It was right next in line to kissing Bellamy Blake.

His rough hands slipped through my hair, which surely had leaves and dirt in it, but he didn’t care. All he cared about was losing himself in me, and allowing me to get lost in him. As he began to slowly undress and expose me to him and the wilderness around us, I began to feel the bite of the autumn chill, but I knew that Bellamy would warm me in moments.

There was a small spatter of blood on his cheek, but I ignored it as it gave him some character; reminded me that I had almost lost him and that somehow he came back to me. I began to peck along his neckline, leaving a trail of invisible kisses down his body; as we lost more and more clothing I felt the intimacy of the forest grow on us, consume us.

With my legs wrapped tightly around Bellamy, his hands gripping my tight thighs, he pressed my back against a tree. The roughness of the bark would have normally been uncomfortable, but it seemed to add to the pleasure as Bellamy slipped his member into me. His head lolled forwards slightly, his shaggy hair brushing against the bridge of my nose. A moan escaped my lips, though I hardly tried to stop it; being in the woods was dangerous, but it was such a thrill all at once.

Our deeply heated moment continued as Bellamy moved in and out of me effortlessly, as if our bodies were meant to be together. Gripping his hips tighter between my thighs, I felt my muscles contract, then flex as they prepared for the orgasm that was close. A wave of emotion and pleasure flowed through my entire body as I bit down hard onto my bottom lip; the slight pang of pain causing the warm climax to explode through my body.

I could feel Bellamy react to my climax. My eyes travelled to his face, which contorted as he had his own pleasure wave; he came quickly after I did. We continued to stay locked together like some jigsaw puzzle, my legs around him and his hands clutching my thighs. Heavy pants overcame the sounds of nature for the time that we were indulging in each other, and slowly came back into earshot as our bodies simmered down.
