After arriving at Valentino's we head to the bathroom reading instructions on how to dye hair. As we are about to start he takes his hoodie off revealing his naked torso, "let's do this shall we?" he nods his head, "wait, are you sure you know how to do this?" I roll my eyes, "seriously dude?? " he shrugs, "I'm just confirming okay." He puts his hands up in surrender.

I part his hair after I am done I mix the dye and instruct him to bend so I can see his head properly. "Babe you know what just dye the whole head red" I think for a second and say, "papi I'm not sure how I feel about this, but if you say so." I'm done with half of his hair so I move to the other but as I'm applying dye he keeps on nibbling my arm, "if I fuck up your hair just know it's on you" he mumbles a you're so lame, he stops and I finish. After I rinse my hands and face him, "soo we have to wait 35 minutes before washing it off. What do you want to do?" he smiles my way, " Video games? " we head to the room playing video games for a bit.

The timer goes off meaning 35 minutes is over so we move towards the sink getting ready to wash, I wash his hair. After finishing I wrap a towel on his head we leave the bathroom. After we just play music while we are busy on our phones because he didn't want to use hairdryer on his hair saying it will air dry. Once his hair is dry I moisturize it and begin twisting it.

As I am doing his hair I am standing in between his legs he snakes his arm around my waist pulling my hoodie up a bit placing a kiss on my stomach, "You are so beautiful baby" My heart swells with emotion, "Me?? Oh thank you Valentino " he hugs me, "why are you being so nice to me? Stop before I kiss your armpits" he smiles at me saying, "because you are so beautiful inside and out and you deserve good things." I lean down placing a peck on his lips, "and your armpits are the good things I deserve?" he smirks saying, "any part of me is" I roll my eyes, "okay I fuck with the self-love but damn you're feeling yourself calm down sir."

His phone starts ringing as he is about to reply, he speaks with his friend on face time and I zone him out focusing on finishing doing his hair. As I finish twisting his last locks I tune back in hearing his friend saying, "show me your braider real quick" Valentino just says bro chill I then zone out again before hearing him saying they'll talk later. I pat his head and say, "all done" he smiles hugging me, " what would my life be without you in it?" I smirk saying, "shitty I know because hellooo I'm the oxygen" he rolls his eyes saying, "okay chill out you're feeling yourself too much." I fake cry, "Ouch you wound me Valentino" he kisses my cheek, "so babe my friends are coming over" I grimace

I'm not a really social person, I am that one awkward and weird person who does speak much when you first meet me. That is up until I am comfortable around you, and then I am the most crazy and annoying friend. "well how many friends Val?" he smiles my way, "only 2 no need to be nervous they are really nice dudes easy to get along with" I shrug and he drags me leading me to the kitchen, "lets feed that tummy of yours yeah?" I nod my head only realizing then that I haven't eaten. Just then the door opens and two guys walk in.

The first one to enter is a brown skin guy who's tall with soft curls on his head and the guy he is with is light brown guy with cornrows. He is average height they have resembling face features, so I assume they are related. They enter the kitchen and bro hug as they greet each other. They speak for a bit before the one with curly hair faces me introducing himself, "hey doll I'm Liam and you are?" I smile shaking his outstretched hand, "Serinity" I simply state, " nice to meet you Serinity this is my twin brother Lyle" Lyle smiles my way waving and I smile back, "are you the braider then? Besides braiding what do you do?" I look at Valentino begging him to save me. Valentino looks at me laughing, Liam looks at Valentino confused, "bro what?" Valentino places a plate in front of me kissing my cheek, "eat up" he then faces Liam saying, "Serinity is my girlfriend " his mouth forms an o shape, I just smile his way and dig up on my food and scroll through Ig.

Not that I am rude or anything but Valentinos friends don't necessarily have to be my friends you know. I mean its good for us to greet and be polite towards each other so, I give him space with his friends. They leave to go to the sitting room. I finish my food and get up to rinse my plate as I'm drying my hands Lyle gets in. I send a polite smile his way and leave for the room but before I can exit he says, " a quick word" I stop and turn around, "yeah wassup?" he hesitantly begins, "Serinity right?" I nod my head, "look I can see that Valentino have a serious thing going on, just j-ust don't loose yourself in the midst of loving him. You seem like a really nice girl Serinity so please always put yourself first or should I say choose yourself." He smiles at me and leaves as I am about to ask what the fuck is he on about. I am so confused in fact scratch that I have never felt more stupid in my whole existence. What the hell does he mean???

If only had I listened to him and maybe took that as a sign or a warning to walk away from Valentino I wouldn't be the broken version of myself that I am now. I wouldn't have allowed that fucker to break me and turn me into someone who I hardly recognize, someone who is insecure, maybe I would not be questioning myself worth just maybe I would still be the confident girl I was. Word of advice, when people warn you about the guy you're dating you should listen to them and try not to be Dora the explore and want to discover what they are warning you about yourself. Because in the end you'll end up left with a broken heart, full of regrets or better yet despising the word love.
