The journey back home was quite both didn't talk much except the radio playing some country music as Emma was still in confusion of what going in her life while Noah looking at his new made friend sitting with frown on her face he tried to talk but don't know what say so he kept quiet

"we're here" his voice break her chain of thoughts she turn towards him who as smile on his face who have smile on his face something triggered her to force a smile at him every time 

They both came out of Noah's car and felt like some one watching them he turn to his left and found a black van though he's new to the town that van looks little creepy shrugging off from his thoughts he took Emma towards his house and found his mom cooking along with her grandma they both saw us coming and my mom came towards us with cookies in her hand 

"Hey kids come in, oh Emma you should try my chocolate cookies" my mom said in her usual sugary voice when I come home with a girl in past I signaled her not to do this but she rolled her eyes at me making my eyes wide before she could say anything I grabbed Emma's elbow and make her sit in the couch and pull the plate from my moms and said

"Emma you should definitely try my mom's killer cookies and mom you just carry on your cooking I'll give Emma some company" I said cheekily at my mom to which my mom twist her lips with a smile and wiggled her eyebrows and disappear into kitchen

"well if you wanna rest you can use my room I don 't mind" I said looking towards Emma 

"No that's you already done so much for me" she said with forced smile to which I rolled my eyes 

"Come on kitty we both are friends you don't need to feel awkward for asking help" Noah said with small smile 

"well I'm not used to get help from others" she said raising her tune a little to which his fall she felt little bad but soon  they both composed them self 

"Ok why don't we play game until the dinner gets ready" Noah asked hopefully to get a positive reply from her 

" yes" she said little hesitant

"ok then lets play 20 questions, where I ask you a question to which you should answer and then you'll ask me a one, what you say" he asked to which she nodded her head as she expected this kind of game from him

"I'll do the honor of starting the game first" he said little dramatically which made Emma chuckle they both gets settled in the living room floor

"Do you have a boyfriend?" Noah asked hoping a no from her 

"Yes" she said to which his face fell a little she controlled her chuckle

"who?" he asked sadly

"Ethan" she said teasingly

"wait that dork your boyfriend" Noah said with anger and jealousy that's it she burst out laughing 

"well not so funny" Noah said with little anger in his voice to which Emma flinched 

"I'm just joking I mean who in right mind will date some one like him" she said with hurt in her voice which doesn't go unnoticed by Noah 

"Now your turn" Noah said diverting the topic

"Hmm.... what's your passion" Emma asked after thinking for a while

"Football" Noah said instantly in full excitement 

"Football?" Emma asked with a smile

"Yeah football I have been playing since I'm a kid and I'm the captain of my old school's football team" he said with a sad smile which clearly says he's missing his old school

"you miss your old school right " He looked at her and nodded his head

"well now it's my turn" he said grabbing a cookie and passed it to her

"Ask it" she said munching the cookies

"Where does your parents live" Noah asked out of curiosity mentioning her parents made her body shiver on seeing her state he mentally slapped himself

"they're not with me" she said stammering and a drop of tear left her eye 

"I'm so sorry for triggering your past I didn't mean forgive my stupid mouth please" Noah said guiltily 

"No that's ok you don't have to be sorry for my shitty past" she smiled through tears which made him feel like an idiot for asking that stupid question

To lighten her mood he came closer to her which made her jerk off from the place he soon started to tickle her unable control her laughter she burst out laughing like an manic she begged him stop but he's not in the mood to stop at all seeing her laugh like this made him overwhelm ans knowing he's the reason of her happiness made him proud of himself 

"Ok please stop" Emma pleaded after completely drained from his sweet torture of tickling 

"Now my turn" Emma said excitedly 

"Do you have a girlfriend" Emma asked casually 

"Had one but not anymore" Noah said 

"how many girlfriends you had in past" Emma asked again

"Ten" Noah said with a smirk 

"Ten!!" Emma exclaimed with wide eyes

Noah slightly chuckle and said "no I'm just kidding I had only one girlfriend and she cheated on a month back" 

"I'm sorry about it" Emma said with a small

"Nah that's ok I'm happy she done that I was forced to have her as my girlfriend she always sticked to me like a chameleon" Noah laughed at the last part

seeing him lost in his thoughts Emma throw a cushion at him with a naughty simile and got up run only to be pulled back by Noah he started to tickle her and she started to him with pillow they both laughing like a five year old without caring about the world and ended up Emma lying below and Noah at the top holding her hands above they stopped laughing and lost in each others eyes and they're moment broken by some one clearing their throat 

"Hmm kids if you're done dinner is waiting" they look up to see Noah's mom standing with a mischievous grin in her face making them both blush 

The dinner was little awkward Noah's mom teasing them both and the blush din't left their face which made Emma's grandma happy she felt light seeing her grand daughter smiling after years she mentally thanked her angels for sending Noah 

"so It's good to have a friend around" Noah said not knowing what to say

"yeah me too" she said with a smile

"so can I take you to school tomorrow I mean you can come with me to school" he stammers how to ask her 

"Yeah sure" she said with a small smile

"Thanks" she said out of blue

"For what?" he asked 

"For saving me and giving me this wonderful day'" Emma said genuinely 

"no thanks and sorry between friends" Noah said showing his hands inside his pocket

"Ok then goodnight" she said heading towards the door

Noah pulled her into a hug and kissed her fore head and said "good night kitty see you later"

That night both souls slept peacefully thinking about their new made friendship
