Hiding
-Elizabeth's POV-
I ran. Pushing my legs to the limit. I turn to look once more at the sun burst yellow house I used to live in. Wetness drew on my face as it began to ran. I take off again.
-Narrative POV-
She ran farther and farther into the woods of Oregon. Pushing herself harder and in the distance she could see a barn. She crawled in and began weeping and sobbing. Not long after, she feel asleep.
She woke up to soft shaking. Elizabeth looked up into a pair of hazel nut eyes and was flashed with a white smile. He stood up and she got a good look at him. He stood about 6,2 while being her 14 year old self standing a 5,1. He watched her as she got up slowly with a small gleam of failure in her eyes.
-Brandon POV-
She stood up slowly and her damp hair was matted to the side of her hair. She held her hands up in front of her and I could see the tears about to escape.
" No, no, no! I won't turn you in! I just found you!" I sputtered," Come, come, let's get you inside."
I ushered her inside, but she still stayed silent. I showed her the bathroom and where all the hygienic products were. I look back at her and before the door completely shut she gave me a weak smile. The door shut quietly and I could feel a fluttering in my stomach that I haven't felt since my 15th birthday two years ago.
-Elizabeth POV-
I shut the door after giving him a small smile. I looked back into the floor length mirror and slowly lifted off my shirt exposing the healing scars and bruises from last week's beatings. I held in my tears and stepped into the shower. *(Flash back) I stood int the shower and I heard yelling downstairs. I refused to leave the shower, then I heard the door bust open as my mom came stomping in.
"YOU LITTLE SH*T," she screeched. She grabbed my hair and flung me to the ground multiple times then left me with my head bleeding and my vision blurring.*
