"Daniel stop! Don't you dare bring that thing near me!" Nikki screamed while Daniel chased her around with a spider.

"Oh come on wuss! It's just a spider." He retorted.

She ran inside and hid behind James. The taller male was confused by her actions, but soon realized her fear.

"C'mon Daniel, leave the girl alone." James scolded the spider-boy.

He pretended to be all sad and threw the spider outside, "I was just having fun."

The three laughed and Nikki walked towards the stairs. Although her short walk was interrupted by a boy sliding headfirst down the stairs. She looked down only to see Jai looking up at her.

"Beau! Luke! Why would you push your brother down the stairs?" She yelled, helping Jai up.

She ran up the stairs and into Beau's room. He was sitting on his bed laughing, Luke doing the same next to him. Nikki folded her arms and stared at them.

"What? It was funny." Luke laughed.

She rolled her eyes and went to grab her backpack and penny board from her room. The day was Sunday, the day she would go riding with Luke. Sure he was a dick at the house, but he was kind.

"Ready Lukester?" Nikki yelled through the house.

"Just throwing some things in my bag!" He responded.

She ran outside and went up to the gate. Luckily today there weren't any girls waiting outside, a usual occurrence. The girl sat down and watched the foot of the drive for the younger boy. For a short moment she looked away and there he was, walking up the drive.

"Took you long enough." She joked.

"I was just grabbing some food. I'm a hungry boy." Luke responded.

She laughed and opened up the gate, "Yes you are."

They rode around L.A, passing by a few fans of Luke. At one point they were even chased by a mo-ped.

I always enjoy riding with Luke, Sunday is our dedicated day. Although sometimes we go out when I need to get my mind off things. It was around 12 and Luke was getting hungry... again.

"Pizza?" I asked him.

He nodded, never turning down the chance for pizza.

We rode to the closet place with pizza, some italian restaurant. I walked in with Luke trailing behind. Taking a seat at a table in the corner, a waiter soon came.

"Hello guys. What can I get for you today?" The perky girl pulled out a pad of paper.

"We'll take a medium Hawaiian pizza." Luke told her.

She looked at us with an odd face, "Quite a heavy accent, you two British?"

"No. We are actually Australian." I respond.

She smiled, "So do you like ride Kangaroos to school?"

I stood up and started to gather up my things. Luke looked at me and did the same.

"I'm sorry miss, we have to get going." He apologized.

She nodded to him and walked away. I stormed out, and sped down the street. Luke follows, knowing how mad I get when people confuse the accent. We get back to the house and I ride down the drive.

"Nikki, its dangerous to do that!"

I ignored his warning and rode down. Once I got to the bottom I had a hard time stopping. The board flew out from under me and I fell onto my knees. I heard Luke running down the hill. Shaking it off I got up and walked into the house.

"Hey how was your..." Beau began before I cut him off.

"Fucking amazing."

Of course he didn't believe me, but left me alone anyway. I ran upstairs and slammed my door. Dropping my board in the middle of the room, I threw my bag into the corner and fell onto my bed. I screamed into my pillow until my throat was sore.

~Luke

I wanted so badly to go see if she was okay, but I knew better. Beau walked up to me, his face confused.

"What happened while you two were out?"

"Another accent mishap. These things always get to her." I replied, grabbing some water from the fridge.

He nodded his head in understanding, "Yeah, this all started when her and I went on our senior trip to London. We were walking around and some American overheard us talking, mistook our accents and asked for directions. Nikki told the woman she didn't know how to get there, causing the woman to be confused. I explained that we were from Australia, and she left us alone. Ever since she gets upset about it."

"I see. I just feel really bad for her, it seems to happen a lot." I said, finishing my water.

Beau explained he had to go pick up some cookies for Daniel so we said goodbye and I went to my room.

~Beau

The car rolls down the driveway and I hop out at the bottom. While at the store James texted me that they wanted to go see a movie. I told why not and that I would be home soon. I ran through the door only to be welcomed by Daniel's face.

"Cookies?"

I threw them at him and he ran away. I laughed and went to check on Nikki. The stairs creaked under me. When I was close enough to her room I heard laughing.

"Oh my god Jai, I remember that!" Nikki's voice rang.

I heard my youngest brother's laugh, "Yeah, that video was interesting."

I knocked on the door then came in.

"Oh hey Beau." Nikki smiled at me.

I waved, "C'mon Jai, out. You're going to a movie."

"Im going to you know." Nikki responded.

"Uh no, we need to talk."

By now Jai was standing, "I'll see you later than Nick?"

She nodded, "Of course Jaibird."

He walked out and closed the door. About five minutes later I saw the car vanish up the driveway.

"I'll get the first aid kit." I tell her.

"For what? I'm fine."

"Luke told me about what happened. Uncover your legs."

I went into the bathroom and brought the first aid kit back into the room. Nikki sat on the bed, her legs red and raw. I could see the pain she must be in.

"Now honey, why would you lie about the pain?" I said in my 'Professional Skipping' voice.

She rolled her eyes and I sat next to her. I opened the kit and pulled out the hydrogen peroxide. She didn't wince as I poured the substance onto her wound.

"Luke toughened you up I see." I smiled.

"I suppose." She replied.

I grab the wrap and begin to cover the wound, careful not to pull it too tight. As I was wrapping we went through our prom memories.

"Oh my god, remember the faces on the teachers when they saw us walk up to the table with our tickets." Nikki laughed.

"Yes! They were about to tell us to leave." I returned the laugh, putting hooks on the bandage to keep it stable.

"Thanks for everything Beau. I really appreciate it."

"Haha, no worries. Plus its always fun to remember our high school days... Well the good ones that is."

She smiled at me and I returned a stupid one. She really is beautiful, though I know I couldn't date her. We are best friends, it would ruin everything.

She laid down on her bed and I threw a blanket over her. She muttered a small, 'thanks' and I just smiled. No matter what she did I could always find the happiness in it. I decided that it would be best if I stayed in her room with her, so I took a seat in her desk chair. Pulling a blanket off the floor I quickly fell asleep.

Idk how fast updates will be, but they will be out. I actually wrote a plot for this story(unlike my other ones). That way I wont get lost and give up on the plot. I hope anyone that reads this is enjoying it so far :)
