Nova POV

With every brush of his lips against mine I became more and more overcome with a mixture of excitement and fear.
Excitement that this was finally happening, that he wanted me too but fear that I would wake up and this will have all been a dream.

My fingertips roam over the soft warm skin of his now bare torso feeling every single muscle. I could feel how his body reacted to my touch no matter how delicate it was.

He begin to nibble at the skin on my neck as his fingertips hook under my top. He slowly begins to lift it and I feel a little nervous not knowing what he would think of my body.

Knock knock knock.......ding dong ding dong

"This can not be happening" Damian groans

"Just ignore it they will go away" I say, bringing his face back to mine

Knock knock knock.......ding dong ding dong

"That's I'm getting rid of whoever that is" he says getting up off the bed "they are going to regret touching that door"

I get up and follow him downstairs noticing he hasn't even bothered to put his shirt back on.
I watch him fling the door open and his posture completely change as he shakes his head.

"What are you doing here?" He asks

"I heard you were here and I was hoping we could talk" Tiffany says

"We don't have anything to say" he says as I come to stand by his side and wrap my arms around him. He smiles at me and pulls me into his side and I place a soft kiss on his chest.

"No......no this isn't right" she says "we are meant to be together, it was always you and me. Please just hear me out before you make any big decisions" she pleads "Kieser was a mistake, it's you I want, you I love and there is nothing I want more in the world than to be your wife"

When I look up at Damian his expression is unreadable and his grip on me has loosened. Removing myself from his side I take a few steps back.

"Where are you going tinkerbell?" He asks looking confused

"I.......I think you two need to talk" I say "you can use the living room if you want. Just let me know the outcome"

I make my way back to the stairs only to feel someone grab my wrist. Turning I find Damian behind me and he pulls me agaisnt his chest.

"I don't want her........I want you tinkerbell" he whispers

I look up at him and cup his cheek with a sad smile "talk to her" I say "be certain of what you want.............if it's me then I will be right upstairs waiting"

"I am certain.......timkerbell I........" I silence him with a finger on his lips and smile

"Do this for me" I say "I need you to be absolutely sure before I open myself up fully to this"

"Alright" he sighs resting his head against mine "but I promise you this won't take long"

I place a soft kiss on his lips before making my way upstairs.

Damian POV

"Fine make it quick" I say motioning for her to come inside. I watch her look at Nova and mouth thankyou. Nova just nods and heads the rest of the way upstairs.

She follows me into the living room and I motion for her to sit down.

"Start talking" I say crossing my arms

"I promise you Kaieser was a mistake" she says sadly "I realised that after I lost you. I realised I'd lost the best thing to ever happen to me. I knew in that instant what I wanted and that was you and me and the future we always talked about"

"Whatever you think you've realised, you realised it too late" I say "I was a fool for you for far too long and now I've realised something myself. You are not what I was looking for.......Nova is........Nova genuinely cares about me, she wants me just as I am and she would never ever hurt me"

"Nova?" She says "oh sweetie you do realise this is just a rebound right? And it's better you realise that now before Nova gets hurt. Come home with me, we can try again and i promise this time will be better"

"Nova is not a rebound" I say moving back from her "my eyes have been opened to what I've always had in front of me. That all this time while I thought I loved you I'd actually been.............."

"Please don't say it" she says "I should have known this wouldn't be easy that you would need time so that's what I'm going to give you. Time to think, to be sure of what you want and when you are you know where to find me"

I watch as she makes her way to the front door and I just shake my head. Why wouldn't she listen to me? Why wouldn't she hear what I'm telling her that I love Nova.................oh my god! I love Nova!

"You won't be hearing from me" I say following her to the door "and I would appreciate it if you would leave me alone from now on" I say closing the door and the  rushing upstairs

When I enter Nova's room she is stood over by the window. She turns to look at me and I pause for a moment. Her expression turns sad and she simply nods at me.

"It's ok big man" she says softly "we will still be friends that won't change"

"What?" I ask "Oh no.......no you've got this all wrong" I smile before walking over to her.

I take her in my arms and press my lips to hers. I pull her tightly agaisnt my body as I nuzzle into her neck.

"I want you Nova" I whisper "I will always want you because........because.........I love you"
