Part 51 

Khushi came with coffee.

Arnav: Did Dad and Tina have coffee?

Khushi: Don't know Arnavji.

Arnav: Ask them if they want.

Khushi nodded yes and about to go...

Arnav: Khushi....

Khushi: Haan Arnavji....?

Arnav: Prepare coffee for Aman too, ask him to sit in the living room.

Khushi(excitedly): Is Aman Bhai coming?

Arnav: Yeah... I had forgotten to take an important file. He is bringing that.

Khushi thought something and rushed to Tina's room. Tina wiped her cheek, seeing Khushi. Khushi sighed seeing her saddened face.

Khushi: Do you want coffee?

Tina: No Bhabi...

Khushi: Anything else?

Tina: No, please....

Khushi: Ok... I just going to prepare for Aman Bhai... that's why I asked. Then I don't want to prepare it again for you.

Saying she left the room smirking. Tina was looking at her retreating figure, stunned. What she said is true? Is Aman coming here? She rushed to the washroom and washed her face. When she came to the kitchen, Khushi was boiling the milk. Khushi smiled inwardly.

Khushi: Arrey... have you changed your mind or what?

Tina: I felt bored... so thought to help you.

Khushi: Ohhh... So sweet of you...

Tina: I will prepare coffee.

Khushi: Prepare for Dad also.

Tina: Jee...

Khushi: Keep the milk in the low flame and prepare when he arrives.

Tina: Ok Bhabi.

They heard calling bell sound.

Khushi: Shall you check who that is.

Tina: Sure... sure....

She ran while saying. Aman got stuck when Tina opened the door. Before she started speaking, Aman went inside passing her, seeing Arnav descending the stairs. Tina went back to the kitchen.

Arnav: Thank you, Aman...

Aman: Anything for you, ASR.

Arnav: Have coffee.

Aman: No ASR... I have to go.

Arnav: Arrey... what so urgent? Wait... don't make your Bhabi scold at me. You don't know about her anger.

He chuckled so did Aman. Aman's face became stern when Tina brought him coffee. She gave it to him, slightly bending down, looking at him. But Aman's eyes were only on the coffee cup which was not gone unnoticed by Arnav.

Aman kept the cup on the table and stood.

Aman: I'm leaving ASR.

Arnav: What about having dinner with me?

Aman: some other day...

Arnav: Are you alright? You look disturbed...

Aman: No ASR... I'm fine.

Arnav: Hopefully...

Aman nodded yes and left the place. When he came out, Tina blocked his way. Aman closed his eyes.

Aman: Let me go...

Tina: I really don't want to talk to you but when I see you, my stubbornness got broken.

Aman: ASR called me, that's why I came.

Tina: Why didn't you attend my call?

Aman: I was busy...

Tina: Lie... you are intentionally avoiding me.

Aman: When you know the reason very well, why are you questioning me?

Tina: Look at my eyes and say you don't like me....

Aman: Listen, I have much work other than answering you.

Tina: Ok... go.... you will get my death news soon.

Aman: Yes... I can't think of saying yes to ASR's sister. I know my limits and I will be in my limits. He is my friend, guide, everything... I can't disappoint him for anything, no matter what.

Saying he shrugged her hand and took a step to leave. But stopped hearing,

"What if I ask you to marry my sister?"

Not only Aman but also Tina was bomb shelled, seeing Arnav standing with Khushi.

Aman: ASR... I...

Arnav: I... what?

He asked looking at Tina whose eyes were on the floor.

Khushi: Who said he will get disappointed if you like his sister? (looking at Arnav) did you?

Arnav nodded NO.

Khushi: Then why do you think so?

Aman looked at Arnav gulping.

Arnav: I think he doesn't like Tina that's why he is giving excuses.

Tina looked at him nervously.

Aman: No ASR.... I like her.

Arnav: Really?

Aman scratched his forehead whereas Tina smiled with tears.

Arnav: I just wanted to know only one thing whether you like Tina or not because I don't want to force you for anything. You know why? I too don't want to disappoint you.

Aman: You have all the rights on me ASR. I ought to do what you say.

Arnav: Then marry my sister.

Aman looked at Tina who looked extremely emotional. Aman nodded YES.

Tina(looking at Arnav): Thank you Bhai.

Arnav smiled at her.

Arnav: So you will become my jeejaji. From here on, I can't order you it seems.

He pulled his legs.

Aman: Our relationship status may change but Aman will be Aman for ASR.

Arnav: Khushi asked me a valid question.

Aman: What question?

Arnav: Aman Bhai is doing everything for you. What did you do for him?

Aman and Tina looked at her surprisingly.

Arnav: She is the detective of your love saga.

Tina: Detective?

Arnav: She watched you talking on the phone with someone today morning. Redialing the number, she found with whom you talked. (looking at Aman) did you get a blank call from my number right? She is the one who dialed your number. Because of her, I got to know about you guys.

Tina rushed to Khushi and hugged her.

Tina: Thank you so much Bhabi.

Khushi: You should have told me before...

Tina: I'm sorry Bhabi...

Khushi: That's ok. (looking at Aman) I hope you have no problem to have dinner with us?

Aman smiled nodding yes.

Arnav: Let's go.

They came back to the living room and saw Arvind sitting there.

Arnav: I want to tell you something.

Arvind looked at him frowning. He thought it's about Asha's case.

Arvind: Anything serious?

Arnav: I have a good proposal for Tina.

Arvind: Proposal for Tina?

Arnav: Why? Shouldn't I think of her future?

Arvind: When did I say like that? I'm glad if you make any decisions. By the way, who is the guy?

Arnav: Aman...

Arvind looked at Aman and Tina. Aman's stern expression and blush on Tina's face told him the story.

Arnav: Tina likes Aman... so I'm taking this proposal seriously.

Arvind: What about Aman?

Arnav was about to say something, Arvind stopped him showing his palm.

Arvind: Don't say Aman won't say yes to you. This is not office work but Tina's life.

Before Arnav answered,

Aman: I too like her, sir. Of course, I will obey ASR's every ward but ASR is not a man who forces for everything.

Arvind smiled looking at Khushi who bit her lip, understanding his point. Arnav also understood it.

Arnav: I forced Khushi but it's different....

All of them suppressed their smile even Aman couldn't hold himself.

Arnav: Yes, I forced her; she is not repenting though...

He looked at Khushi and she nodded yes making her face seriously. Arnav dropped his jaw.

Arnav: Prepare dinner. Let's go, Aman.

Khushi: What are you going to do?

Arnav: We will discuss tomorrow's deal.

Khushi: Before you guys started a marriage arrangement, make sure you won't bring your office to the house.

Arvind: That's a much-needed deal.

He laughed.

Arnav: Arrey, what will we do until you prepare dinner?

Khushi: Aman Bhai, take Tina for a short walk and reach home before 7 o'clock.

Tina's face brightened hearing that whereas Aman waited for his ASR's avow. It was not hard for Arnav to understand that Khushi is planning to give them time.

Arnav: Ok fine. Get back home at seven.

Aman nodded yes and left with Tina.

Arvind: I'm going to my room then.

He too left the place.

Khushi was about to go to the kitchen, Arnav clutched her hand.

Arnav: Giving them time is fine but what about me?

Khushi: I will come finishing cooking.

Arnav: Nothing doing. HP will cook. You come with me.

Khushi: But Arnavji...

Arnav: Shut up....

He started pulling her towards their room not listening to her.
