Part5 Change of Plan

Night in GH

Khushi was standing near the window, looking at the sky... looking at her parents. She believes that; people who leave the world will become stars. Talking with stars was her only solace. She had a strong faith that her talks are heard.

From tomorrow onwards, her life is going to change upside down. (SHE WAS NOT WRONG) She is going to take a mother's place in someone's life. (SHE WAS RIGHT) She will get someone who she can say HERS. (SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT)

But... not in the way she is expecting. Her life is going to change in OVERNIGHT. She is going to be treated by Arnav like anything, taking the next place to his mother. And she will get a man who is going to be hers... forever...

Khushi (looking at the sky): Amma, Babuji... I'm going to get married tomorrow. Right or wrong, hard or easy, good or bad, give me strength to face it. Make me understand my life partner. Give me the strength to handle all the situations. I know you will be watching me wherever I go. Bless me for a peaceful life.

Though it was a late-night Arnav was not on the bed. He didn't get sleep. A man who came to Lucknow with a "target" was also looking at the sky unusually. He came to Aman's room and knocked on the door.

Aman opened the door with sleepy eyes. He just fall sleep finishing all the arrangements. His sleep fled away seeing Arnav.

Aman: ASR.... I have finished everything to stop Khushiji's marriage.

Arnav: No... I changed the plan.

Aman (surprisingly): Change of plan?

Arnav: Yup...

Aman didn't ask him WHY.

Arnav: Hope you would have found Kishan's house.

Aman: Yeah...

Arnav: Let's go.

Aman: Now?

Arnav: Yeahhhh.... Any problem?

Aman: Certainly not... Two minutes ASR...

He grabbed a decent dress and got changed. Aman wanted to know; why Arnav changed the plan. But he couldn't ask him WHY. He will get to know by himself if Arnav says about his plan.

Somewhere he was scared too. What if Arnav wanted to kidnap Kishan? Or is he going to threat Kishan? Aman was squeezing his poor brain.

Actually, Arnav was planning to continue the ad sequence. That's what he instructed to Vimla and others. But now, he changed the plan. But why?

Arnav started his white SUV and two guards guarded their car by bike. Within thirty-five minutes, they reached Kishan's house. There was no traffic as it was mid-night. Kishan opened the door and frowned at Aman.

Kishan: Who are you?

Aman: We need to talk to you.

Kishan: We?

Aman showed his thumb towards the side where Arnav was sitting on his car bonnet, rotating the car key, looking at the floor. His attitude is enough for Kishan to understand his standard. The car and guards with bike told him more about Arnav. He came to Arnav and stood curiously to know what this FIRST-RATE man wants to talk to him.

Arnav: How much do you want to drop your marriage?

He hit him directly. "Beating around the bush" was never ASR's style. Kishan was shocked. He didn't know what to replay. He wanted to deny. But.... Wait... What did he ask? "HOW MUCH"? Will he give him money? How much will he give?

Kishan: Why should I drop the marriage?

Arnav: Because I want it.

Kishan: But why do you want to stop the marriage?

Arnav: I'm not going to stop the marriage but I want you to drop... understand?

Kishan: But...

Arnav(cutting him): I asked you how much you want...

Kishan thought for a few seconds. He already signed the documents. He accepted Vidya's condition seeing Khushi's beauty. But now he was cursing himself for signing the documents going with Vidya's words. After all, it was forty lakhs property. He is not going to get a penny from Vidya for sure. This man is looking RICH. Why should he leave the chance to get money? How much he will give? Will he give ten lakhs?

Kishan was about to ask for TEN lakhs. But Arnav's next stance chocked him.

Arnav: I will give you one crore to drop the marriage.

Kishan felt dizzy.

Kishan(shockingly): One croooore....? But why Sahib?

Aman: It's none of your business.

Kishan: yeah... it's not my business. You do whatever. Just tell me what I have to do and how. (pause) When will you give me money?

He grinned.

Arnav looked at Aman. He brought a "case" from the car and handed it to Kishan.

Aman: It's fifty lakhs. You will get remaining after completing your job.

Kishan: Jee Sahib....

He opened the case and grinned ear to ear, seeing money.

Aman: You have to do what we say.

Kishan: Yes Sahib...

Aman: Don't forget, it should remain between us. if you try to cheat on us... (looking at the guards) Dev... Raj...

He called. They came and stood beside Aman removing their guns. Kishan gulped.

Kishan: No no. you don't have to bother about me. Why will I go against you? I will be grateful to you, Sahib. One crore is not a small matter to me.

Aman directed Kishan, his role. He nodded ok.

Kishan: you go and sleep peacefully, Sahib.... I will do everything perfectly.

Arnav jumped from the bonnet and got inside the car. Starting the engine, he drove off. Kishan hugged the case with a face full of teeth.

In the car

Aman: What's next, ASR?

Arnav: I have spoken to the commissioner...

Aman: Commissioner?

Arnav: For our safer side. If needed...

Aman nodded yes.

Arnav: The plan is...

Arnav explained his plan. Aman wanted to kiss Arnav, hugging him as tight as possible. His facial expression told how happy he was. This is the first time, ever in his experience, Arnav changed his plan completely and it was not hard for Aman to understand WHY? He is reducing the risk factors. Definitely, Arnav is not doing this in fear. He would have analyzed Khushi's condition. That's what should have made him change the plan. Anyways, he was damn happy. He couldn't hold himself from conveying it to Arnav.

Aman: I'm so happy about your change of plan, ASR. I'm sure; it will not hurt Khushiji more. And...

Arnav (cutting him): And she will not hate me more. Right?

He smirked.

Aman gulped. So ASR understood the reality. He knows there is a possibility for Khushi to hate him. That's why he is clearing the path to reach Khushi Gupta. But... don't know how the girl will react to it.

The marriage was being arranged in a Temple because neither Vidya nor Kishan was ready to spend more money on marriage.

Khushi got down from the auto with Vidya and Reshma. Vidya frowned seeing Vimla in the Temple. Why does she come so earlier even before them? Vimla smiled at them. Khushi took her bag out from the auto. Vimla got it from her.
