Part 4 

There was an amazing response to Arnav's ad. People started calling Aman, within an hour. Aman faced a tough time to deal with people because most of the information is sham and it was just for money. Aman asked them to meet him with proof. Few people approached him with those proofs, Khushi's school watchman, her area grocery shop owner, her cardiologist's compounder and her neighbor Vimla.

Aman called Arnav and conveyed the matter who just came out of the swimming pool relaxing. He became curious hearing Aman.

Aman: ASR I have collected needed information about Khushiji.

Arnav: Did you send the informers?

Aman: No, they are still here.

Arnav: I will be there in few minutes.

Aman(nervously): ASR....

Arnav: Yeah...

Aman: We have to act fast.

Arnav: Anything serious?

Aman: Yes... Tomorrow is Khushi's marriage.

Arnav (shockingly): Whaaaat!

Aman: Her stepmother has arranged her marriage with a widower who is a father of two children.

Arnav: What the f...

He gritted his teeth.

Aman: Though I have collected all the important details you can inquire them in person, separately if you want.

Arnav: Give me ten minutes.

He disconnected the call. Aman knew why Arnav asked for ten minutes. He wants to cool down himself as his blood would have boiled hearing about Khushi's marriage with a widower. He was right.

Arnav sat on the steel chair closing his eyes. Since he saw her pic, he couldn't say how restless he was. He doesn't know, whether it was she or her smile has done magic on him. He was worried thinking about that "Am I turning into a LOVER?" Neither had he had any sleep nor peace. It seems like, she has stolen his sleep. Restlessness troubled him to the core. Thoughts about Khushi awaken a pain inside him. He was afraid to accept that he likes her. He couldn't fall for her until he gets sure of her feelings for him because one side involvement would only give pain like "his mother's case". He doesn't want to do the same mistake which his mother did.

At the same time, he became furious. How could she agree to marry someone? How his mother's Heart allowed her to accept it? He opened his eyes firmly, getting the reality. It's HIS responsibility to get Khushi not his mother's. His mother had shown his destiny, giving her heart to Khushi. Her part is OVER. It's him who should find the right path to reach her.

He went to meet those persons who were waiting for him.

Aman saw him coming. Arnav stood in front of him.

Arnav: You were so worried about me and Khushi's age difference... weren't you?

Aman frowned couldn't get Arnav as he was so tensed about Khushi's marriage.

Arnav: She is ready to marry a greybeard....with two children.

He sneered making Aman gulp hard.

Arnav: What the hell is this?

Aman: Her stepmother, Vidya is the reason. Because Khushi's father wrote a will in Khushi's favor.

Arnav: Means...?

Aman: She lost her parents ASR. Gupta house is on Khushi's name. She can sale it only after her marriage and her husband's sign is a must to sale the property. That's why Vidya is making her married to a man who is fine with her condition.

Arnav: Who gave the information?

Aman: Khushi's neighbor Vimla.

Arnav: Is she here?

Aman: Yup...

Arnav: Call her.

Aman gestured a guard to bring her. In few seconds, Vidya came from the nearby room.

Vidya: Namaste jee.

Aman: Tell him about Khushi and her family.

Vimal: Khushi lost her mother when she was three years old and her father passed away when she was in high school. She is a good girl. She obeys all the elders, especially Vidya her stepmother. She never treated her with love. But Khushi never complained about it to her father. Shashi Bhai knew about Vidya. He wrote the property in Khushi's name so that Vidya has to take care of her until her marriage. Khushi had a problem in her heart. Vimla tried to get her married, without treating her, to get the property, before she dies. But Khushi was not ready to cheat on a relationship. (Arnav smirked) She cried a lot. That's why Vidya did her heart plantation without any choice. Now, she arranged her marriage.

Arnav looked at Aman.

Aman: Is Khushi is fine with this marriage?

Vidya: Who cares about her wish, Bituwa? She should do what Vidya says. She has no choice.

Aman felt bad for Khushi. He looked at Arnav whose expression was stony.

 Vimla was about to say something, Aman stopped her showing his palm. Taking a few seconds, Arnav had done decided what to do. He took a deep breath closing his eyes and opened getting cleared.

Arnav: Answer my question.

Vimla: Jee...

Arnav: Where did she study?

Vimla: Kasturi Bhai Girls School.

Arnav: Who is her close friend?

Vimla: Preeto.

Arnav: Who is her cardiologist in Lucknow?

Vimla: Dr. Mahendra Sen

Arnav looked at Aman. Aman gave her fifty lakhs. Vimla's face lightened like ever before.

Vimla: You said only ten lakhs...

Arnav: This money is for what you are going to do...

Vimla: Long live Raizadaji....

Arnav: You have to do what I say.

Vimla(happily): Anything for you Raizadaji...

Arnav told her what to do. She nodded ok and left the place, thanking her unexpected fortunate.

Aman looked at Arnav for his next order. Arnav walked left to right for a few seconds. He stood, looking at Aman firmly.

Arnav: Who are remaining?

Aman: Khushi's School Watchman, Her area Grocery shop owner, and her cardiologist's compounder.

Arnav: Call them.

Aman called them and Arnav asked them a particulars. Arnav told them what they have to do. They agreed to him. He signaled Aman and Aman gave them ten lakhs as per the ad making them damn happy.

Arnav: I want you to be at the marriage venue on time.

Trio: Sure... we will be there before time.

Arnav: Don't forget what I said.

They nodded OK and left after blessing Arnav.

Aman: We can stop the marriage easily without making any fuss, ASR.

Arnav: How?

Aman: As Vidya is greedy, she herself will stop the marriage for money.

Arnav: I don't want to make her happy. How heartlessly she has been arranging Khushi's marriage...

Aman: But... Khushi obeys her...

Arnav: Didn't you hear what people said? Khushi is a good girl. She will get angry on me for the "ad" which I published even though if I get her through Vidya.

Aman: But, for Vidya, Khushi will accept you.

Arnav(gritting his teeth): How? Like, she agreed to marry an oldie with two children? She will even agree to marry a beggar if Vidya wants. I don't want to be in that bloody list. I don't want her to accept me for Vidya. And I know when and how to use Vidya's greediness. She is the only trump card I have.

Aman(confused): Trump card?

Arnav: Yup. Forget Vidya. Do what I say.

Aman: Yeah...

Aman heard Arnav silently.

Arnav: Got it?

Aman nodded yes and was about to leave the place,

Arnav: Don't you have any problem with my plan?

Aman: I just want her to come out of the marriage ASR. Poor girl... I can't understand how a woman could dare to get her married in a few days of her heart plantation.

Arnav gulped hard.

Aman: But ASR....

Arnav raised his eyebrows like, "what?" Aman nodded "NO" making Arnav wondered. He was about to leave the place, Arnav stopped him.

Arnav: Wait...

Aman looked at him.

Arnav: What do you want to say?

Aman: I'm really nervous ASR...

Arnav: Nervous? And Aman?

Aman: I won't... if it is not about YOU...

Arnav (smirking): Really?

Aman: It won't be easy to make Khushi understand you. You will face a hard time with her.

Arnav: Yup... she would have started worshiping the oldie as of now. Let's see what Khushi Kumari Gupta does...

He said furiously.

Aman looked at him panicking. Is he planning to TEST Khushi? Of course, ASR won't trust anyone without examining. Aman faced a tough time to get Arnav's trust. If he examines a manager to that extent then no need to say about how he will test his life partner. That thought itself made him shiver.

The way Arnav is going to get Khushi will definitely hurt Khushi. Don't know how Khushi Kumari Gupta is going to understand Arnav and face his different types of approaches because no one can predict Arnav that what he is EXPECTING and what not.

Khushi was standing near the window, looking at the sky... looking at her parents. She believes that; people who leave the world will become stars. Talking with stars was her only solace. She had a strong faith that her talks are heard.

From tomorrow onwards, her life is going to change upside down. (SHE WAS NOT WRONG) She is going to take a mother's place in someone's life. (SHE WAS RIGHT) She will get someone who she can say HERS. (SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT)
