Malik Residence

Asha's face drained in anger, seeing the documents. It was Arvind's will. Content of the will is, "After Arvind's death, Malik properties will go to ONLY his son Arnav Singh Raizada".

Asha fumed in anger and came downstairs with the same wrath. She threw it on Arvind who is checking a mail on his mobile. He looked at her gritting his teeth.

Arvind: What the hell....?

Asha: I'm also asking the same. What the hell is this?

Arvind(casually): It's my will.

Asha: what about me and my daughter?

Arvind: You already have enough for your future.

Asha: What do you mean?

Arvind: You have a tea estate in Assam, a bungalow in Mumbai, Diamond and Gold jewels worth Rs10 crore...

Asha: That's all my savings... What will you give me?

Arvind(sarcastically): Savings? Really? Without me, how could you have saved those? Do you have other men in your life?

Asha: Shut up...

Asha's eyes got rooted in seeing her daughter Tina standing with shocking expression. Arvind regretted, seeing her. He was supposed to leave the place, but stopped hearing Tina...

Tina: I didn't expect this Dad... you shouldn't have told that to Mom. She is your wife. How could you say so?

Asha(panicking): Beta, he just...

Tina showed her palm towards Asha and rushed to Arvind. She clutched his collar.

Tina: Why Dad? You are always partial with us? Even though being with us your mind and heart always wanders your son and first wife. Are not we your people? It's you who married my mom secondly. What was her mistake? It's you who is selfish here. You left your son and wife for my mother. She married you because she loves you and trusts you Dad.

Tina's anger rose into no limit seeing him gulping.

Tina (shaking his collar): Why Dad? Why..... are... you partial with us? Are not we your heirs? Am I not your daughter?

Arvind (calmly): You are not...

Tina's eyes went wide open.

Arvind (removing her hands from his collar): You are not my daughter and your mother is not my wife. You are her husband's daughter. I never married her and she never wanted it. We are just leaving together. I left my wife and son for your mother... because she came leaving her husband. I came leaving my wife and son because I didn't want her to be on the road with a girl child... that's you. And more than that, my wife and son were not ready to accept a cheater like me. That's why I got stuck with your mother.

Tears started rolling down from Tina's eyes.

Arvind: I have lost my wife. My son left like an orphan even though having parents. Here, you were growing up like a princess who doesn't have rights on me and my wealth. I'm not saying these to hurt you. I have no problem to give my initial to someone's daughter. But your mother is crossing her limit which is not acceptable. I hope you will understand because you are not like your mother.

Tina closed her face with her palms and cried. Maybe, she was not like her mother. Asha stood regretless. Arvind hugged Tina.

Arvind: I'm sorry I hurt you but you have to know the truth. Or else, one day it will affect you badly.

Tina (sobbing): Am I not your daughter? Can't I call you Dad? I don't want your property but don't say I'm not your daughter. Don't say I can't call you Dad.

Arvind (sadly): You can... I just don't want you to be like your mother. That's all.

They heard calling bell sound. Tina wiped her face and rushed to open the door, making herself. She frowned seeing Mrs. Yamuna Thiwari standing. She is Asha's Ladies Club mate and an opponent to Asha. She always apposes Asha no matter what. Why she is here? Tina suspected that she was here to trouble Asha. And she was right. Yamuna came inside all smiling.

Yamuna: Hello Mr. Malik...

Arvind smiled at her.

Asha (irritatingly): You here?

Yamuna: I want to tell you something very important. I saw Arnav today morning.

Asha: What's so important in that?

Yamuna: I saw him in the temple... that's what important here.

Asha: Arnav and Temple?

Yamuna: Don't ask me what he had done...

She said as if she won't tell if she asks.

Yamuna: My cheeks are burning in shyness when I think the scene.

Asha and Arvind frowned at her. What Arnav did that she feels shy?

Yamuna: I was so surprised, seeing him in the Temple. I was about to greet him but he went to a girl who was praying, standing under the tree.

Now Asha was curious.

Yuman: What he did with her is highlight here. He lifted her in his arms as if she is a doll.

She said excitedly.

Asha(shockingly): Whaaaaat!

Yamuna: As the girl didn't expect him doing that. She asked him to put her down. Do you know why he scooped her in his arms?

Asha was looking at her without answering as she was not come out of the shock yet.

Yamuna: Because the floor was hot. How sweet.....?

Asha: Who is she?

Yamuna: That's what matters. She said, "leave me. This is not your house". His reply made me bamboozled.

Asha: What he replied?

Yamuna: "But you are my WIFE and I can't see you getting hurt". How caring he is...?

Asha shrank her eyes thinking deeply.

Yamuna: If she said, "this is not your house". That means, he always roams taking her in his arms at house. Am I right Malikji?

Arvind was silent. He also was in shock but totally different from Asha.

Yamuna (dreamingly): How romantic... people around them got freeze seeing the scene. I had seen such a scene in a TV serial ISS PYAR KO KYA NAAM DOON. Barun lifts Sanaya in the serial so romantically. (she showed her arms like lifting) Arnav also looked like Barun with stern expression. His eyes spoke volumes as same as Barun, you know? It's visible that he loves his wife very much. (sighing helplessly) I would have given my daughter's hand to Arnav if I had known his romantic side.

Yamuna was hoping inwardly seeing Asha's expression.

Yamuna: His wife looks so naïve, so beautiful and so simple. Poor boy... he was left alone in a foreign country for years. He lost his mother as well. (she looked at Arvind from corner of her eyes while uttering it) I hope he will get all the love from his wife which he missed in his life. (pause) Ok guys, I'm getting late. I'm leaving... bye...

She left Malik Residence as her MISSION of "making Asha's stomach burn", got over.

Asha was in extreme confusion. Who is the girl? Does Arnav love the girl to that extent that he lifted her in his arms just to protect her from the hot floor, without caring about people around them? Why suddenly he shows extreme care and love for a mere girl? What's the connection between them? Did Ratna select her for Arnav before her death? What the hell? Nothing seemed clear for Asha.

Asha looked at Arvind who was in deep thought. She knew Arvind won't spill the beans at any cost but it seems like he also knows nothing about Arnav's relationship with the girl. Maybe, he also doesn't know anything about Arnav's wife. Yes, Arnav never respected Arvind? But she believed, Arvind will do research on it.

Khushi didn't get sleep that night. She was rolling on the bed. She couldn't believe that someone is in love with her because no one loved her except her father. She couldn't even think what Arnav is showing for her can be love.

According to her, Giving Roses, Writing letters, speaking Love dripping dialogues, gifting a ring going on his knees are what LOVE. She couldn't consider, this kind of rude behavior can hold LOVE in it. He married her in an unexpected way. He got angry when she spoke about touching her on their first night. He made her eat forcefully. He lifted her in his arms to the car ignoring people around them. Were those all Love? She pressed her chest as her Heartbeat rushed faster like ever before. She closed her eyes tightly.

As Uditha said, if there is a reason for Arnav to marry her, Khushi wanted to know the reason. But what could be the reason? Who is he? What's his background? She wanted to know everything.

Next Morning

Khushi was still sleeping as she slept late. She felt the sun rays on her face. She opened her eyes slowly. Her eyes went wide open seeing Arnav in front of her. She sat on the bed hurriedly. Arnav extended Khushi's tablets towards Uditha.

Arnav: She has to take it before meal.

Uditha nodded OK.

Khushi was looking at him not blinking. Arnav looked at her and then her leg. He rearranged the pillows correctly which were under her leg. He did that slowly and cautiously.

Khushi felt "something new" in his touch unlike before. She gulped, not taking her eyes off him. Arnav tilted his head towards her side, feeling "gust of Air" on his face. He forgot himself in her hazel as those delivered a soft gesture towards him. Why she is looking at him in a new way? He had heard about "butterflies in the stomach" and laughed. Now, he was suffocating in the "butterflies" feeling. He really felt something in his stomach.

Both of them were looking at each other forgetting to blink. "First ever eye lock of their life" Arnav got his consciousness back as his phone rang. He attended it without taking his eyes from Khushi. He was surprised seeing her stealing his glances while him talking on the phone. Why there was a change in her gesture? He supposed. He disconnected the call.

Arnav(looking at Uditha): Will you manage, making her fresh-n-up?

Uditha nodded YES hesitatingly.

Arnav: Call me if you want my help.

Uditha: Jee...

Arnav left the room after taking Khushi's glance. Khushi looked at him expecting him to look back. She blinked her eyes softly when he looked at her before leaving the room.

Butterflies Again

Aman got stuck seeing Arvind Malik standing in front of him. He went lack of words. Though he doesn't like the man in front of him he welcomed him.

Arvind: I'm glad that you greeted me.

Aman: I'm ASR's manager. I know how to respect people.

He snapped him.

Arvind took seat whereas Aman stood in front of him, joining his fingers. He somewhat guessed why Arvind Malik is here.

Arvind: I heard Chotte got married...

There... his guess was right. Aman stood silent.
