3rd Person POV

Eury parked in front of the driveway, her motorcycle behind Blake's. She quickly rushed into her house, finding her mom packing and her sister's arguing with their dad.

"Ah Eury, you finally made it." Titania said.

"Yeah..what's going on?" Eury asked.

"What's going on is mom and father are getting a divorce." Blake snapped.

"Oh, uh.. Interesting." Eury said, unsure how to react.

"Is that all you have to say you little bitch?! How is that interesting?! Our own parents are getting a divorce and you think it's interesting?! I feel sick to call you my sister!" Blake exclaimed angrily, slapping Eury.

"...I mean, I'm not sure how to respond.." Eury said, her hand against the area where Blake slapped her.

"Then don't say anything!! No one likes your voice anyways, it sounds horrible!" Blake said, glaring murderously at her. Eury mumbled something Blake couldn't comprehend. "What did you say, bitch?!"

"Nothing." Eury said,simply.

"I don't even want to know. It was probably something stupid just like everything else you say!" Blake said coldly.

"Okay, girls, let's all calm down." Titania said, "Remember we need to make a decision on which parent we should stay with."

"Right." Blake said, calming down a bit.

"Why does it matter what we say?" Eury said.

"Oh my God, you're so stupid, just keep your mouth shut." Blake said. Eury stayed quiet.

"I think I'm going with father." Titania said.

"Me too." Blake said, agreeing with her.

"What about you, Eury?" Titania asked.

"I'll go with mom." Eury said.

"Of course you will. You're just as weak and pathetic as she is." Blake said.

"She was a better parent than dad, at least." Eury retorted.

Blake punched her in the face. "Father is a great parent you little bitch!"

"He neglected his family in the privacy of our home! He never cared about any of us! At least mom actually gave a shit! I'm glad their divorcing, Mom is too good for an asshole like him!" Eury said.

"Looks like I'll have to teach you a lesson after all!" Blake exclaimed and she pulled her up the stairs into Eury's room. Then Blake proceeded to beat the shit out of Eury. Eury was too weak to defend herself and she whimpered and screamed in pain, begging her sister for mercy.

"Stop stop!" Eury exclaimed, crying. "Please!"

"You should've thought about the consequences before being the annoying little shit you are! You're such a slut too, I bet you opened your legs to anyone who comes by. Poor Fern got stuck in your trap, you must've forced her to have sex with you, no one would willingly do that with you. You even had sex when you were a little kid, disgusting little bitch! You should just die, it'd be better for everyone!" Blake exclaimed. Eury stayed silent.

"Blake! Stop! You're gonna kill her if you continue!" Titania said, barging into the room. Blake gave Eury one last kick in the stomach then walked away without saying anything. Eury tried to sit up but fell back down painfully coughing up blood while Titania walked out of the room after giving Eury a pitiful look.

"Come on..we're so close.." Fern mumbled, anxious to get there.

"There!" Alex exclaimed, pointing at the house. Donny quickly drove to and parked.

"Go!" Donny said to Fern. She nodded and got out, rushing to the door and inside. Blake was the first to notice Fern.

"Fern! Hi, how are you baby?" Blake said excitedly.

"Not now Blake." Fern said, looking around for Eury.

"Why what's wrong baby?" Blake asked, concerned.

"Don't call me that, we aren't a thing. And I'm looking for Eury, your sister." Fern said.

"Baby, we both know I can make you feel a lot better than she ever could. Just come back to me. I'm not mad at you for leaving." Blake said, putting her arms around Fern holding her close.

"No thanks. I prefer her, even if we can't do it. I'd much rather have her." Fern said, pushing Blake away. "And I swear to god if you did anything to her." Fern glared at Blake.

"Why do you even care about her?! She's nothing compared to me! What does she have that I don't?!" Blake yelled at Fern.

"A better connection to me, than you. You always used violence to get your ways, she doesn't." Fern said, going upstairs.

"Hey Blake, long time no see." Alex said, walking in with the others. She glared at his smug look.

"What the fuck do you want?!" Blake exclaimed.

"Just came to check up on Eury." He said.

"Why does everyone care about her?! She's nothing!!" Blake said angrily.

"Because she's our friend." Alex said, simply, walking past Blake and up the stairs. "You guys wait down there."

"Like hell I'm letting you get out of my sights!" Donny said, running up to him.

"Fine, but the others stay down." Alex said.

"Eury, it's okay, you're going to be okay." Her mom said, trying to soothe Eury. "The ambulance will be here soon, it's okay."

Fern came into the room, "Hi Mrs. Porter, have you seen-" She stopped herself when she saw Eury on the ground and screamed. "EURY OH MY GOD WHAT HAPPENED?!"

"It's okay,an ambulance is coming." Her mom said, still trying to calm Eury down.

Fern wrapped her arms around Eury and said softly, "It's gonna be okay, you're gonna be okay, I'm not gonna let anything happen to you."

"What the fuck?" Alex exclaimed, standing at the door. "What the hell happened?"

"Blake happened." Fern said angrily, still hugging Eury.

"Hell no, we'll teach her not to fuck with Eury like this." He said, angrily walking back down stairs.

"Why the fuck would you nearly kill Eury!?" Alex exclaimed, "She has to be transported to the hospital!"

"She did what?!" Skyler yelled.

"Oh my God, is Eury gonna be okay?!" Rose asked. An ambulance pulled up and a group of paramedics rushed in with a stretcher, going up the stairs. They came out of the building with a beaten-up Eury on a stretcher and put her in the ambulance. Her mother and Fern sat in the ambulance with her and it drove away.

"See!? You fucking nearly killed her!" Alex shouted.

"You bitch! Why would you do that?! What is wrong with you?!!" Skyler yelled at her.

"Alright, everyone back up from the murder scene." Summer said.

"Where's the body?" Rose asked sarcastically.

"Wait for about half an hour and you'll see it." Summer walked up to Blake smirking. "It really sucks for you that the ambulance left. Now it's time for you to feel what Eury did." Then Summer punched her in the face. Blake shoved Summer away from her. "Oh wow, you're weaker than I thought." Summer said after kicking her in her stomach and Blake fell to the ground.

"Stop before I make you regret it!" Blake exclaimed.

"I'd like to see you try," Summer said, laughing darkly, kicking her in her stomach again. Blake grabbed her ankle and pulled her down. "Bad idea," Summer punched her in the face and stood back up quickly. "Get up!" Blake didn't get up, clutching her stomach with one arm. "Do I really have to do all the work?" Summer pulled Blake up by her hair and slapped her to the ground. "Now. Get. Up."

Blake got up and grabbed Summer by the hair, attempting to throw her face first into the ground. "Nice try." Summer said dryly. Then she wrapped her hand around the other girl's throat and squeezed hard.

Blake clawed at the hand that was choking her and wheezed, "I'm..s..sorry."

Summer let go of her reluctantly letting her fall to the ground, knowing that she couldn't kill her no matter how badly she wanted to and said, "You better be. Otherwise next time I won't let go."

"That was just a small taste of what you did to Eury." Alex said to her. "Let's go guys, and go see if Eury's gonna be alright."

Everyone sat inside the car and Donny drove off, leaving an injured Blake on the ground.

Fern and Eury's mom waited anxiously in the waiting room.

"I'm so sorry this happened, Mrs. Porter." Fern said.

"Call me Veronica, and I'm not Mrs. Porter anymore, I'm Ms.Sukadi. We got a divorce." Her mom said, not really fazed by the divorce, "Under my terms."

"O-oh..is Eury going to live with you?" Fern asked.

"I'm not sure, she hasn't told me her answer." Ms.Sukadi said, "If she does, we'll stay here in this city, but if she doesn't, she'll move to a different city more North from here."

"I'm sure she'll stay with you. You seem to actually care about her, unlike some of her family." Fern said.

"This is the second time Blake's fighting affected Eury this severely." She said, sighing.

"Second? What happened the first time??" Fern said, struggling to stay polite.

"The first time was when Eury was 8, her brother was murdered, so we had a funeral in his honor, and after, a lot of the family blamed her for it. Especially Blake. She beat Eury and ended up concussing her and giving her a broken arm." She said.

"Why is she so violent towards Eury?!" Fern asked angrily.

"I don't really know, I know Blake used to be bullied at school, and one time she started a fight with them, she won, and I guess she considered that a stress reliever and well, it's hard not to admit, Eury is pretty weak, so she picked on Eury specifically since Eury is weaker." She said, "I think."

"Well that's horrible! She must've felt horrible when she was bullied, she should consider that she's hurting Eury that way she was hurt!" Fern said.

"Well, I guess it got way worse after the murder and a some sort of break up, I don't know who she was dating, but it hit her pretty hard and she became really upset." Ms. Sukadi said.

"That's no reason for her to hurt Eury!" Fern exclaimed.

"I don't know what's with her, really, I don't know." She said.

"Ms. Sukadi?" A doctor asked, stepping into the waiting room.

"Yes, doctor? How is she?" Ms. Sukadi asked, concerned.

"She is out of danger for now but she's been heavily injured. She has fractured ribs, a broken arm, and a twisted wrist. She lost a lot of blood but we gave her a blood transfusion." The doctor said.

"Can we go see her?" Fern asked.

"If you'd like, but she's unconscious at the moment." He said. Fern nodded and Ms. Sukadi and Fern went into her room.

"Eury please don't die!!" Fern said, putting her hand on Eury's.

"Oh no, Eury.. I'm so sorry this happened..we should've been better parents." Her mom mumbled.

"Please, you have to live. Come on, you have to, please." Fern begged, the stupid girl not understanding that she was unconscious and not dead but she still couldn't hear anything.

"Fern! Is she okay?!" Alex exclaimed, coming into the room.

"The doctor said she's gonna be okay." Fern said.

"Oh thank god, can she hear us?" Alex asked.

"No, she's unconscious." Ms. Sukadi said. "I'm her mother, Veronica, and you are..?"

"Oh, I'm Alex, her fake ex-boyfriend." Alex said,simply.

"Fake ex?" MS. Sukadi looked at Fern for an explanation.

"...Yup." Alex said.

"I'm Donny, his real boyfriend," Donny said.

"So why are you a fake ex..?" Ms. Sukadi asked, confused.

"We pretended to date each other because we didn't want other people to know that we're both really gay. There were no feelings involved, we were starting to hate each other to be honest." Alex explained.

"Oh, Eury is gay?" She asked.

"Very. She doesn't like guys in a sexual or romantic way at all." Alex said.

"I guess I should've expected it." Ms. Sukadi said.

"Uhh great, well we took care of Blake." Alex said. "So that should make you happy, right Fern?"

"Excuse you, we did not take care of Blake. I  took care of Blake." Summer said glaring at him.

"That does make me somewhat happy.." Fern said.

"Eury!" Ms. Sukadi said.

"W-what..?" Eury asked.

"Eury!!" Fern exclaimed.

"What happened..?" Eury asked, confused.

"Blake hurt you and you were rushed to the hospital in an ambulance." Fern explained.

"Wait! I'm in a hospital?! No no no, I need to leave!" Eury said, sitting up, but she immediately fell back down because of the pain.

"Eury, I don't even care if you hate me after this but you are going to stay here for as long as you have to whether you like it or not!" Fern demanded.

"I can't even go anywhere.." She mumbled, in pain. "Fuck everything hurts."

"Well, that's what the hospital is for. To help ease your pain." Fern said. Eury stayed silent, not sure how to respond. "Are you mad at me?" Fern asked.

"No, I'm not." Eury answered. "Just hurting."

"I'm sorry but you have to stay here. You need to get over your fear." Fern said.

"I know I know." Eury mumbled.

"Okay, well I'll be here with you the whole time." Fern said, assuringly. The doctor stepped into the room.

"Hello, Ms. Porter." He said, reading the clipboard.

"U-um..h-hello.." Eury stammered.

"So, from what I see, you'll be released tomorrow in the afternoon or evening. You'll probably have to take some pain killers every few hours, because of your fractured ribs." He said.

"S-so I have to s-stay here for another day?!" Eury exclaimed.

"Is that going to be a problem?" He asked.

"Nope no problem here!" Summer said. "She's totally fine with staying another day." He nodded.

"Oh and try not to cough or gasp, it'll hurt your ribs, also not too much physical activity." The doctor said. "Just don't do anything that will affect your chest." Eury nodded. "So it's dinnertime right now, here is the menu for you." He said, handing over the hospital food menu.

"So what would you like to eat?" the doctor asked about ten minutes later.

"..uh..." Eury mumbled, not wanting to order anything.

"Sorry what was that?" he asked.

"She said she wants some grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, a fruit cup, and lemonade." Fern said.

"Alright, we'll have that for you as soon as it's ready." the doctor said.

"Isn't that a bit much?" Alex asked.

"There is no such thing as too much food." Summer said. "Besides, have you seen hospital food? Everything's so tiny.. Anyways we should go now. I bet Eury doesn't want us here."

"As bad as you made that sound, I just don't like to be crowded," Eury said.

"Child, crowds are only of a bunch of strangers, not friends. Still, I'm out, I promised my friend I'd meet him today." Summer said, walking out.

"I guess that's our cue too, I'm their ride." Donny said.

"Well, you're definitely my ride." Alex mumbled, smirking at him.

Donny whacked his arm. "You've been hanging out too much with Summer."

Everyone walked out, leaving Ms. Sukadi and Fern in the room with Eury.

"I'm going to go look for that rather handsome doctor." Ms. Sukadi said, standing up.

"Mom, the divorce hasn't even been finalized..don't you think you're moving a little fast?" Eury asked.

"Oh come on, can't I live a little after being in a unhappy marriage for like what..16 years?" Ms. Sukadi said.

"Why didn't you get a divorce sooner if you were unhappy?" Fern asked.

"He blackmailed me a lot." She said, "He's rich, he can easily crush my life within a few minutes."

"Oh." Fern said. Ms. Sukadi nodded and walked out, looking for the doctor. Eury didn't say anything against it or anything in general. "So..how do you feel? Besides in pain.." Fern asked.

"I'm fine, I guess.. I'm sorry." Eury said,

"For what?" Fern asked.

"I worried you and didn't tell you what happened. And for-" Fern interrupted her.

"No stop. Don't. It wasn't your fault. It was all Blake's fault." Fern said. Eury was going to object, but then the doctor came in and set the food on the table next to Eury, then he left.

"Alright now you better eat this." Fern said, as she cut the chicken for Eury so she could feed her.

"I'm not hungry." Eury said.

Fern shoved a piece of chicken in Eury's mouth. Eury reluctantly ate the piece.

"I can feed myself.." Eury mumbled.

"Well it doesn't seem like you're gonna do that anytime soon." Fern said as she shoved another piece of chicken in Eury's mouth.

Eury was slightly surprised by the second time and coughed, covering her mouth. Ow, fuck, my ribs.."

"Eury EAT!! If you don't eat, you won't be able to heal and then you'll hurt forever!" Fern said exaggerating a lot.

"I said I wasn't hungry though.." Eury said.

"I don't care!" Fern exclaimed, shoving yet another piece of chicken in her mouth.

"Fern, come on, I'm not hungry." Eury said, after eating the piece Fern shoved in her mouth.

"You have to eat!!" Fern said, shoving a spoonful of mashed potatoes in Eury's mouth. Eury stopped objecting at that point and just let it happen. "There we go. Now you're gonna eat the rest of this." After about 20 minutes, Fern had managed to force feed her everything of the tray.

"Uh..thanks then, I guess.." Eury mumbled, "I guess your going home now then? To sleep."

"Nope! I'm gonna stay right here with you!!" Fern said cheerfully.

"But where will you sleep?" Eury asked.

"On this chair!" Fern said, smiling at her.

"But that would be uncomfortable! You don't have to stay, it's okay if you go home!" Eury said.

"I want to be here to make sure your okay." Fern said.

"U-uh okay.." Eury mumbled. Fern layed down on the bed next to Eury and hugged her gently.
