SUMMER VEGA'S POV

The seven of us were in Skyler's tiny peasant cottage. I had already texted my parents saying Rose and I wouldn't be home until tomorrow.

"This house is so cramped." Donny whined.

"Want us to throw you out into the storm without help?" Fern asked.

"Maybe I do." Donny snapped, glaring at her. Before anyone could do anything, I got in between them.

"Stop with the bullshit. We're in a storm room for god's sake, it's not supposed to be a mansion." I said to Donny, then turned to Fern. "And we aren't going to tear each other's throats out in a storm."

"Fine.." Donny mumbled.

"And what do you have to say Fern?" I asked her.

"You want me to say what I'm thinking?" She asked.

"No I want you to say an apology." I answered.

"You'll have to kill me first." She said and turned, sitting on the ground, slightly away from Eury. It was clear Eury was still miffed with Fern.

"You are acting like such a toddler right now, you immature little brat." I said simply.

We heard a loud crack of thunder.

"Oh shit we're gonna die!" Fern exclaimed, immediately ducking down, it was apparent she was afraid.

"You're scared of thunder?" I scoffed.

"I am not scared!" Fern exclaimed, defensively, her cheeks turning red from embarrassment.

"You very obviously are," I said back.

"Oh my god, it's a common phobia." Eury said,clearly agitated with the two of them. "Don't do any of this kindergarten teasing scenario."

"You just don't want me to tease your girlfriend!" I answered.

"Or maybe I don't want to hear the 5th argument of today." She said, standing up. "I don't care if it's raining, I'm just going to go home. My actual home."

"How the hell are you gonna go home? Didn't your parents make you leave?" I asked.

"They offered a negotiation." She said, standing up.

"What the-are you gonna leave in this weather?!" Rose exclaimed.

"Yes." She said, about to go up the stairs,but Fern ran to her stopping her.

Fern had her hands tightly gripped onto Eury's shoulder and Eury's hands were around Fern's wrists and both were obviously arguing.

"Stop being so stubborn about this! I apologized, many times!" Fern exclaimed.

"I'll stop when you realize how sorry doesn't make up for what you did." Eury said. "Especially with my trust issues."

"You only got those because you were raised on a high-horse with all your privileges and prestige family!" Fern said, unintentionally going there.

Something inside Eury snapped and she slapped the other girl across the face. DAMN WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?! "Do. Not. Go. There." She said, obviously upset.

Fern was speechless as she stared at Eury in disbelief. "Wh..d-did you just..hit me?" she asked, dumbfounded.

"I-I...fuck..." Eury mumbled, realizing what she had just done.

Fern slapped her without saying anything. Donny and Alex quickly got between the two before they could start to kill each other. Thank God, I did not want to break up another fight today.

"Okayy, you just head over here.." Donny said, leading Fern to the opposite side of the room by her shoulder. Alex sat Eury down on the stairs. There was an awkward silence in the room, everyone still dumbfounded with the stuff that happened.

"Uhh, I think we need to become relationship counselors and like...maybe help them..?" Skyler suggested. "Of course, Donny and Alex will be by them in case someone tries to kill the other. Yes..no? Seems like something Summer would do."

"Why do I feel like all of you guys will need a relationship counselor at one point or another?" I asked, sarcastically. I continued, "Whatever, I'm the only single person here so sure. I'm good at solving problems." Skyler told Alex and Donny the plan, telling them to have Fern sit in the chair, opposite from Eury.

Eury and Fern glared at the two boys and refused to do anything they said. It seemed as though they'd had enough and they forcefully grabbed both of them and shoved them into the designated chairs.

"Took you long enough," I mumbled. "You two need to stop being babies and talk it through in a civilized manner."

"What if I don't want to?" Fern exclaimed, angrily.

"Well guess what? You're still going to. Now, what's the damn problem?" I asked.

"The problem is she is being a child and getting all sensitive over me making her to go a hospital." Fern said. "And she slapped me!"

"Yeah, I saw. You didn't seem to mind about her being "a child" when we were at the hospital. "Oh no, Eury wouldn't like that. No, Eury's scared of that. No, Eury needs to be kept safe. No, Eur-" I taunted her.

"Okay, Okay I get it!" Fern exclaimed. "Maybe I just didn't notice how much of a child she was because I was too blind by love to see it."

"And I'm supposed to believe that you're in love at the age of 16? And that your "never-ending love" ended literally 4 minutes ago when you got into a petty argument?" I continued.

"I-" Fern tried to object again, but I interrupted her.

"And what about you, Eury? Why are you so upset by this?" I asked, ignoring the glare from Fern. Aww, she thinks she's intimidating..that's adorable. And annoying.

"Well, I'm upset because before Fern forced me to go to the hospital, I told her some intimate information that only my parents knew about.." Eury started. "And one secret I didn't tell my parents, Fern was the only person I trusted with it."

"Ok, but you're upset because..?? Because all you've told me so far is why you're so helplessly in love with your precious girlfriend." I said, plainly.

"Oh, well I'm upset because she betrayed my trust-in my opinion- and then proceeded to go to a sensitive topic in the argument." Eury explained.

"Big deal." Fern snapped.

"Hey shut your damn mouth. You're not speaking until I speak to you." I said angrily. That shut her up quickly. I turned back to Eury and said, "So what did she do that you think was betraying your trust?"

"Like I said before, I told her some personal secrets,then she proceeded to force me somewhere." Eury said. "Also, I have trust issues because of my schizophrenia,as well."

"Hmm.." I said. Alright, now what do I do? I should give them a solution or something right? "So what would you have preferred she did? And you can't say "not take me to the hospital" or anything like that."

"I would have preferred she..." Eury didn't know how to answer. "Um, I mean...I honestly don't know."

"Let me give you some choices then. Would you have preferred she lied to you and said she was gonna take you for food or something but she drives you to the hospital? Would you have preferred if she just forced you into the car and forced you into the hospital? Would you have preferred if she threatened you to go to the hospital? Or would you have preferred what actually happened?" I said.

"I would not have preferred any of those options." Eury said.

"So would you have preferred she let you die a slow and obviously painful death?" I asked coldly.

"You're not wrong." Eury said.

Alright, this isn't going how I imagined. Oh well, I can still make things happen the way I want them to. I turned back to Fern and started, "And you would've let her die a slow and painful death? Actually, let's just take a minute and imagine Eury screaming and sobbing, begging to be killed just because it hurts so much."

"Of course not!" Fern exclaimed. "Unless I had no arms and legs, I would do anything to get her help. Hell, I'd even do anything if I was just a head."

"And why's that?" I started getting aggressive. "I thought you hated her guts. You and her fought, she slapped you, now she's a bitch. Why would you even care about her? Look at her, she's pathetic. She can't do anything, she's too weak to even help herself. She doesn't even know how to take care of herself and-"

"She's not wrong." Eury mumbled,insecure from her comments. "Pretty accurate, actually."

"See what I mean." I kept going. "This pathetic little bitch can't even stand up for herself. She's too stupid to understand when she needs help, can't even breathe without needing to ask permission for it. Honestly, she's just so pathetic. What did you even like in her? There's nothing good about her anyways and-" I was interrupted by a fist to my cheek and I fell backwards.

"Don't you fucking say that." Fern said.

I stood back up, smirking as I said, "Why not? It's not like you care about her, right?"

"I..I'd do that for anyone." Fern said, stubbornly.

"Don't give me that bullshit, I didn't let myself get punched just to hear you start denying your feelings." I said, wanting nothing more than to punch her. "Now that you seem..more prepared to actually speak to each other, why not try now?" I pointed at the girl with the blue and black hair who was sitting awkwardly in the chair and looking at the ground.

"I uh..I'm sorry for slapping you." Fern said, nervously approaching her. Oh my God, they're so awkward, what the hell?! Just make out or something damnit! Things like this shouldn't be this hard!!

Eury stayed silent for a moment then pulled Fern into a kiss. Fern was taken aback at first, but then went with it. Okaaayy, I didn't actually think they'd kiss but this is sooo much better than some awkward, boring, cliche, mushy speech they'd have about "their never-ending love for each other".

"I'm sorry I was being a...bitch." Eury said, they hugged each other as they made up.

"Uh guys, I don't mean to interrupt, but it's safe to leave now." Skyler said. Eury almost immediately ran to the exit and pushed open the door, only to be engulfed in water that was covering the land above us. Alex and Donny basically died of laughter.

"Well, it was fun playing counselor but I'm so done with it for today. You two are together now right?" I asked Fern and Eury, who both nodded. "Ok, well, sorry about what I said Eury. I was just trying to rile her up. And you." I glared at Fern. "You better be sorry for hitting me otherwise I'll make you sorry." Fern nodded quickly.

"Wait, you didn't mean what you said?" Eury said. "Oh, I thought you were quoting my journals or something."

"Journals? What the.. No child, I didn't mean what I said. I guess I'm a better actor than I thought." I said.

"I didn't you were a good relationship counselor," Rose said teasingly. "And you say you're not good with emotions."

I blinked at her. "I'm not. It was pretty easy actually. Since Fern's the hot-headed one, she'd be likely to take my bait and Eury would just agree with what I say so that would make Fern even angrier. I just had to insult Eury a bit to see if Fern actually cared about her. 'Cause if she did, which we all saw she does, she'd have an extreme reaction, which we all saw and I felt. That," I pointed to where she hit me on my jaw, "luckily for you," I glared at Fern again, "won't bruise."

"So, Donny and I are just gonna sneak off for a "play-date" at his house." Alex said, stepping one foot out the door.

"You guys have a lot of "play-dates" don't try to hide it, we all know what you do." I said. "Fern and Eury are probably the same way."

"Uh...actually we haven't..I'm still a virgin." Fern said.

"What the..how? I lost it last year." I said. "And how are you still a virgin, wouldn't it be the other way around?" Eury look uncomfortable. "No way! You're not a virgin?! I'm shocked honestly. I didn't take you for that type of person, Eury!"

"Haha yeah..guess I am that type of person." Eury said, staring at her feet.

"Any of y'all need relationship counseling, I'm here!" I said.

"Yeah, I'm too addicted to him." Donny said,Alex whacked his arm. "What was that for?!"

"Isn't it the other way around?" Alex said. "My issue is he's not dominant enough."

"Oh, really? Last I remember, you were begging me to fuck you. And I have a good memory." Donny said smirking.

"Welllll I mean, that displays more of your submissive since you went along with it and also weren't initiating me to do so." Alex said, obviously trying to hold on to the last bit of his pride.

"Uh-huh. Fine then. I just won't do anything you say then. I only listened because you sounded so desperate. Anyway, if you wanted more, why didn't you just initiate things yourself?" Donny asked unfazed.

"Okayyy I know we are all apparently getting frisky here, but it's Tuesday morning at 5:54 A.M and school is a few hours away." Skyler interjected.

"Well, that's great. I'm not going to school in these clothes so I'm just gonna go home. We're still on for Truth or Dare this weekend right?" I asked. Everyone nodded. "Okay and you guys don't mind if I bring another friend of mine, do you? He's really fun, trust me."

"Alright, but if he makes one move on my boyfriend, he's dead." Alex said.

"Likewise, for Eury." Fern said.

"Y'all jealous as hell. Alex, calm down, he's straight, unlike literally everyone in this room." I said. "And I'm pretty sure Eury isn't his type."

"Is Fern his type?" Eury asked.

"Oh, Fern is definitely not his type." I said, quickly.

"That's good to know." Eury said.

"Haha you don't think he'd try to steal your precious girlfriend from you, do you?" I asked. "He's not that kind of person. I'm that kind of person. Except I don't want your girlfriend. Or you either. Or anyone in this room."

"That's nice..?" Donny said, unsure how to respond.

"For you, yeah." I said. "Welp, how about we all just skip school and I don't know, go somewhere or do something as a group?"

"Sounds good." Donny said.

"Hey, babe, weren't we busy?" Alex asked him.

"No, I don't think so, why did you have any plans?" Donny asked, playing dumb. Alex glared at him. "I'm just playing." Donny said, kissing the other boy's cheek.

"Okay, I get we love each other, but I think we should leave now." I said,walking out. "So we can go somewhere instead of here."
