My sorrows

Sorrow swallows my soul

Fear floods in, sky high

Time ticks on, the clock tolls

Dreading the day we say goodbye

Watching their wings spread in flight,

While sitting here trapped in night.

Locked in this cage all alone,

Unending darkness stretches on.

Forever here I shall roam,

All my hope is now gone.

Forest trees surrounding me,

Monsters from which I can't flee.

Lost in the dark, there's no escape.

I've waited far too long,

And now it's too late.
