Major - Shadow
"Ash Ketchum is the new Pokémon Master!" The TV blared before I turned it off.
"How wonderful." I shook my head and leaned back in my seat. "The famous twerp that always held Jessie, James, and Meowth up finally accomplished his life goal. I bet those three won't be happy." I mumbled to myself before my pager rang, telling me that the boss wanted to see me.
I stood up and walked out of my quarters, it better be a damn good reason for interrupting me on my Saturday off.
I walked into a large white room, a room I knew all too well. A man with brown hair and his Persian sat on a long black love seat couch in front of a large monitor. A woman with glasses stood about two feet to the right of the man.
"Agent Shadow." The woman spoke as I approached them. "We've been expecting you."
"I see." I walked along the edge of the room, coming across a vacant wheeled chair by a table piled with stacks of paper nonsense. I wheeled the chair out and sat on it as though it were a ponyta, treating the back of the chair as the Pokémon's head. I then pushed off rolling over towards the man and his Persian.
"Can't you act professional for once in your life?" The woman pressed her thumb and her forefinger of her right hand against her temples and rubbed them in circular motions as she sighed.
"Nope." I snickered, as I shook my head.
"That's enough." The man interrupted us, "you know why you're here. Don't you?"
"Of course I do, Giovanni sir." I rolled my eyes before shooting a glare at the Persian. "Go back in time and make sure the twerp doesn't choose that Pikachu that Jessie, James, and Meowth are so obsessed with...." I sighed.
"Good. Now if you encounter those three, remember that they haven't met you yet and don't know you're a Pokémon. So don't do anything stupid." I rolled my eyes at him, like I would do anything stupid. "Don't let me down Shadow."
"I'll try my best." I got up off my stallion and turned the white crystal - on the black wrist band on my right arm - to the left three notches. A bright, blunting light engulfed the area, sending me back to them good ol' days.

The light faded as I arrived in Palet Town, Kanto. First step, make sure the others can't choose their first Pokemon before the twerp does.
I ran to each of the houses, placing fake letters into the mailboxes. The letters explaining that they'd get their Pokémon the following day as the professor was taking a sick day today. For my sake, I hope this works.
As morning broke, I jumped into some nearby bushes to watch the plan unfold. Two of the trainers bought the fake letters, but one - the apparent grandson of the professor - took one look at the envelope and stormed straight for the Professor's lab. Really?
I sighed jumping out from behind the bush and dashing after the boy.
"Hey!" I yelled as I leapt into the air, full on body tackling the boy down to the ground. My illusion glitched ever so slightly as I felt the impact of the ground.
"What do you think you're doing?" He hissed as he attempted to push me off of him.
"Stopping you from making a huge mistake!" I growled, clinging onto his right leg as he got up. He growled back as he attempted to get to the Pokemon lab as fast as he could with me dragging behind him.

By the time he reached the front doors of the lab, Ash Ketchum - the target - was already inside. I smirked knowing that I had accomplished my mission. I released the boy's leg and he jolted into the lab.
"Gramps! Give me a pokemon!" He demanded, I rolled my eyes as I stood up and dusted myself off. Geez. What a brat.
"Hold on Gary, why don't you let Ash pick first. He was here first." Professor Oak spoke calmly.
"Grr. Fine." Gary crossed his arms as he shifted his weight onto his right leg. "My Pokémon is going to be the strongest and the best. So it doesn't really matter which one Ketchum chooses. I'll always be better." He mocked and I rolled my eyes.
Ash looked at the three pokeballs that sat on the table. He rubbed his chin as he looked them over.
"I thought about it all night and I know which one I'll choose!" He reached out and grabbed a pokeball. "Squirtle! I choose you!" He tossed the pokeball in the air before a bright red light came from it, a blue turtle Pokémon appearing before him.
"But I wanted Squirtle...." Gary groaned quietly, a smirk grew upon my face. "Oh well. Mine's still better!" He grabbed one of the two remaining pokeballs and tossed it in the air. "Come on out, Charmander!" Like the Pokémon before, an orange tiny dragon like Pokémon appeared in front of Gary.
I waited for the two to finish their little battle and get the supplies all new trainers get before going on their adventures. Once the boys had left, I walked over to the professor and tapped him on his shoulder.
"Professor Oak, I hear you have a Pikachu here. I would like to have it as my first Pokémon." I fibbed, trying to look cute and twerpish.
"Oh. Are you sure? Pikachu's quite a unique Pokémon, not quite suited for new trainers." I could tell he was hesitant.
"I can handle it. Please professor? I've always wanted a Pikachu to be my very first Pokémon." I pressed on. Finally he broke and melted like butter in my hands.
"Alright. But be careful." He opened a secret compartment and pulled out a pokeball with a lightning bolt symbol on it. I took it and smiled at him.
"Thank you, you have no idea how much this means to me." I gave him a fake smile before I let the pikachu out of it's pokeball.
"Pika?" The yellow electric mouse pokemon looked at me as it appeared. I bent down to it and offered a berry to the tiny little creature. Unlike all of the rumors that pathetic trio of Team Rocket had spread, the Pikachu did not shock me. Strange.
"Ready to go home little one?" I picked Pikachu up and walked out of the lab without waiting for the Professor's speal. As I stepped outside, the pikachu climbed onto my head and my fake smile turned to a real one. I turned the white crystal - on the black wrist band - to the right three notches and a bright blinding light engulfed us. I was headed home.

As the light faded, I noticed that the white room was strangely different. It still had the same furniture and decor as before, but this time, there was no Giovanni, Persian, nor that annoying woman. Where did they all go?
"Miss Shadow!" Team Rocket's Meowth ran over to me, I could tell that he was out of breath.
"Yes? Where is Giovanni and everyone?" I asked as I raised my brow in confusion.
"Giovanni? Do you mean Persain's human?" Meowth seemed to be confused.
"Yes. Why didn't you call him the Boss?" I questioned, stepping closer to him.
"Because he's not the boss. You are."
"I am?" I blinked trying so hard to wrap my brain around this concept. "What ever happened to the Ash Ketchum boy?"
"Ketchum? Well I, along with Jessie and James defeated his Squirtle pretty easily and stole it from him when the twerp blacked out." He explained, "you are the boss. After you defeated Persian's human, you created a rebellion and allowed Pokémon to be the masters instead. Now you are our boss and Pokémon all around the world are rebelling against their trainers."
I smirked darkly. Who knew a Zorua like me could cause so much trouble.
