Grand General - Frozen Heart
The ice cracked beneath me, and before I knew it; I had fallen in. I tried to gasp for air but water gushed in and filled my lungs like a raging waterfall. As I sunk in deeper, I could only see darkness. The darkness filled me with fear.
But then I saw it, the moon's light vanquished the darkness as my fears soon followed. I gasped for air as I floated out of the frozen water.
I was reborn as Jack Frost. A guardian.

I kicked a stone as I walked a long a Forest's path. I found a small lake and wandered around it for a while.
I heard a twig snap in the distance and froze. As the bushes rattled, I hid behind a nearby tree. The Easter Bunny's still mad at me for ruining his various egg hunts, I was not going to take any chances.
I eased up a bit as a woman stepped out from behind the bushes. I was intruiged by her presence, I didn't think anyone else would be out this far alone. Assuming that she couldn't see me, I moved out from behind my cover and slowly approached her. I wanted to get a better look.
She looked across the water before looking straight at me, she gasped before stumbling backwards.
"Who are you?" She whispered softly, surprised by my sudden presence.
"You can see me?" I asked, shocked that someone could actually see me.
"Yes." She looked a bit confused before sitting down next to me. "What's your name?"
"Jack... Jack Frost is my name." I replied, further analyzing the woman. "What's your name?"
"Elsa. I am Queen Elsa of Arendelle." She spoke with pride, though she didn't appear like any queen I've seen.
"Is that where I am? Aaron-Dale?" I tilted my head, holding my staff close to me while casually leaning against it. As a small smile crept upon Elsa's face, I knew that I had butchered the name.
"It's Arendelle." She corrected me.
"Aarin-daele?"
"Arendelle." She let out a soft laugh and a small smile formed upon my face.
"Arendelle." I casually began to float up as I leaned against my staff. "It's a nice place." I soon noticed as her gaze shifted from my face to my hair.
"You have white hair too?" Her voice rose with shock. She stretched her arm out to touch it, I sat back and let her. She wasn't tooth, but she was a girl.
"Yeah. But it wasn't always like that." I looked down, recalling my sister's face as I fell through the ice. "Jack, Jack!" I could still hear her voice in my head.
"Jack?" My sister's voice morphing into Elsa's made me snap out of my trance. "Are you alright?" Her eyes filled with concern and worry.
"Ah. Nah. I'm fine." I curled the corners of my mouth up to form a small, warm, smile. "So, how did you get your white hair?" I asked as I reached out to gently brush a loose strand off her face.
"I was born with it." Her cheeks pinkened as I brushed the strand away. There was a slight awkward silence before she spoke again, her cheeks returning to their normal colour. "I should be going, Anna will be getting worried." She stood up and turned away.
"Can I come with you?" I blurted out as I Too rose to my feet. "Besides, no one else can see me so... it'll be like I'm not even there."
"Alright." She let out a small sigh as a small smile formed upon her face soon after. "Come on." I then followed her to the castle.

I looked around the castle, it was huge. I noticed a fairly large man with blonde hair sharing a carrot with a reindeer. They have got to get a room. I shook my head as I casually slid by.
"Hi! I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs!" A voice out of nowhere startled me, I turned around to see a small-ish snowman waddling towards me with his stick arms out to the sides.
"I've seen a lot of strange things in my time as a guardian, but never a talking, walking, snowman." I thought aloud.
"Oh that's Olaf." Elsa walked over to us. "I made him." She smiled softly.
"You made him?" I looked over the living snowman, he even had his own little flurries. "That's amazing." I turned to her, "you have ice powers too?"
"I do." She smiled, love in her eyes. "Wait. Too? You have ice powers?" Her eyes widened.
"Yes. You wanna see?" I smirked deviously.
"Yes, please." She responded politely.
I held my staff and tapped the ground, Frost quickly formed an elegant pattern upon the earth. Her eyes sparkled at its beauty.
"Now it's my turn." She smiled as she rotated her hands in a circle, a light flurry forming between them. Raising her hands into the air, she sent the flurry high into the sky and soon it began to snow.
"Wow." I was in awe. "Say, where's Anna right now?" I asked, a plan forming in my mind.
"She's in a dress fitting." Elsa turned her back to me as she looked to her castle. I bent down and scooped up some snow.
"Let's have some fun." I mumbled under my breath, moulding the lump of snow into a ball. Gently, I blew a small icy wind onto it. Anyone who would get hit by it would instantly feel joy.
Without warning, I flung the ball of snow towards Elsa. As she turned to face me - to continue our conversations -, she moved which caused the snowball to speed past her and smash onto the talking snowman's face.
"Hey who turned out the lights?" He muttered before a large smile grew upon his face.
"Jack. What did you--" Elsa was cut off as another snowball splatted upon her back. She turned around to see that Olaf had an array of snowballs lined up to throw.
"Canonball!" The snowman roared as he began rapidly firing the balls of snow at will. Elsa ducked behind me in an attempt to use me as a shield.
What is she thinking? It'll just go through me.... I was jolted back to reality as a snowball went splat on my chest. I stared at it in confusion and with shock.
"How..." I mumbled under my breath.
"What's wrong Jack?" Elsa maneuvered to stand in front of me, looking me in the eye. My gaze shifted to hers and my cheeks pinkened slightly.
"Sorry." I moved my hands to behind my back, casually forming a snowball.
"It's alright." She smiled softly. Unaware of what my trickster self was about to do, it was almost cute.
"I hope you can forgive me." I wasted no time as I flung the snowball right at her face. I watched as her anger morphed into a joyous facial expression.
"You're going to regret that!" She laughed before turning her back to me. I watched as she used her powers to form a giant snowball. Once it was completed, she raised it above her head and turned to me, giving me a devilish grin.
"Oh no." I gasped before a smile formed upon my face. I grabbed my staff and began to run from her, soon using my staff as a snowboard to ride the air.
"Get back here Jack!" She called as she chased me, I was no fool.
"You gotta catch me Princess." I called back, leaning left and right to maneuver in a zig-zagged line.
"I'm a Queen." She yelled like I've never heard before, I might've struck a nerve. Using her own powers, Elsa made her own ice path and eventually caught up with me. She whipped the giant ball of snow at me with all her might. I tried to dodge it, but it was bigger than me and I was hit.
"Oof." I gasped, falling off my staff and falling into the snow all spread out like a starfish.
I heard her laughing, the corners of my mouth curled up to form a smirk. I was fired up. Grabbing a lump of snow in each hand, I slowly sat up. As each lump formed into an almost perfect sphere, I stood up, ready to battle.
Calling out a battle cry, I let the snowballs fly. Firing the small balls of snow at the female ignited the fire in my soul. She didn't just sit back and get hit though, she fought back; flinging her own medium sized balls of snow at me.
The battle of ice powered beings began.
***
After what felt like a lifetime, the battle began to die down. Like all good things, this too had to end.
Spread out like a pair of starfish, Elsa and I lay in the snow staring up at the sky.
"Today has been the best day of my life so far." I sat up and looked into her eyes. "But I should be going now. Tooth will be worried if I don't show up for the Guardians' meeting." I jumped up and sat upon my floating staff.
"Promise you'll come visit?" Elsa sat up and brushed the snow out of her hair.
"I promise." I laughed before I flew off.
My time with Elsa was definitely memorable, next time, I'll bring the whole Guardian crew along with me. That should be fun. I laughed at my thoughts.
Goodbye Arendelle, till we meet again.
