Chapter 1 - Who Are You?

Dream SMP

Michael was the first one to stir. He blinked as he got use to the area around him. Why were there so many people here?

Then he spotted Tubbo. The baby zombie pigman threw himself on top of one of his adoptive parents.

"Michael?" Tubbo opened his eyes to see Michael flopped on top of him. "Hey Michael...Can you get off?"

Michael nodded and got off of Tubbo before spotting his other parent. Ranboo.

"Ranboo?" Tubbo whispered. The ghost-enderman-human stirred. He opened his eyes.

"Tubbo?!" Ranboo said.

"Ranboo- I thought you were dead-" Tubbo said.

"I thought I was too...But I guess I'm not...I don't really remember anything from being a ghost though."

"DREAM?!" Exclaimed a panicked British voice. "YOU FUCKING PRICK!!"

Tubbo turned around to see that others were there too. In fact...A lot...

Tommy, Wilbur, Philza, Techno, Dream, Sam, Puffy, Tina, Sapnap, Bad, Skeppy, Karl, Quackity and a couple more. In fact. Most of the Dream SMP were there. But there were also people who only came onto the SMP through other people like Drista and Kristin who was better known as Mumza. Even people who haven't been on the server for a while like George and Alyssa. Not to mention even JSCHLATT was there! Alive too! Not to mention there was an unknown person lying there with salmon colored hair and dark green eyes with water-blue markings on her face.

Tommy was about to attack Dream and Dream had moved to the side, bumping into a girl with dirty blonde hair and lime green eyes.

"What the-" The girl sat up, blinking in confusion.

"Drista?!" Tommy exclaimed in surprise.

"Who are these people?" Dream suddenly said. Now that everyone from the Dream SMP were awake, they noticed that there were unknown people who weren't from the SMP who were still unconscious.

"That's weird. There's nothing in my inventory," Sapnap said. "And we don't even have our armor anymore."

"That's because this is a new world idiot," Tommy said.

"LANGUAGE!" Bad exclaimed.

"Who are you people?!" Said a sudden unknown british voice.

"Who the hell are you?" Dream asked.

"I'm Xisuma, admin of Hermitcraft. Who are you?"

"I am Dream, admin of the Dream SMP!"

"And a fucking mani-" Tommy started.

"LANGUAGE TOMMY!!" Bad said.

"Is this supposed to be Season 9, X?" Asked another British voice.

"Who are you?" Tommy asked.

"Why don't we all introduce ourselves?" Drista suggested now that everyone was awake.

"I don't see why we can't," Ghostboo said.

Soon, the Dream SMP found out that the unknown people were Xisuma, Grian, Mumbo Jumbo or Mumbo for short, Scar, Iskall, Gem, Pearl, Wels, Docm77 or Doc for short, Rendog or Ren for short, Impulse, Tango, Zedaph, Bdubs, ZombieCleo or Cleo for short, FalseSymmetry or False for short, Cub and Keralis.

Xisuma had purplish-blue eyes with a Doomguy-looking outfit that had a purple visor on the helmet. Grian, if you think about it, kind of looks like Tommy with dirty blond hair but with black eyes. Mumbo had black hair, black eyes and a moustache. Scar had brown hair and green eyes. Iskall had brown hair and black eyes. Gem had salmon-auburn hair, green eye, a flower crown and antlers. Pearl had light brown hair with blonde highlights and bluish-turquoise eyes. Wels had blond hair and blue eyes. Doc had dark brown hair, black eyes, a cyborg like eye part, green skin that resembles a creeper and with a cyborg left side of his face and cyborg right arm. Ren had brown hair, blue eyes that were covered with black sunglasses and wolf ears. Impulse had brown hair and brown eyes. Tango had blond hair and bright red eyes with a darker red sclera. Zedaph had blond hair and indigo eyes. Bdubs had dark brown hair and large black eyes. Cleo had orange-red hair that was more orange, light green eyes and light gray skin. False had blonde hair, blue eyes and goggles on her head. Cub had black hair and dark green eyes.

"Now that we've introduced ourselves, who are you people?" Scar asked.

The members of the Dream SMP introduced themselves to the members of Hermitcraft.

"We should stop introducing ourselves and get supplies before it gets dark," Wilbur said. "This is clearly a new server."

It took a bit of time, but soon enough, everyone began getting along...Well...Almost everyone...A couple of people from the Dream SMP were still not getting along with each other. Like Tommy and Dream. In fact, most of the people from the Dream SMP weren't getting along with Dream, considering that Dream was a criminal in the Dream SMP.

And if most of the Dream SMP were going to be honest, they were rather surprised that most of the people from Hermitcraft were even older than Philza especially with the fact that Phil was the oldest member on the Dream SMP.

"We should start building shelter," Mumza suggested.

Drista, Mumza, Tommy and Techno went to multiple villages to get beds. And of course, Techno killed the orphans while everyone else killed the iron golems.

Drista tried to find a trident which she insisted was a fork...And fortunately, she managed to kill a drown and get their trident. And because of that, she went ahead and took all the iron she had, made a crafting table, make an anvil and renamed the trident to 'Drista's Fork'. How did she get that much iron? She went mining. And she used the iron she got from the iron golems.

Tina, Alyssa, Scar, Grian and Ren went with Drista, Mumza, Tommy and Techno but they went to go cut down trees for resources. They probably managed to cut down an entire half of a forest...

Mumza found that this server had unknown mods that no one has ever seen before. For example, she ACTUALLY found crows.

When the 6 Dream SMP members and the 3 Hermits got back, they found that Wilbur, Puffy, Mumbo and Gem had went to get cobble. In the process, they found a ravine so Gem led Mumza there who wrote the coordinates in a book she found in the village.

Hermitcraft

Grian was glad the Hermits knew who everyone on the Dream SMP was after the introductions. It would've been a mess if they didn't.

The members of the Dream SMP were Dream, George, Sapnap, Badboyhalo or Bad for short, Skeppy, Karl, Quackity, Tommy, Technoblade or Techno for short, Philza or Phil for short, Wilbur, Tubbo, Sam, Alyssa, Puffy, Tina Kitten or Tina for short, Niki who also goes by Nihachu, Ranboo, and Jschlatt. Then there was Drista and Kristin, who weren't technically members of the server, but visited from time to time. There was also an adorable baby zombie pigman named Michael. Then there was a woman named Sally who for some reason was attached to Wilbur.

Grian remembered what they had all looked liked too, which was impressive since there were so many new faces to recognize.

Dream had dirty blonde hair and wears a mask with a smile so the Hermits couldn't determine his eye color. George is a brunet with brown eyes. Sapnap was a ravenet with black eyes. Bad is part demon, which according to the SMP members was completely innocent, white eyes and pitch black skin. Skeppy was just made of diamond. Karl has brown hair and light brown eyes. Quackity has black hair, black eyes and a scar on left eye. Tommy has blond hair and blue eyes. Technoblade had pink hair and red eyes. Philza had blond hair and gray eyes. Wilbur was a brunet with black eyes. Tubbo is a brunet with light blue eyes. Sam had dark green hair, black eyes with green pupils that was covered with a creeper mask and a crown with dark golden gems. Alyssa is dirty blonde with dull green eyes. Puffy had long puffy hair that was split down the middle with the left side being white and right being brown along with dark green eyes. Tina had light brown eyes and light brown eyes along with white cat ears. Niki was blonde with brown hair in the front and light brown eyes. Ranboo is part Enderman so his face is split right down the middle with the right side being black and left being white. Ranboo's left eye is red and his right eye is green. Jschlatt had brown hair with a white streak in it, goat horns and black eyes. Drista, Dream's sister, looked just like Dream but she had a paper mask instead and her dirty blonde hair was longer (Obviously). Kristin had black hair and black eyes. Michael was a baby zombie pigman who was adopted by Ranboo and Tubbo. His skin was pink with a part of the skin around his left eye showing his skull with a bit of rotting skin between the skull and skin. Michael had pink hair and was holding a small golden sword. Not to mention that Michael was trying to stab the ground for some reason. Sally had salmon red colored hair with dark green eyes and water-colored markings on her face.

Grian suddenly remembered what had happened, and his mood shifted. He looked over at X, and he knew it must have been hard on him to make that choice.

Xisuma was in a dark place. Many of his friends were dead, being left behind on the Hermitcraft Season 8 server.

He was also getting concerned about this new server. Concerned about the different people, he didn't know what they were like after all. Concerned about being on this server in general, and how long they would be here. Xisuma hadn't even known what had brought them here.

He did know he wasn't alone though. He had the other Hermits with him, and he most definitely wasn't the only Hermit who was still upset.

They couldn't be dead...They can't be!

Xisuma cleared the nonsense out of his head. They were dead. Everyone on the Hermitcraft server knew it. Most Hermits there were crying. The ones who weren't were trying to act tough. Act like nothing happened.

The Hermits all decided to gather together and split up into groups on who would live with who.

Grian, Mumbo, Iskall, and Pearl decided to group up and create a small wooden castle. This would be called "Oakland Castle".

Xisuma teamed up with Keralis, Wels, Cleo and Gem. They had decided to make a cottagecore village, as per request of Gem. They thought hard, and eventually decided to name it "Overgrownways".

Scar, Bdubs, and Cub decided to group up. They also grouped up with Doc and Ren, for less bases to be built. They planned on making an underground city in a tunnel of caves they would dig out. They would call it "Subterranean City".

That left Impulse, Tango, Zedaph, and False. They just decided to go for a cabin on a nearby mountain and call it "Forestside Lodge".

Of course, all these areas would be near each other. The Hermits named their town "Hermitstead". A fitting name where the Hermits resided. Each group divided work among themselves to get started.

Grian and Pearl would get more building resources, then build the castle. Mumbo and Iskall would collect more important resources, such as redstone and diamonds. Grian objected to this, though.

"No offense to Pearl, but I can build just fine on my own!"

Mumbo shook his head, but then looked at Pearl.

"You know him as well as I do, you know why I assigned you do the building as well."

Grian sighed, and motioned for Pearl to follow him. He had wood from chopping down a forest with Scar, Ren, Tina, Alyssa, Techno, Tommy, Drista, and Kristin. However, he wasn't sure if it was going to be enough. And for some reason he sensed something about Tommy. Chaotic energy. Tommy appeared to be talking to Tubbo at the moment. Grian decided that if the Hermits and Dream

SMP members would be on the same server for a while, he ought to try talking to some of them. So he walked over to Tommy.

"Hello, my name is Grian!"

"Yes, I know that from the introductions."

"Oh, well I'm used to saying that I guess. What were you guys talking about?"

"How Dream is such a fucking-"

"Don't swear please"

"I'll fucking swear if I want to fucking swear, mate."

"Alright then, Thomas."

"Don't call me that!"

"I'll call you whatever I'd like to call you."

"We were talking about how Dream is a manipulator," Tubbo said.

"Manipulator?" Grian asked.

"Yes, manipulator," Tommy said.

"Then why are George, Drista, Kristin, Michael, Techno, Phil, Niki, Wilbur, Sally and Alyssa getting perfectly along with him?" Grian inquired.

"Alyssa hasn't been on the server for a while," Tubbo said. "Wilbur was revived by Dream. He had a son with Sally."

"George has been sleeping for most of the time and Dream is apparently a simp for him," Tommy said, smirking slightly. "Drista is his sister. Kristin is Phil's wife. Techno is an anarchist. And Phil and Niki? We don't know."

Xisuma was talking to Dream while Grian was talking to Tommy.

"You're the admin of the Dream SMP?" Xisuma asked.

"Yes, do you have a problem with that?" Dream asked.

"No," Xisuma said. "I was just checking."

"Checking what?" Dream said.

"If I remembered correctly." Dream just stared at him.

"Why are you clingy to George though?" Xisuma asked.

Dream didn't answer. So X asked another question.

"Why do you wear that mask?"

"Because I do," Dream snapped.

X frowned under his helmet. "Why do you have to be so rude? I've been trying to be nice, since we barely know each other!"

"I guess it comes naturally to me. You want me to stop being rude, huh? Maybe you should ask less questions!"

"I'm trying to get to know you! Is that so hard to understand?"

"You're trying to get to know me? Then why aren't you asking things like my favorite color? Why are you asking questions I clearly don't want to answer?"

"I didn't know you didn't want to answer them, and I thought your favorite color was already a little too obvious!" X glanced down at Dream's green hoodie. Dream just yelled at him.

"Then don't assume things!"

"Fine. I'm done with this argument. Goodbye, Dream."

Literally this entire chapter: WHO ARE YOU- (Wait a minute- Who are you?) (Vine moment -Galactic) "The back of my head is a pristine waffle and I won't hear a word against it" -Grian (I loved this quote! And I remember the S7 episode he said it in... -Galactic) Also...Hermitcraft = HRRRRRRRM-itcraft. Writer's Block go BRRRRR...Sapnap keeps autocorrecting to Subpoena...

"Who are you?" go brrrrr. I say some Hermitcraft quotes and things and now Pleb is obsessed with them lol (ITS YOUR FAULT I'M OBSESSED -Pleb)
Lmao while writing this Pleb thought we were breaking the fourth wall. Meh, it never existed because I'll just think the fourth wall is the back of a build, and don't we all know that one Hermit that just never completes the back of his builds...(We need to stop breaking the fourth wall. We broke the fourth wall a hell lot of times while writing... -Pleb)
Also, yes. With Grian calling Tommy "Thomas" was a reference to "I tried making Grian swear" or whatever the TommyInnit video was called.
