"And it's up!" I squeal, quickly clicking the newest video posted by my favorite You Tubers. The title reads 'Heroes of Olympus, 24 hour handcuff challenge'. I squeal again as the video begins to play. Percy, Annabeth, Leo, Piper, and Jason all appear on screen.
"I really don't want to do this," Annabeth whispers to Piper.
"I have some concerns," Piper whispers back.
"Hi guys! Welcome back to our You Tube Channel! So today we will be doing the 24 hour handcuff challenge, but as you can see, there are five of us, and only two pairs of handcuffs," Leo says, dangling the two pieces of metal in front of the camera.
"So basically, what's going to happen here is, I will be recording the challenge, and my victims, ahem, I mean friends, will be handcuffed together. At this Annabeth and Piper let out a huge sigh. I however, grin. Yay! My two favorite couples handcuffed together? Yes please!
"Except, there's going to be a little twist," Leo says. He snaps his fingers and Annabeth and Piper have switched places.
"Since these two couples are practically attached at the hip anyway, I'm mixing things up. So for 24 hours, Annabeth here, will be handcuffed to Jason, and Piper will be handcuffed to Percy. So to start off I'll be going with Jason and Annabeth, and no one will be going with Piper and Percy, they have to record themselves," Leo explains.
"Are you ready?" Percy asks, holding up a pair handcuffs. Piper cringes.
"I would just like everyone to know that this was not our idea," Annabeth sighs.
"Okay, it's 7 am right now, 3-2-1" the pairs close the handcuffs around their wrists and a timer appears at the top of the screen. Piper lets out a loud groan.

"Okay, so, I guess we're going to get breakfast now since Annabeth and I haven't eaten yet," Jason tells the camera.
"Who do you think is going to be better at this challenge, you two, or Percy and Piper?" Leo asks from behind the camera.
"Um, probably us because we're like, 95% of their impulse control," Annabeth responds.
"But at the same time, they probably have the closest non-couple friendship out of all of us," Jason says.
"Yeah that's true. I don't think they'll like, fail, but they're definitely going to have their own way of doing things, for sure," Annabeth says as they approach the car. Annabeth looks down at their wrists, then back at the car. The way they're handcuffed together will force Jason to be the driver.
"No. Nooo! I don't know if you guys are aware, but Jason is such a bad driver!" Annabeth exclaims, looking at the camera.
"No I'm not," Jason argues, "Wait, how do we get in the car?" Annabeth groans, pulling Jason over to the passenger side.
"Crawl through," She states.
"Why do I have to crawl through?" Jason pouts.
"Because this challenge was your idea," Annabeth retorts.
"Uh, Percy brought it up first!" Jason protests.
"And you agreed. Just drive!"
"Can we go to Starbucks?" Jason asks a moment later.
"Yes, please," Annabeth replies.

"Hey guys, so, we're currently at Panera," Piper states.
"So, we definitely had a time getting here," Percy says. The video cuts again, showing several clips of Percy and Piper trying and failing to get into Percy's car.
"So, yeah, that was an experience. But we definitely got lucky because Percy is actually a kind of okay driver. I'm pretty sure Jason has to drive Annabeth around, so she might be a goner. Also, Percy is over here ordering an entire grilled cheese sandwich at 8 in the freaking morning," Piper says.
"Kay well not all of us can live off a muffin and coffee Piper, and I'm a delightful driver," Percy retorts. The food arrives and Percy goes to pick up a fork.
"Nooooo! Piper, no! I'm right handed!" Percy complains when he realizes his dominant hand is attached to hers. Percy proceeds to pick at his food awkwardly with his left hand until Piper's phone begins to vibrate. Piper picks it up and sighs.
"Annabeth and Jason want us to meet them at Target in 20 minutes," she announces.
"Yes! I love Target!" Percy exclaims, pumping his fist in the air.
"Percy!" Piper whimpers as her wrist is yanked up.
"Oops."

"So Percy and I are usually the ones who go shopping for groceries, so, I texted Piper and they're gonna meet us here," Annabeth tells the camera as she and Jason walk into Target.
"Annabeth!" Percy shouts, riding one of the carts into the frame, Piper being dragged along.
"Please take your boyfriend!" Piper exclaims in exasperation. As the girls actually shop for groceries, the boys prance around the store dancing badly and singing off key to the music playing over the loud speaker, dragging the girls around.
"Piiiiiper," Percy calls loudly.
"What? I'm literally attached to you. You don't need to yell," Piper says frowning.
"I need to pee," Percy announces.
"No. Percy. I can't go into the men's bathroom," Piper states.
"What about the family-"
"No!" Piper exclaims, cutting him off, "Annabeth-"
"He's handcuffed to you. He's your problem," Annabeth tells her with a snicker, earning her a glare from her friend.
"Ughhh. Fine, we'll meet you back at the house," Piper decides. Annabeth and Jason take the cart and head to the check out.
"Oh my gods! You're Annabeth Chase and Jason Grace!" One of the girls in front of them exclaims.
"Can we take a picture with you guys?" Her friend asks. Annabeth and Jason take some pictures with fans until it's their turn for checkout.
"What happened?" The cashier asks, pointing to the handcuffs.
"We're doing the 24 hour handcuff challenge," Jason replies.
"Okay. How are we going to carry these back to the car?" Annabeth asks as they stare at the ten bags in front of them.

"Percy and Jason decided that they need to go to the gym now, so we're currently waiting for an Uber to come pick us up and take us over there right now," Piper informs the camera.
"So the problem here, is we can all change pants, but we can't change our shirts, so we can't get really sweaty," Annabeth explains as their Uber pulls up. Everyone piles awkwardly into the car.
"Can I make an inquiry about the handcuffs?" The driver asks when everyone is settled in.
"We're doing the 24 hour handcuff challenge," Percy tells him. The video cuts to the two couples standing in the gym awkwardly.
"Wait, how are we supposed to bench?" Jason asks, looking at Percy.
"How do we do anything?" Percy replies.
"I can spot you so the cuffs don't get in the way," Annabeth suggests.
"There we go," Jason says, clapping his hands together. While the boys lift, the girls stand behind the racks, wrists jerking up and down with the boys' movements.
"Kay, you guys did your thing, so you have to stand here while Annabeth and I run on the treadmills," Piper announces.
"So we're not to disgustingly sweaty, but I am not going to enjoy sleeping in this shirt tonight," Annabeth says as they leave the gym.
"So we're going to get lunch now, where do we even want to go?" Jason asks.
"Can we go to Chick-Fil-A?" Percy asks.
"But we just worked out," Jason counters.
"What about sushi?" Piper suggests.
"You know how I feel about fish," Percy argues.
"Guys let's go to Chipotle," Jason says.
"Oh, yeah, that actually sounds really good right now," Annabeth agrees.
"Okay I'm down for that," Percy says. Piper nods as well.

"Hey guys, it's been, almost 12 hours since I got handcuffed to this tosser," Piper says to the camera as she sprawls out across the floor.
"So after we got lunch, we went back home and literally sat on the floor and did homework for three hours. Trying to be as unproblematic as possible," Annabeth tells us.
"It was awful. Let me tell you," Jason adds.
"I wanted to go swimming, but ya know, we can't change our clothes," Percy complains.
"And then these three decided to play Mario Cart, and, I don't know if you can see this, but my wrist is actually raw from Percy pulling on it so much while he moved the controller," Piper complains, moving her and Percy's arms to show her red wrist.
"Yeah, so after we played Mario Cart, the rest of the crew-"
"Oh my gods did you just call them our crew?" Piper laughs.
"Yes. So our crew got back from California, so we planned out our next video. And now we're headed to Panda Express for dinner," Jason says.
"So one good thing about getting an Uber to drive us places, is none of us have to like, fight over who has to climb over the counsel to get to the driver's seat," Annabeth comments.
"Oh yeah, that was definitely also an issue for me and Percy," Piper adds.
"Alright, So we're at Panda, and we're sitting at our table, and there are low key a bunch of people staring at us right now," Percy whispers to the camera as he looks around the restaurant.
"Wow, way to be discreet," Piper says sarcastically.
"Wait, how do you use silverware with one hand?" Jason asks, picking up his fork. Silently, Annabeth picks up a pair of chopsticks and stares at Jason.
"Oh my god. We're never mentioning this again," Jason says.
"That's embarrassing," Percy sings, clapping his hands.
"Ow! Why are you like this Percy?" Piper complains as her arm is yanked around.
"Guys I am so glad this is almost over," Annabeth announces.
"What? I'm not that bad," Jason protests.
"No, but I want my personal space. Like I need to go to the bathroom without you in the doorway," Annabeth responds.
"I need to not be attached to a hyperactive dolphin," Piper adds.
"Who me?" Percy asks innocently.

"We're getting ready for bed right now, I really hate that I can't change my shirt. I feel so gross," Annabeth tells us.
"Yeah, I almost choked on my toothbrush, trying to brush my teeth with my left hand," Percy adds.
"So, there's really no good way for us to all be able to sleep, so Annabeth and Jason are going to be in Annabeth and Percy's room, and I'm going to me and Jason's room with Percy I guess. This is going to be such a long night," Piper groans.

"Kay, we're making a pillow wall right here," Annabeth decides, shoving a large pillow in between herself and Jason.
"Stay on your side of the bed," she demands.

"Piper. What are you doing?" Percy asks, staring blankly at the heap of blankets now covering the floor next to the bed.
"I made you a little nest to sleep in," Piper replies. Percy blinks.
"Piper. No. That is not a thing," Percy argues.
"Uh Yeah, it definitely is," Piper retorts.
"We're attached to each other, how is that even going to work?" Percy asks.
"Easy, I'm just gonna hang my arm over the side, obvi," Piper replies. Percy groans.
"Whatever," he grumbles, nestling into the pile of blankets.
"Night Percy."
"I'm not talking to you."
"Real mature Jackson."

"Hey guys, it's Leo. So, Annabeth, Jason, Percy, and Piper are all asleep. It's 8 o'clock, so they've actually been handcuffed for 25 hours, so, I'm gonna wake them up now," Leo whispers to the camera. An air horn appears in his hand and he grins maniacally at the camera before blasting the horn.
A screech is heard from Annabeth and Percy's room, and Leo runs in to find Annabeth and Jason crumpled on the floor.
"Leo Mercutio Valdez!" Annabeth screeches.
"That's not even my middle name!" Leo exclaims, dying of laughter.
"Was that really necessary?" Piper asks, walking in with a half asleep Percy.
"Absolutely! Do you know what time it is?" Leo asks. Annabeth looks at the clock.
"It's 8! You could have woken us up an hour ago!" Annabeth exclaims, throwing a pillow a Leo. He just laughs.
"Give me the key. Now." Piper demands. The two girls quickly unlock the handcuffs and they drop to the floor.
"Yes! Freedom!" Percy shouts.
"My wrists have never felt so free," Piper gasps.
"That was just as awful as I thought it would be," Annabeth adds.
"Never again," Jason agrees.
