Annalise let out a sigh as she finally made it to her room. She had gotten back from school and couldn't wait to just lay in bed. As always, she had said hello to the orphanage workers and the other kids but they just ignored her. They do that a lot. They like to pretend that she's not there. She was apparently too loud and annoying for them to deal with. She honestly doesn't understand it either. Sure, she could be loud sometimes, but that was barely. The only time she thought she was annoying was when she talked about her favorite anime.

A smile appeared on the blonde girl's face at the thought of the show. She plopped down on the bed with the big grin still present. It was called Fairy Tail. It was about a guild of wizards who went on quests and always had amazing adventures. What Annalise like most about the show was that they all acted like they were one big family, something Annalise didn't have. When watching the show, she felt like she was part of the whole experience. It was like she was finally complete whenever she watched it.

It was hard to explain, to be honest. She couldn't really put the way she felt about it in exact words. Feeling like she was part of the show was the most she could come up with when explaining it.

Annalise let out a blissful sigh, "I guess it's time to watch more of it. I still haven't gotten past the Sun Village arc yet." On that note, the girl reached to her bedside table and grabbed her laptop. The girl worked hard to get the laptop. The orphanage wouldn't pay for it since they didn't see it as a necessity so Annalise had to pay for it herself. It took two jobs, one at an amusement park and one as a babysitter, to finally have enough money to get it.

She laid the laptop on her stomach and propped her head up with pillows so she could see. She went to Crunchyroll and pulled up the Fairy Tail episode she was on. Annalise let out a huff at what popped up. How she hated ads. Sadly, she couldn't pay for a subscription monthly so she just had to deal with it.

As the episode went on, Annalise could feel her eyes slowly closing. Her body was basically sinking into the uncomfortable bed. She tried her hardest to stay awake, but school and work the day before had drained all of her energy. The next thing she knew, she was asleep... One last thing was on her mind. She wished that she could actually be part of Fairy Tail.

Do you know that weird moment... When you have a dream that feels so real that it almost seems unreal? That was what Annalise was experiencing now. Her vocal chords hurt and she realized... She was crying, and very loud might I add. She didn't really feel like herself. She felt like a whole other person.

That was when she heard a voice. It was stern and strict, "Her name will be Annalise Heartfilia." The voice was a man's. What dream was this? Her last name wasn't Heartfilia. Although, she did wish it was at times. It was one of the prettiest names that she heard from Fairy Tail.

Annalise tried to look around, but she couldn't from how much she was crying. Her vision started to become darker and darker as she heard the most annoying sound. What was that sound? It sounded so awful!

Annalise startled awake and her laptop fell on the bed. It was her alarm, which read seven AM, that was making that awful racket. She could hear one of the other kids yelling at her to turn it off. Just to spite them, she let it go off for another minute or two before finally turning it off. She laid back down on the bed with a thoughtful look. What kind of dream was that? Why did it feel so... Real?

Hey guys! I hope you like the prologue. As you can already tell, I'm going to start off with the youngest memories first so that way she can become more attached to her Fairy Tail parents and everyone in the mansion. It won't take long to get into the actual storyline, though. I'll try to speed the younger memories along as fast as I can so we can get into the main storyline. I hope you guys liked this!
