With Marinette, she was in disbelief that Chrysalis managed to akumatize her, taking advantage of her guilt and hurting her partner again.

"How couldn't I resist the Akuma? And I nearly killed my partner" Marinette sighs.

"I don't know but what's really important is that Cat Noir saved you," Pelle said.

"But at what cost? He's not gonna trust me again for hurting him emotionally before the akuma" Marinette said.

"I've seen how you behave around him when me and my jaguar met you. Please tell me what it is you're afraid of? If you can't explain it to him, explain it to me" Pelle said.

"That he'll get akumatized himself and his powers could destroy the world and the moon itself. I've been brought to a timeline where he knew I was Ladybug and I had to fight him to turn him back, then I had to go back in time to prevent my identity from being revealed to him" Marinette explained.

"That explains a lot. But still, putting him in the dark can have different attempts of his miserable state to get him akumatized" Pelle said.

"That's why I'm questioning myself If I'm a good hero or guardian. I never wished to be guardian" Marinette said.

"Hmm.....what made you get into situations?" Pelle asked.

Marinette knew why and it was because she was obsessed with Adrien. Instead of choosing the bee miraculous for Chloe's help, she chose the dragon miraculous for Kagami's help to pull her away from Adrien and it got Chloe angry and chose to side with Hawk Moth to get revenge on her. Especially forgetting to detransform when going to Master Fu, it put him in great danger. Instead of offering Cat Noir's help, she chose 'Adrien's' help by entrusting him with the dog miraculous and it turns out she entrusted Felix in Adrien disguise and he betrayed her by stealing her yoyo and trading them to Shadow Moth. All her problems point out that her obsession with Adrien is the reason why she puts those she cares about in great danger.

"My obsession with Adrien. It caused all the troubles I've gone through. It's too much to explain about it" Marinette said.

"I'm no psychologist but I can see what the problem is. You're running away from your problems and when that happens, it creates consequences" Pelle said.

"But how can I talk to Cat Noir after what I've just done? I nearly took his life as an Akuma puppet by Cerise" Marinette said.

"Cat Noir felt responsible for causing Cerise to akumatize you," Pelle said.

"It still doesn't take away the suffering," Marinette said.

The Neanderthal female adult comes in with food for the guests, grunting in her language to tell them to enjoy. Marinette looked down seeing the meal, it was roasted pork with some fruit alongside it.

"Aw come on, no peanuts?" Trunkk flew out.

"Don't worry, Trunkk. I saved a few peanuts in case the chocolate ran out" Pelle looks in his backpack and grabs a container of peanuts.

"Yummy!" Trunkk grabbed some with his trunk and ate them.

"Wow, he lives up to the stereotype of elephants eating peanuts," Marinette noticed.

"Ja, Det gör han. Ahem, Yeah, he sure does" Pelle used both Swedish and English.

Marinette's mood lightened slightly.

With Adrien, he was standing on a cliff looking over the landscape as Cat Noir.

"Oh Bugaboo, if only I understood why you and my mother made up that Dad sacrificed himself to destroy Monarch, to keep me safe from more trouble. But I was such a jerk" He sat down.

Panthera joined too to make sure he was not alone, "Hey, estás bien?" She asked.

"Yeah, just trying to get all the stress out. And giving myself some time to be ready to talk to her without getting obnoxious again" Cat Noir said.

"I know that feeling too," Panthera said, looking sad about something.

"You okay?" Cat Noir asked.

Panthera did not want to lie to him since she learned that he hates secrets and liars, "Actually, no. Since I wanted to tell my elephant guy, I didn't want to ruin the amazing discovery of this place. You still remember Chloe, right?"

"Yeah, my childhood friend that became selfish every day. Why? Did she make another threat to you that day when you came to Paris?" Adrien asked.

"Not in Paris but in New York where I live with my family. Ever since you all exiled her for being a selfish mayor, I stood up against her and told her that she has no power to humiliate anyone ever again and I called her utterly ridiculous. But something else got worse when she brought her mother to my mama's restaurant" Panthera shuddered at the memory.

The Cantillo family was opening up the Restaurante Pura Vida and as it did, customers gave a 5-rated star for Mrs. Cantillo's amazing Costa Rican Food. It made Luna's mother so proud that she could have a chance against the cooking contest in Paris. That was until Audrey Bourgeois stormed in and demanded to see the person for humiliating Chloe.

"I dare to see this Luba girl for insulting Carol! Or you're all fired! Audrey forgetting her daughter's name.

"It's Chloe!" Chloe corrected her.

"Excuse me? What gives you the right to barge in and disrupt my customers?" Mrs. Cantillo glared at her.

"Oh, no" Luna whispered.

"There she is, mom! That's the Mexican loser who humiliated me!" Chloe pointed.

"That's Costa Rican to you, Chloe! And the name's Luna!" Luna said.

"So you're the one that insulted Claudia?" Audrey asked, not caring how to say Chloe's name right.

"Technically, it's the other way around. Your daughter had no right to humiliate my sister or anyone" Luna's brother protects Luna.

"You're fired!" Audrey insulted them.

"We don't even work for you. You're causing a scene in the restaurant. Either leave or we call the police" Elio said.

"I own this city and I can have a city inspector shut this Mexican restaurant for terrible food service," Audrey said.

"You wouldn't?!" Luna gasped, not wanting her mother to have her dreams crushed.

"I can and I will that you insulted Clara," Audrey said.

"You're not the Mayor and you have nothing here! And you lost your power from being banished from France!" Elio got furious.

"Oh, yeah? I learned from a liar who can manipulate anyone! She taught me well and I can do the same too!" Chloe cackled.

"You're a monster!" Luna pretends to cry and runs into her apartment room to transform, "No way I'm letting that brat ruin my mother's dream. I cannot let us move back to Costa Rica. Clawws, let's hunt!" She transforms into Panthera and jumps out the window to stop the Bourgeois from making a scene, making her human groan into a jaguar snarl.

While the two kept ranting away, Panthera burst in, "What is going on here?" She pretends to not know.

"Señorita, por favor, get these two out of here. They are causing a scene" Mrs. Cantillo knows she's her daughter and begged.

"Who are you, a leopard? Utterly ridiculous fashion" Audrey said heartlessly.

"Jaguar. You really are a heartless mother who can't even remember her own daughter's name? It's no wonder your husband divorced and yet it doesn't bother you at how much of a heartless monster you and your daughter are today" Panthera points them out the door for those two to leave.

"Mark my words! I will sue this place and force it to shut down!" Audrey shouted as she and her daughter left.

Panthera felt like she got insulted again as she fled from the scene.

"Yeah, that woman is a monster. I mean I do feel bad for Chloe having a heartless mother that can't even say her name right but Chloe has caused a lot of damage than her mom. I traveled to Costa Rica to clear my mind off until I was ready to come home but I ended up in a cave and fell a thousand meters down here" Panthera explained how she ended up here from before.

"The same way Ladybug and I came through Vesuvius" Cat Noir said.

"So you did get our message?" Panthera said.

"We did but the ride wasn't the best. It must be where Chrysalis came through" Cat Noir said.

"Shit, she probably followed you and your mariquita" Luna guessed.

"Yes, and she planned this all along to make Ladybug kill me," Cat Noir said.

"She almost did. From what I learned, Cerise is not very smart to understand the meaning of friendship and relationship. If she can't learn to see that lying can cause a lot of damage, her reputation and life will be ruined and no one is gonna want to be around her. If she tries telling the truth, no one is gonna believe her anymore. The same story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf" Luna said, handing pork meat to him since he hasn't eaten much due to a lot of stressful events today.

"Pretty much yes," Cat Noir said while eating.

Just then Ladybug approached slowly with two cups of auroch milk, "Hey Kitty"

"Please go easy on her, gatito. Tembo told me she's been through a lot than you" Panthera stands up, "Por favor, don't hesitate to tell the truth. Let him trust you" Panthera begged Ladybug to be gentle with him.

"Okay," Ladybug sat next to Cat Noir, "Kitty, I just want to say that Gabriel made a vow to not let the world know he's Monarch. He was a terrible man, yes, but he gave his own life to bring Adrien's mother back. I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier about it" Ladybug started.

"And he told you to not tell his son about it? Milady, it should be him telling the truth to his son, not you. He passed his burden to you. Even if it's his last words, he still caused a lot of damage to the world with madness of nightmare headaches. He's not a good man nor did he ever try to be a good father to Adrien" Cat Noir drinks the extinct milk from a coconut.

"I know. And I've failed you as a partner. I'm not asking you to forgive me. I just want you to understand. And now I got akumatized because I wasn't allowed to explain in time. I also never told you of a timeline where you got akumatized after I revealed my identity to you. So I had to fight you to turn you normal and fix the world Cat Blanc destroyed by his uncontrollable powers. I went back to prevent my identity from being revealed to erase it" Ladybug teared up.

It all made sense now since he fought his akumatized Father Nightomentor, his nightmare was similar to what she explained about a white cat causing destruction to Paris.

"I had the same nightmare of myself losing control of my cataclysm. I wanted to tell my girlfriend I'm Cat Noir but the nightmare stopped me. Ever since then, I couldn't bring myself to fight as Cat Noir with this nightmare headache. So I gave my miraculous to Plagg to you" Cat Noir explained, minus the details that he was stuck in a white room by his father in London.

"You did?" Ladybug asked.

"Yes. I understand now why you fear I would be akumatized. And now it's my fault you got akumatized. I'm horribly sorry" Cat Noir said and the two heroes embraced each other in a hug.

"No, I'm the one who should be sorry. I forget that you hate secrets and I should've told you. It's not you that's the problem, I'm the problem" Ladybug said.

"Ladybug, it's both our faults. You with secrets and I indirectly caused my partner to be akumatized. But we're not letting Cerise win" Cat Noir said.

He also forgot that he was forced to cataclysm Monarch that night at the wax museum, "How much did the cataclysm spread on Gabriel?"

"Up to his neck," Ladybug said

"Man, I'm too scared to use it on a person again" Cat Noir shuddered.

"Kitty, Look at me. We can solve our problems together, even with the ones we love behind our masks" Ladybug said.

From the distance, Blu Tembo and Panthera watched them repair their partnership.

"They are still young but I just want them to be the partners they were before. Ladybug became obsessed with responsibilities; she forgot about the partnership that almost ruined their friendship" Blu Tembo said.

"Is that why she became the guardian of the miraculous because of a mistake she made?" Panthera asked him from his point of view with Ladybug.

"No, because the previous one was attacked," Blu Tembo said.

"Que?" Panthera exclaimed.

"Ladybug told me everything. Master Fu was attacked by Mayura and Hawkmoth, forcing him to pass the guardianship to her" Blu Tembo said.

"Was there a terrible price too?" Panthera asked.

"Yes, his memories were erased" Blu Tembo replied and Panthera covered her mouth in horror.

"Yes, it's true," Blu Tembo said.

Further away, Cerise looks through in disappointment seeing Ladybug back to normal and repairing her partnership with Cat Noir.

"It seems akumatizing her didn't end well," Nooro said.

"Correct. And Cat Noir is her partner again" Cerise said.

The Spino King failed and returned to normal, now she has to find a new aggressive dinosaur. Or perhaps a prehistoric mammal to weaken the elephant man who cares too much for elephants, maybe he won't stand a chance.

"That elephant man's weakness is elephants getting hurt. A mammoth will be my victim" Cerise said evilly.

"Cerise, this is a disaster. You almost died and there's a chance you'll create something far worse" Nooro said.

"Well, sacrifices must be made. Nooro, dark wings rise!" She transformed back to Chrysalis.

"That elephant guy cares too much about those beasts. Time for an ancestor and descendant to fight!"

The next morning, the country heroes knew they had to teach them about awareness and surroundings if Cerise ever tried to do something cunning since she did when they never noticed that she witnessed everything during that wish.

Luna instructed Adrien by blindfolding him to train his ears and instincts without seeing, "Trust your instincts, gatito. Remember, eyes are everywhere in life and you have to sense your surroundings" Luna said as she called this game Blind Man's Bluff. A blind fight to fight without seeing.

Adrien took a deep breath and carefully listened. Luna tapped the tree barks to test his ears, sneaking up to him without making a sound. Adrien turned to her direction but she moved away.

"Not easy without your night vision, gatito?" Luna taunted.

Adrien got into position, listening to movements, "We'll see" He said.

He listened after her movements and then suddenly caught her fist, "Gotcha!" He said but then blocked her kick with his stance leg.

"Good job. Let's keep going!" Luna then tries to throw another punch.

"I think my senses are developing sharp like my claws," Adrien said, pushing her aside, breathing in and out to hear her movements blindly.

They briefly circled before Adrien touched his foot on a puddle just as Luna jumped behind him, making him turn and block her attacks.

"That's a good kitty. Your senses are sharper than a human" Luba removes the blindfold, "Anyways, you can't let an enemy find your weakness. Also, don't make your catchphrase too long whenever you try to kill or beat an enemy. You'll only give them a chance long enough to kick your ass"

"Exactly how villains monologue," Adrien said.

"Something like that," Luna said.

Pelle was helping Marinette with her overreacting problem and he understands her trauma from a year ago when Chloe gave Kim the idea to pull a cruel prank on her.

"That's the problem, Flicka. You let your overreaction get the best of you. When you first met Lila as Ladybug to reveal her true colors in front of Adrien, he thought that maybe you went crazy. You cannot jump ahead because you'll make enemies and enemies never leave anyone alone. That's why Lila chose you are her arch rival" Pelle explained the problem.

"I've already forgiven Kim but never forgiven Chloe since it was her idea from the start. But the Lila or Cerise problem is still there. She took advantage of my guilt to turn me into an akuma" Marinette said.

"That is why I'm helping you to not let that liar get into your head. Pretend I'm her and you try to find your inner composure to fight against her influence" Pelle said.

"And how can I do that? You're not her. Her lies almost made my friends turn against me. Gabriel obviously made a big mistake by trusting her. If Maurice was right about him replacing another after another, it's obvious that Gabriel has no sense of awareness" Marinette said.

"Självklart. Okay, let's get started. Your business with designs will for sure fail one day and there's no one to support you about it" Pelle began to test her.

Her eye nearly twitched with anger but she remained calm.

"Or, your parents might finally see you as a failure for your clumsiness" Pelle continued.

"No, they would never see me as a failure," Marinette said.

"Adrien is all mine" Pelle said.

Marinette almost lost her mind but breathed in and out to gain composure.

"That's it, Marinette. Deep breaths" Pelle said and Marinette then prepared for the next one.

"If you try to expose me, Marinette, I'll make your life miserable for all eternity" Pelle does his Lila act.

"Not a chance, Lie-la," Marinette said with determination.

"That's the spirit, Marinette" Pelle drops the act.

"Thanks. But how were you and Panthera able to remain calm from her lies?" Marinette asked.

"Because she and I cannot just blow it off or Lila would think we are accusing her. So instead, we pretended to believe her so she wouldn't figure out" Pelle said.

"I see. But what worries me is if she knows I'm Ladybug since she saw the brooch being lost" Marinette said.

"We can't be sure. Well, it can't get any worse" Pelle said.

His miraculous grants the power of regaining memories, maybe there's a way to make Cerise forget she ever discovered Ladybug's secret identity.

"I may grant memories but I can't do the opposite, I think," Pelle said.

"You have to. She can come up with powerful lies and anyone can believe her. She can fool adults like my teachers and staff" Marinette said.

"She has a point, Pelle. That liar is a monster and if we manage to get back to the surface, she could find a way to convince the entire world" Trunkk said.

"Which will never be" Pelle replied.

Suddenly a loud trumpeting was heard.

"That sounds like a Woolly Mammoth!" Marinette gasps.

"That noise doesn't sound very friendly as I know. Trunkk, flap my ears!" He transformed into Blu Tembo again.

"Tikki, spots on!" Marinette turned into Ladybug.

They saw a black colored mammoth with red eyes ram through trees like they were made of paper.

Blu Tembo knew this was the work of that liar akumatizing an innocent Mammoth. No! He can't let her akumatize him. He finds his inner serenity to think positively.

"Keep yourself calm!" He tried to stay positive when the mammoth grabbed him by the trunk and threw him.

"Agh!" He didn't think an akumatized extinct animal would be that strong.

"What's the matter? I thought you loved animals with trunks. You don't love my new breed?" Chrysalis ride on it.

Ladybug comes to his aid and helps him up, "Stop this madness, Lila!"

"Shh!!! Remember what I taught you" Blu Tembo said.

"Got it" Ladybug nodded.

"Or else what? You know I won't stop until your miraculous is all mine!" Chrysalis said.

"Keep on living in the fantasy dream, Cerise" Blu Tembo sneered.

"Like hell I am! And you're nowhere skilled as the late Monarch!" Ladybug threw her yo-yo.

"AGH!" Chrysalis got hit in the head, making the akumatized Mammoth angry.

"Watch out Ladybug!" Blu Tembo shouted when the mammoth reared its trunk back to hit her.

Ladybug jumps up to dodge but then she gets grabbed.

"Alright Ladybug, let's hear those bones shatter!" Chrysalis said.

Blu Tembo was too hesitant to hurt the mammoth until Cat Noir and Panthera rushed in.

"LET MY PARTNER GO!" Cat Noir leaps up to bash at the mammoth with his staff.

Memories flash in Tembo's mind of the torture the elephants went through. His heart was shattering and even if the Mammoth was akumatized, he had to do something and it's not its fault that it's akumatized, it's Chrysalis controlling it.

He jumped up on the Mammoth and saw Chrysalis holding something that looked like an akumatized object. He had to choose, the brooch or the Mammoth. He growled in frustration that he had to choose the hard way. He blew his horn at Chrysalis like a loud sonic scream, grabbing the akumatized branch before it fell with her. He snapped the branch in half with his upper thigh.

"NOOOO! AAAGH!" She fell into a mud puddle like last time.

"No more evil doings for you!" Ladybug caught the akuma to purify it.

Blu Tembo jumps off the Mammoth and comforts its trunk, murmuring in Swedish to tell the Mammoth that he's okay, "Såja, du är okej nu"

"Alright Cerise, your time with the brooch is over! Ladybug and I will always remain a duo!" Cat Noir said.

"I said no victory words to give your opponent long enough to attack!" Panthera reminded him and then she was right, she clashed her spear against the cane, "You see?" Panthera pushed her back into the mud.

"Short ones though" Cat Noir then grabs Chrysalis, "Give up, Cerise!"

"The war has begun!" Chrysalis does a crazy stunt to throw the feline aside, "I'm nothing like that psycho man! I never liked it when he replaced me with Kagami for the Alliance ring avatars! Like I was nothing to him! The only reason I came close was because he was my biological father until he died at the end because of her!" Chrysalis pointed at Ladybug and then jumped off the cliff to escape.

It took the heroes a moment to soak in all the words she just said.

"She's crazier than ever," Cat Noir said.

"Maurice did mention something about Gabriel having an affair with someone when he was Gabi Grassette. There was no smirk whenever she lied. She's telling the truth" Ladybug said.

It made the feline freeze at the thought of having a long-lost sister, "Uhhhh.....could you give me a moment? I think I'm thirsty" Cat Noir made an excuse to have a moment again without worrying his lady.

"Okay. Take your time Kitty" Ladybug said.

"Uhhh....me too. We'll be right back" Panthera followed him.

Cat Noir goes to the river and got on his knees, splashing water at his face in anger and shock, "Damn it! Cerise is my half-sister?! Unbelievable!" He splashed again.

Panthera came to make sure no one saw him but saw he was still transformed. She knows that it wasn't because he's thirsty for water, he was angry at the truth from Cerise.

"Gatito, calmase! Deep breathes. Breathe with me" Panthera held his shoulders to calm him, "Breathe in, breathe out slowly" She instructed.

Cat Noir breathes slowly until he calms down, "I never expected that liar to be related to me"

"You did mention about your uncle saying your father had an affair with an unknown woman. The truth does seem connected. Your father was Hawk Moth from the beginning and now Cerise is the new Hawk Moth. Like father, like daughter" Panthera said.

"Yes. But I'm more of my mother" Cat Noir said.

"Forget the past, gatito. You can't let it haunt you. Judging by Cerise's anger, she's probably telling the truth. I mean she doesn't make a lie by being angry. Sometimes anger can accidentally make a person's big mouth reveal what they are hiding" Panthera said.

"Exactly," Cat Noir said.

"Be grateful that she's not related to your mother. I still don't understand why that monster would abandon her like that. He created something far worse. He created a bigger monster" Panthera said, knowing how orphan children would go through if a parent abandons them very badly to be forced to live with that memory all their lives.

"Yes, one that nearly destroyed my princess's reputation," Cat Noir said.

"The same way your father did by creating schemes with his ads to make life perfect when it was all a plan to wait for the right moment to akumatize a victim. Remember the plastic pollution you guys went through?" Panthera asked.

"Ah yeah, I remember that. Fortunately, he changed his mind about plastic in the end" Cat Noir said.

"Which was a plan all along to akumatize someone and failed to get the miraculous. Damn it." Panthera can see the connection between Gabriel and Cerise, "It all makes sense now, gatito. Your father was originally Gabi the same way Lila was originally Cerise. Both of them are somehow related. Does it make sense to you?"

"Now that you mention it, yes," Cat Noir said.

"Did your father ever mention about anything? Anything in particular?" Panthera asked.

"No. He never did. He simply gives me orders like I'm an employee to him" Adrien said.

"Which means he likes to hide the truth from anyone. Until Ladybug found out" Panthera said.

"Not just her, my cousin knew too before the betrayal," Adrien said.

"That hair-slicked guy that somewhat looks a hell of a lot like you from London? My friend Pelle told me about him when he visited London to see the elephants at the zoo" Panthera said.

"Yes, Felix is his name. He may have done a lot of bad things but since then regretted them, and thanks to Kagami he has changed for the better" Cat Noir didn't want to go through the details of his crimes again.

"Unlike Cerise, he has a conscience, yes" Panthera agreed to not repeat all events.

"And you're right, the past events can somehow make a person go bad when their feelings get troubled," Cat Noir said.

"Yes. It might become a shock to him, your mother, and aunt you have a living uncle below ground" Panthera said.

"We need to get out somehow. I cannot just leave my uncle down here" Cat Noir said.

"He can't be reasoned, gatito. My father tried and nothing can get through your uncle's insanity block wall" Panthera said.

"I have to try" Cat Noir remains determined.
