Izuku Midoriya is a 4 year old kid that really liked his childhood friend Katsuki or, as he calls him, Kacchan; and today was the day Kacchan developed his quirk.
Kacchan planned to meet Izuku at the park to tell him about his discovery.
He was running when he saw his green haired friend waiting for him.

"Izuku! Izuku! Look at the cool quirk i developed yesterday!"

He then proceeded to produce small explosions in his hand with his nitroglycerin sweat.

"Woah Kacchan! That's so cool! You think i'll have a flashy quirk like yours too?"

"Of course Izuku, and when you'll get it, we'll become the best heroes that ever existed, even better than All Might!"

"I can't wait for my birthday, and we'll met here for me to show you my quirk!"

Little did he know, because of his unknown father, the big part of his plan will not be able to occur.

Timeskip

It was now the day of Izuku's 4th anniversary, also known as the day when he's gonna discover his quirk.
His mom was driving them to the hospital for Izuku to be diagnosed.

"Mom! Do you think i'll get a flashy quirk like my friend Katsuki?"

"Of course my little Izuku, and then you will begin your strife to become the number one Hero!"

In a Swift swerve, Inko was parked. She was a buggy racer before working in a hospital. They then proceeded to enter the hospital and get to the doctor's waiting room before being called.
Izuku bolted out of his chair to go see the doctor, followed by his legendary mom.

Little timeskip

As the doctor came out of the second room with a wierd sheet in his hand, he proceeded to put the black sheet on the illuminated part of the wall to show the interior of Izuku's right foot.

"Miss Inko. I am very sorry to announce you that your son Izuku will not be able to develop a quirk, for he has the little extra joint right here."

He then pointed the base of his thumb toe (or whatever it's called) to show them the said extra joint.
Izuku's eyes began to water themselves. The young boy was now on the verge of crying.

When they came home, Izuku immediately removed his shoes and went up to his room, before beginning to watch the so famous video of All Might's debut again and again.
When his mother entered the room, Izuku turned his head to her, exposing to her his fullu crying eyes before asking her "D-do you think i c-can still become a h-hero Mom?"

Inko began crying. She ran up to her crying son and hugged him tight.
"I'M SORRY IZUKU!"
That night, Izuku cried himself to sleep.

Timeskip

Izuku was gonna meet Kacchan at the park today. He was in fear. In fear that his best and only friend was going to leave him and bully him or something.
He then began to pump up a little.
"Kacchan won't abandon me, i know he isn't like that."

At that precise moment, Katsuki came. Izuku announced him the sad news, and that he was scared of he leaving him behind.
Kacchan then began to reassure our cinnamon roll.
"Don't worry Deku. I won't leave you behind. It's not the simple fact of you being quirkless that will separate us. I'll protect you."

Izuku then asked him: "Deku?"

"Yeah, since you're calling me Kacchan i think that now that you are quirkless i can call you Deku."

"But doesn't that mean that i'm useless?"

"Well, it's a little pun because quirkless people are useless and it sounds a lot like Izuku."
(that sounded much better in my mind, now it just sounds rough)

"Well, i guess we're even now." Proclaimed Katsuki.

Timeskip - 10 years later

Izuku was getting out of school. He succesfully escaped his daily bullying, and began taking the long way home to take a little breather. He took out his phone, opened the Reddit app, and began looking at memes (go check r/DeepFriedMemes and r/GoCommitDie, these are what he mainly browse).
He then heard a loud screeching noise from ahead, making him look up. What he saw nearly made him piss his pants. There was a non-human thing charging at him full speed. Izuku was good at sports, and that helped him. Greatly. At the last second, he dodged to the left, fear engulfing him.

He then had a vision. A man, semi-long hair, in a Greyish purple vest, black pants, some wierd shoes, and what looked like a big blue blanked tied to his waist with a huge purple rope.
(Here's a pic in case you guys don't understand)

What he saw next, was the same man, fighting a shadowed figure, when his eyes glowed red. Everything began to darken until only the glowing red eyes could be seen. The red glow was blinding Izuku more and more, before Izuku saw that monster in front of him again. Izuku's eyes then glowed red too, when he subconciously moved his hands in a wierd manner before spitting an enormous fireball that consumed the monster's every being. Izuku then passed out.

Timeskip

When Izuku woke up, all he saw was a white ceiling. His eyes then began to hurt like hell, making him yell in pain a little.
This alarmed the nurse that he was now awake, and the said nurse went up to the bed he was recovering in.
Izuku then asked the nurse:

"W-where am i?"

"You're now in Musutafu General Hospital, a man brought you here after finding you on the floor, unconcious, eyes bleeding." She replied.

As if on purpose, the said man entered at that exact moment. He then began to speak.

"Hello young one, it is i that brought you here. My name is Toshinori Yagi and i must say that i am curious about your quirk. I knew someone that could do what you did back there too, and his eyes were bleeding occasionnally too."

Izuku then replied:
"What are you talking about? I'm quirkless!"

"🤔. As i thought, it's not a quirk. The man told me it wasn't either. He said it was an inheritage but, besides black hair i can't find anything in common between you two."

"And what was that man called?"

"Sasuke. He presented himself as Sasuke Uchiha, and had the same red pupils than you. I was quite close to this guy if i can say it like that. He was not the sociable type. May i meet your parents?"

"You can meet my mom, she told me my dad left is before i was born. I don't even know his name."

"Well then, guide me to your demise. I have some things to ask your mother."

Izuku then called his mom, telling her that a man who saved him wanted to ask her some questions. She told him to bring him home, and that she'll make some Katsudon for tonight.
Izuku took Yagi home, presenting him to his mom and vice-versa.
Izuku went up to his room. Yagi followed him telling him that he has something to explain him about his eyes before talking to his mother.
Yagi explained everything about his eyes to Izuku, like how to use them. He even teached him some spells so he could use some without tiring himself using his eyes.
Yagi then got out of his room, on his way to his mother, questions in head.
Izuku then told to himself:
"Wow, i can't wait to tell Kacchan about this." before calling his said friend. They were gonna meet at the same park Kacchan showed off his quirk to Izuku 10 years ago.
He was Excited. On his side, Katsuki was too.

Ok so here's 1306 words as a prologue for this story. It's my first time really writing so if it's bad i apologize. I indeed have some ideas for the next chapter, but i'm not going to post it very soon due to how small it would turn out to be, so i'm gonna be needing some more ideas.
