One month and two weeks ago

Tori's POV

Its been a week since Ray suddenly formed this new team called TAMS. I was still shocked that he had even considered it.

I mean, yeah these guys have ultimate talents but it's not even there fight.

I haven't even told them why me and HRTT were being chased. They don't even know the truth about Danganronpa and what they do to the victims/blackened.

I had to choose my actions very carefully and use my cards in the most efficient way.

I'm not sure I really want to be on a team with them.

Don't get me wrong, they're amazing people.

Kichiro is always helping me out during training with Ray although he's not very open. He's pretty mysterious.

Shia is always asking questions about my likes and dislikes and telling me a lot about her as well. She really wants to become good friends.

Shizu reminds me a lot of myself while I was with HRTT. He's always cracking jokes and puns and loves to watch try not to laugh videos. He's a great guy and all. A little odd at times but I like him.

It's just that. I don't want to see them get hurt.

" Alright listen up. It's been over a week of gruelling training and it's time to put it to the test!" Ray announced in the meeting room/ his living room.

"Wait we're being testes?? I thought surviving the training was the test!?" Shizu asked.

" And why exactly would you think that?" Ray asked with a deadpanned face.

" Ray, you made us scale a cliff. With no safety.." I answered

"And? You lived. Even though you passed, you need to practice using them in the field" Ray added.

"Uncle is this just another way of you making me and my friends do your job?" Kichiro asked his uncle:

"..... Anyways! To strengthen you guys as a team. I'll be sending you out to do missions. These missing will require you guys to fight and use your other skills" Ray explained.

" I-I'm not much of a fighter though" Shia spoke up.

" Same here. Hacking normally doesn't involve any form of physical contact.." Shizu added.

" Well sucks to be you. You have to learn how to. Even if you can't throw a punch or kick, there are always other ways you can do so" Ray explained.

"Well. What about weapons? I'm the only one with a weapon os sorts" I asked.

" Glad you asked smartass" Ray answered

"Fuck you" I retorted

" Kichiro, Shizu. Show your "leader" your new toys" Ray instructed.

Shizu and Kichiro stood up to reveal two weapons. Shizu held an RC like Remote as a Drone flew into the room. The drone looked simple enough. Kichiro held a a black whip like weapon with a blade at the end.

" So, a drone and a rope dart? That's it?" I asked.

" Oh believe me. It's more than, meets the eye" Shizu said as the drone deployed a swivel gun from the side.

I raised on of the eye brows.

" Okay. Colour me impressed" I said to Shizu. " What about you?" I asked Kichiro.

Kichiro simple pressed a button shooting the rope dart into the other room. I swear I heard something shatter.

" Oh. Oops..." Kichiro quietly said.

" *sigh* better not have been my favourite mug" Ray said resting his head in his right palm.

" Okay. So you two have weapons. That's a good start. What about Shia?" Tori asked.

" Oh don't worry. She's well prepared" Ray answered.

" I was given the abilities of an ultimate craftsman. I can create small weapons at lightning speed" Shia explained. " Pretty cool right?" She asked me.

I was pretty surprised by this. These guys knew what they were doing.

" Okay... I suppose we can give this a try. What's the plan Ray?" I asked.

" Plan is simple. You four are to stop a potential gang fight from happening down on twelfth street. The gangs, the kapas and dragoons have been rumoured to have initiated a rivalry that has evolved into a full on brawl. You have to stop them by any means necessary. If citizens are caught in the crossfire, it can cause havoc. Use any means necessary to do so. Except killing. We don't need blood on our streets." Ray finished

"Stopping a whole gang fight. That's a pretty extreme first mission." Shizu commented.

" Think you can't handle it?" Ray asked.

" Now now. I didn't say that. I've been sooo boreeed. Part of the main reason why I'm doing this" Shizu admitted.

" I'm doing this to get closer with my new friends" Shia added

" I'm doing this for honour." Kichiro answered.

"... I'm doing it to get stronger" I answered.

" Well then. Seems it's settled. By the way. You guys need to use codenames." Ray explained.

" Codenames?" Shia repeated.

" Yeah. Tori, when you are going out for leisure, you are to use the alias of Troy East since you are technically wanted. You will also go as Mr. Black when going out on missions. Kichiro, you are to be referred to as Mr. Blue. Shia, Ms. Yellow. Shizu, Mr. Green." Ray said dubbing us.

" Wow really, Mr. Black?" I asked

" You know I didn't mean it like that... Also. You are to cover your faces and conceal your true identities." Ray said

Ray handed Kichiro a blue bandana that covered his eyes but was see-through. Shia a yellow sun hat with a baby blue bow tieing it and Shizu a green face mask.

"Okay. You're all set. And guys remember. Be careful and watch each other's backs. But most importantly, come back in one piece" Ray told us

The four of us nodded with determined eyes and left the junkyard.

It felt so nostalgic. Me running through the streets of Kobe with three others by my side. It was exhilarating, but also painful.

We finally made it to twelfth street where we saw two groups pulling out weapons ranging from guns to knuckle brasses.

" Oi look it here? The crapas!" Teased a gang member from the opposing group

"At least my gang isn't named after a Beyblade" a member of the opposite gang retorted

This is honestly making me cringe.

"So... What should we do leader?" Kichiro asked

Kichiro didn't know this, but I was already fighting.

I closed my fists engulfing my arms in a metal fist. I punched both gang members square in the jaws knocking them out

"Boss!" All gang members screamed for their collective leaders

"GET HIM!" one of them screamed.

I was ready to fight until one of them are swept from beneath. Kichiro had yanked one of them by the legs with his rope.

Shizu had fired his stun bullets at a few of them causing them to fritz as though they had been electrocuted.

" Nice one!" I said congratulating them

Things were going great as me, Shizu and Kichiro continues fighting together in perfect sync

But I then remembered, we're team TAMS, not TAS

" Hey, Tsuki!-..." I said stopping midway when I realized what I had just said

I looked at Shia who had a surprised face at what I had said

Kichiro and Shizu had also stopped fighting when they heard those words

It felt like an old wound had been reopened at the thought of her. I then started to remember my time with team HRTT as it eventually got to when I last saw them.

" Tori?" Shia said reaching out for me

I didn't know how to react or even what to say to the others. So I ran. I ran from the others. The gang members had already run away from our attacks. I just kept running.

eventually, after what felt like hours of running, I arrived at a park.

I was breathing heavily as I held my chest. My face was sweating and my eyes were bloodshot.

I then fell to my head into my core. I eventually fell over as I began to remember more of what happened to them

I could visualize their faces. Hear their voices. Play out our conversations.

I began to feel my eyes water as the memories continued to come back

I then started banging my head viciously on the ground bawling my eyes out and howling like a madman.

"IT'S ALL MY FAULT!" I screamed at my self

" You know it! They're gone because of you! Everyone leaves and you really think THEY would stay because they some how tolerated having you around? Ha! Don't lie to yourself!"

I hated myself at that moment. All I wanted to do was perish

I couldn't take all this pain.

But then I remembered. Even if they didn't really want me around. I still love them either way.

I want to see them be happy.

I want to hear them laugh

I want to even be able to look at them

Ask them simple questions even lime "How was your day"

Even if they hate me

Resent me for failing them

Even hope that I died after the incident

All I want, is for them to be happy

They were the closest thing I had to family.

But. There was also them.

They only knew me for an hour and are training with me

Giving me a chance even without knowing my skills

No ones ever done that before

They probably think I hate them

I don't. I really like them. It's only been a week and I already feel attached to them

I owe them a serious apology

Eventually, I had calmed down

I rested my head in my knees as I began to calm down

" I swear. Honey. Tsuki. Rosé..."

"I'll find you. Wherever you are. Even if it kills me"

" Kichiro. Shia. Shizu. I won't let you three down either"

"You're my family"
