After Hitler invades Stalin's Russia, the war with the u.k. de-escalates gradually, into a ceasefire (whether defacto or formal). the usa & uk (& co.) adopt a policy of neutral observation, & let germany & the ussr fight each other out to exhaustion.  the western-democratic alliance gives eaxch side enough support, alternatively, sometime simultaneously, overt &/or covert  (i.e.; "lend-lease" -type?), to keep them both going.  

& puts pressure on each side to commit to (& implement/apply)democratic reforms (border agreements, & other things... ), etc.  

but what happens with the japan-china (aka sino-japanese) war?  - involvement in the ussr-germany conflict? who? & on which side(s)?  

& how does the american situation play out? i.e.:  pearl harbour ("harbor" :p) or not?  or what happens...-_?  

& what about uk & ethiopia-eritrea/italy?  etc.? 

(& what about the oil in libya, etc.?)
