First Meeting

     "(Y/N)."

     Your friend Rei Nasu called your name, waving you over. She seemed to be standing next to a teenager with brown hair and a mushroom-like haircut...

     Wait, is that the No.2 Sniper in Border? You thought as you walked  towards your friend.

     Rei smiled at you. "(Y/N), this is my cousin, Toru Narasaka. Toru, this is my friend (Y/N) (L/N). She's an Engineer.

     Narasaka gave you a slight smile. "Nice to meet you, (L/N)." He held out his hand. "I'm quite impressed to meet a female Engineer."

     "Nice to meet you too, Narasaka. And thank you, I am currently the only female Engineer." You shook his hand.

     Rei seemed to smirk. "I'll leave you two to talk..."

Developing Feelings For Him+He Falls For You

Nasu's POV

"(Y/N), could you come see me please? Right now," I spoke into the phone.

     "Right now?" She asked. "Rei, I have homework."

     "But I want you to come over now." And, in a whispering voice, I coaxed her. "Toru is here~"

     A pause.

     "(Y/N)?"

     "I'll be there in fifteen minutes."

     I chuckled and ended the call, setting the phone on my bedside.

Toru sat next to my bed in a chair, and he raised an eyebrow quizzically. "Who did you call?" He asked as he peeled the apple.

I smiled happily. "(Y/N)."

Toru paused his actions for a moment. "Is... Is she visiting you?"

I nodded.

I could hear him sigh and keep peeling the apple.

"Do you not like (Y/N)?" I asked suggestively.

A few seconds passed before he answered.

"No... It's not that I don't like (Y/N)..." he trailed off.

"And?~"

"And..." He started cutting into the apple with the sharp knife. "That's it."

"Oh," I said. "Really? Nothing more?"

I leaned in a bit. "Ah, yes, of course, you like (Y/N), is that it?"

Toru was silent, placing the apple slices upon the plate. "Eat."

I just smirked.

(Okay, this doesn't really show how Reader-chan and Narasaka like each other, but I had no ideas.)

Confession Time

     Hey, all Border agents who are reading this, who do you like?

     The survey on the Border blog (run by some kid named Miyoshi that was (Name)'s cousin who was dating Kazama) was pretty usual for this site. Some others were "What's your favorite food, Border agents 🥘?" and "Hey, Border agents, what do you guys do on a typical Friday night? #fridays".

     And, since Miyoshi could keep track of who went on his site and would be really frustrated if a Border agent skipped out on one of his surveys, you typed in your answer.

     Narasaka.

     It was lost in the sea of Border agents that had typed in "Karasama!!!" or "Kid, I don't like anyone."

But then one answer popped up.

"(Y/N) (L/N)."

You stared at the username for a moment.

You smiled.

The next day--

"(L/N)."

"Eep!"

You whipped your head and turned to look at who snuck up on you. "Oh, N-Narasaka? Hey..."

"Hey..." Narasaka awkwardly said. He took a deep breath. "Did you... Did you actually mean that you liked me when you completed that survey..? Or was it just because you needed an answer to give?"

You looked at him in the eyes. "Yes." Your eyes flickered to the side. "I did mean that I liked you... And I saw your answer too.."

A light blush coated Narasaka's face. "Oh."

"Oh."

Narasaka looked around for a moment. "Um.. Since we both, er, like eachother... Will you meet me at the park on Saturday, noon?"

You blushed. "Is that a date?"

"N—Um, maybe."

You blushed a little harder.

"Sure. Park, Saturday, noon?"

Narasaka smiled.

"Yeah. I'll see you there?"

You smiled cheekily. "Is it a date?"

"Definitely."

"Then I'll see you there."

First Kiss

     It's been a month since you two were together.

     But nothing more that a peck on the cheek was shared between the two.

     Today, Narasaka was determined to change that.

     He knocked on the girl's door.

     "Come in!"

     He twisted the doorknob and opened the door.

     (Y/N) was sketching out a picture of something, sitting at the dining table.

     She looked up. "Hey, Toru."

     Toru gave a nod. "(Y/N)."

     She smiled at him. "Sit."

     He took a seat beside (Y/N). "What are you drawing?"

     "More like who. I'm drawing you and Rei."

     "Really?"

     "Yeah." She stuck out her tongue in concentration as she picked up an ink pen and started carefully tracing the drawing, turning the paper as she went on to get the correct angle. "Have you eaten yet?"

     "Yes, I have, thanks for asking."

     "No prob."

     Time went on without a word being spoken between the two.

     (Y/N) used Prismacolor colored pencils to color in the drawing and blend together the colors.

     It really looked like Toru and his cousin.

     "Aaaand..." She signed her name in the corner in black Sharpie. "Done!"

     The (H/C)-haired girl proudly showed off her artwork.

     Toru was pleasantly surprised. "Wow.. That's.."

     "You like it?" She grinned. "Prismacolor works with everything."

"It's amazing, (Y/N)."

"Thank you!" She glimmered. "So..." She continued. "Do I get a reward...?"

This was it. This was his chance.

"Yes... Close your eyes, (Y/N)."

(Y/N) obediently followed his instructions.

Toru took a deep breath and exhaled. He quietly leaned in, capturing her lips in a sweet kiss.

Needless to say, this time (Y/N) was pleasantly surprised.

People Find Out

You quietly fiddled with the Bayonet-Kogetsu prototype Trigger. "Hey, Raizo,"

"Mm?" The Chief Engineer mumbled.

"Do you think that we should make a Trigger that captures opponents with nets? We could base it off of the Spider Trigger."

"(Y/N), do you really think people would want to capture others in Rank Wars with nets instead of shooting them in the head or using Scorpion to launch a Mole Claws attack?"

"It could be for Away Missions when Away Teams take people's Triggers."

"Not now, (Y/N)."

"Fine." You sighed. You stole a piece of popcorn from Enedorad and Raizo's popcorn bowl. "Then what do you want to talk about? All you're doing currently is watching 13 Reasons Why with Enedrad and eating popcorn. Let's do some real work."

"I'm on break." Radio retaliated.

"You've been on break for the past three hours!" You complained.

"And you've been doing nothing but play around with the Bayonet-Kogetsu prototype."

"Argh!" You slumped down next to your cousin Raizo.

"Let me ask you again," You said in annoyance. "What do you wanna talk about?"

Raizo quietly smiled. "You and the number two sniper in Border are dating right?"

Your face brightened up with blush. "Eh?!"

"Oh, yeah, I'm definitely right," You heard Enedorad chuckle evilly as Raizo conversed with you. "I see the way you look at him, little cousin, and I bet you brought up the idea of a Kogetsu Bayonet because your boyfriend is a sniper."

"Shut up!" You hissed. "He's not my boyfriend..." You said quieter.

"Oh, he's totally your boyfriend." Raizo smirked.

"Ugh. You freaking evil mastermind."

"Did I.. walk in on something?"

You turned your head towards the voice you knew so well.

Toru was standing at the entrance with his disciples Akane Hiura and Shohei Kodera.

"No." You sighed and got up. "Anyways, what brings you three here?"

"We wanted to test the Bayonet Trigger." Toru replied.

"Mhmm." You mumbled, pressing buttons on the controls. "I'll get the virtual training room set up and you guys can get started."

Earlier...

"Wait, what?"

Yosuke blinked in disbelief.

"You have a girlfriend now too, Narasaka?"

Narasaka focused on his papers. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

"O rly?" Yosuke wriggled his eyebrows up and down in a meme-ish way.

"Actually," Yosuke laughed. "I think Kodera and Tsukimi are the only ones on the squad who are single! And I'm pretty surprised that Shuji got a girlfriend before me, a Tamakoma girl, no less!"

Their squad captain walked into the room.

"Speak of the devil," Narasaka mumbled. "And he shall appear."

And as if Miwa could hear Yosuke from the comms (heh heh, commversation), he spoke. "Yosuke, this isn't the time to talk about whether or not our squad mates are single." He sat down across from Yosuke.

"And it's pretty obvious that I would get a girlfriend earlier than you..." Miwa mumbled.

"Hey!"

"Narasaka! Kodera!"

Akane Hiura burst through the doors.

"How did you get our code to get into our squad room?" Was the first thing Miwa said.

Akane smiled brightly. "I asked Jin!"

Everyone but Yosuke and Tsukimi groaned.

"I'll have to change it..." Miwa grumbled, knotting his fingers in his hair.

"Anyway," Akane said cheerfully. "(L/N) said we could go over and test out the Bayonet Trigger any time, so can we go, Narasaka, Kodera?"

Narasaka raised an eyebrow, eyes still focused on his Away Mission admission papers. "Didn't she say that last month?"

"Yeah," She chirped. "But she said 'any time', so she definitely means any time at all!"

Kodera got up. "Sure, I can go."

Narasaka set down his pen. "Permission to leave?"

"Permission granted." Miwa fumbled for a hair clip to pin back the hair in his eyes.

Narasaka stood up. "Let's go."

The second the trio made it down the empty hallways (Duh, it was five in the morning), Akane somehow considerably brightened more than before. "Are you and (L/N) dating, Narasaka?"

Narasaka doubled over, choking on his own saliva, shocked by the random question.

He coughed, leaning on a wall for support and felt Kodera pat his back.

Narasaka waited for a moment to regain his composure.

"What?" He managed to wheeze out. "Why did you—*cough*— ask me that?"

"Well..." Akane said. "I saw you two at a café together."

"That's all the evidence you have?" Narasaka said in disbelief.

"Also, Nasu told me."

"How did Rei—"

"And Nasu would never lie to anyone."

Narasaka's disciples stared at him for a moment.

"So..." This time, it was Kodera who spoke. "Are you really dating her?"

Narasaka let out a puff of air.

"...Yes."

Akane and Kodera started to smile.

"...What?"

"We're just happy for you, that's all." Akane said.

Narasaka sighed, straightening himself up. "Not a word of this to anyone. Not Miwa, not Yosuke (I forgot what Narasaka called Yosuke, sorry), not Tsukimi. And since Rei told you, Akane, did she tell your teammates?"

Akane nodded.

Narasaka pursed his lips. "Make sure they don't tell anyone, please."

Akane nodded. "Okay, I promise!"

Narasaka looked at Kodera expectantly.

"I promise none of this will slip out."

Narasaka smiled slightly at both of them. "Thank you. (Y/N) and I will tell everyone in our own time, but right now I hold you two to your word. Understand?"

They nodded. "Understood!"

Cuddles

"But... That's so stupid..."

You mumbled commentary under your breath. "Bees are all born from the Queen Bee and various other male bees. Why does Barry have parents?"

"I know." Toru said. "And exactly why did we pick this movie out?"

"Because Yosuke said that this movie was 'Memey'. What does 'memey' mean?"

"Honestly, I have no idea."

You reached for the remote. "I'm going to change the movie."

Toru snuggled his face into your shoulder, leaving a light kiss on the back of your neck. "Go ahead. I suggest Hacksaw Ridge, though, Miwa said it's good."

You snorted, shifting your position in Toru's lap. "Miwa would say any war movie is good."

"True."

Your general position was you sitting on Toru's lap (back facing him) while he was in a kind of criss-cross-apple-sauce position. He had his arms wrapped loosely around your waist and head on your shoulder.

You leaned back into his chest. "Hey, you wanna watch Arrow?"

Toru wrinkled his nose. "Isn't that a TV show?"

"Yeah, but it's good." You replied. "Oliver and Thea are awesome. I don't really like Laurel as much, though. And hey, did you know that Thea's dad—"

He slipped a hand over your mouth. "No spoilers."

Wearing Something of His

     All you wanted to do was spend a day with your boyfriend.

     But noooooooo! Toru's stupid neighbor just had to go on vacation to find a frog named PePe and leave you to dog-sit their dog Doge.

     Seriously, who names their dog Doge? Probably some really meme-obsessed person, AKA Toru's neighbor.

     "Ack! Ugh, what are you, a floppy fish?!"

     Doge thrashed around in the water. Toru, that wonderful boyfriend, managed to pick up the dog out of the small tub and dry him off, placing him inside his cage.

     You squeezed some water out of your light blue t-shirt. "I hate that dog..." You mumbled.

     Toru chuckled, brushing some wet caramel-colored hair out of his eyes. "I have to deal with Doge  quite a lot, since he always jumps over on me whenever I walk home from school or Border.

     His little chuckles faded away as he eyed your shirt, a light blush dusting over his cheeks. "Um, you might want to change or cover  your shirt. It's, um, a little translucent."

     A roaring red blush enveloped your face as you grabbed Toru's jacket (which was conveniently placed nearby) and tugged it on.

     You covered your chest and huffed. "There. Better?"

     He looked at you with his jacket on.

     "Much better."

He Hears You Singing

(Song 1-Oh, Calamity! by All Time Low. Song 2-For Forever from Dear Evan Hansen[with a few adjustments])

"Yeah, but, Superman would blast Saitama to bits."

"Really, Yosuke? Are you serious?" Toru sighed. "Saitama is practically invincible. It doesn't matter if Superman is your favorite superhero. Saitama would kill Superman in one punch, with or without Kryptonite."

"No way! Fan power runs through Superman's veins! He's the freaking man of steel!"

"Saitama could break steel in one punch."

"But—Wait, is that a crowd gathered around—Holy crap, Narasaka," Yosuke pointed towards a crowd gathered around three people. "I think a group is crowding around your girlfriend and some other girl in some sort of singing competition with the other guy as a host or something..."

Toru knit his eyebrows and grabbed Yosuke's hand, bringing him towards the group, nudging other spectators out for the way.

The other girl was singing.

—Oh, calamity
Come back to me!

The crowd clapped politely.

The host announced. "Aaaaaand now we have (Y/N) (L/N) singing For Forever from the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen!"

Toru caught your eye. You winked at him and started to sing when they put on the instrumental music.

Already people were awed at the raw emotion in your voice, a slight tremble at some parts sent shivers down Toru and Yosuke's spines.

     A few people were brought to tears by how much emotion you used while singing "Me too." Those two words alone.

     Yosuke was one of those people.

     A few more people were crying now.

     When you ended, people were sobbing, including the host and your opponent.

     You smiled. "Thank you."

     And you walked over to Toru and hugged him.

     *cue 'aww'ing and more sobbing*
