Getting to Know Eachother and Getting More Tolerable/ Yo Feels

Over the time you both spent together, you guys became close. Jin and Rindo convinced you that Hyuse was just like the Tamakoma Engineer and wasn't going to hurt you. Hyuse reluctantly apologized for your sister's death. "Um... I am truly sorry of what happened to your sister. Uh.... Please.... Forgive... Me.......?" The boy looked awkward and possibly a bit guilty. You had just sighed and said, "It's okay, it's not your fault. Sorry for accusing you." You bowed a bit.

"So.... Where are you gonna sleep...?" Hyuse asked. "I have a bed here in the basement so...." A long, awkward silence enveloped the room. "Um... I can sleep on the floor until Jin and Rindo move my bed here, I guess." Hyuse shrugged. "You can sleep on my bed while I sleep on the floor..." You were quite shocked at how polite and sincere Hyuse was to you. He caught you staring and snapped, "What?! That's just the polite thing to do, especially for a woman! Plus, I'm used to sleeping on the floor, anyway." Hyuse sat on the floor near the bed. You, standing at the closed door, blushed a bright pink. "Oh, um, thank you for offering, but I can't just kick you out of your bed--" "Yes you can. It's past--How does Meeden time work?-- I'm guessing 'ten thirty-three p-m', so go to sleep. It's really dark out." He motioned to the window. "Goodnight." "But--" "Goodnight." Hyuse lied on his stomach (cuz his horns) and closed his eyes. Your look softened. He's not such a bad person... You thought. He's not that bad-looking either... Wait, what am I thinking?! You sighed. You and Hyuse had already showered, brushed your teeth, changed into pajamas, etc, so you climbed onto the bed. Hyuse's soft breaths filled the room. ...Do I really like him? You thought hard for a while. You smelled a faint scent of lilacs in the pillow. It... kind of smells like Hyuse... Yep. I definitely like him. You looked at his sleeping form. It was shivering a bit. After all, it was fall and the boy was wearing flannel shorts and a worn t-shirt in a room with no heat. You silently got up from the bed and walked over to the closet. You opened it slowly, a light creak emitting from the door. You took out a beige cotton blanket and quietly closed the door. You walked over to the sleeping form of Hyuse. You softly draped the blanked over him. He stirred. "Mmm..." He turned a bit, opening his eyes. You stared into the brilliant blue. "Sorry I woke you. You seemed a bit cold." The brunette looked at the blanket and then at you. "It's okay. Thank you." He once again closed his eyes. "Now sleep." You smiled faintly as you climbed ontop of the bed again, wrapping yourself in the warm blankets. You buried your head in the soft pillow, breathing in Hyuse's scent. "Goodnight." You said. "...Goodnight."

"What is this feeling? Why do I stutter when I talk to her? Why do I feel a tingling sensation in my hands when she touched them? Why do my cheeks heat up when she laughs? Why do I act like a fool when she's around? What kind of spell did she cast on me in order to make me act like this and why can't I remove it?!" I ranted to Jin when he was off duty. I paced around his room as he gave me that annoying shit-eating grin. I was alone with Jin in Tamakoma, so why not rant about my troubles to him? I crossed my arms, stopping in front of his form sitting on his own bed. "Well?" Jin chuckled. "Well, you love (Y/N)." I blinked as I felt my heart race and blood rushing up to my cheeks to display emotion. "Like, like like? Love?! No way!" Jin chuckled again and said, "Yes way. You tooooootes like (Y/N), and if you don't confess to her by Saturday, I'll tell everyone about your first, cute crush! I bet she likes you too!" I glared. "What? No!" The man smirked. "Yep. And to make that confession special--er, you know a ton of languages, right?" I nodded warily. "You expect me to confess to her in a Meeden language?" He nodded eagerly. I sighed. "Fine... Only if she likes me back!!" "Oh, she does~" Jin then did and evil laugh and left the room, going to cook dinner. I sighed. "I will never understand that man..."

     "Hey, (Y/N)?" Hyuse asked you. "Do you know how to say 'I love you' in different languages?" You blushed, nodding. "I looked it up for fun once... I know some, as well as Elvish from the Lord of the Rings..." Hyuse also seemed to blush. "Um, okay, so... Je t'aime..." You blushed. "Wô aí nì, S'agapo, Ich liebe dich, Eg elska tig, szeretlek, kocham ciebie, ya tebuya liubliu, te amo, ti amo, wa ga ei li, ngo oiy ney a, volim te, amin mela lle, ik hou van jou, and aishiteru. I guess what I'm trying to say is that... I love you, (Y/N) (L/N)..." Your face was a bright red. "Hyuse... ich liebe dich auch... I love you too." You hugged him and kissed his cheek. I am the luckiest girl in the world.

     "(Y/N), Yuma told me there was a fun game I could play with you. It's called the Pocky Game."

     That was the same situation that happened with (Name) and Yuma. Now it was happening to you and Hyuse.

     "Um, Hyuse, are you sure...?" He snorted. "Yeah, (Y/N), I'm not stupid nor a child." You sighed and put the piece of Pocky between your lips, as Hyuse did as well. You took small nibbles as Hyuse did full-on bites. Soon there was only a bit of Pocky left. Feeling embarrassed, you broke away. Hyuse kept the bit of Pocky in his mouth, hidden. "Hey, there's still a little Pocky left. Here." He grabbed your chin with his thumb and index finger as his other hand brought you onto his lap. He brought his lips to yours. You felt your cheeks turn red as Hyuse slipped his tongue inside and switched the Pocky from his mouth to yours. Hyuse let go of your chin and let one of his hands rest on your hips. He chuckled at your red face, his captivating blue eyes sparkling. "I told you, I'm not stupid nor a child. I'm not completely innocent, (Y/N). Just because I don't get Meeden slang doesn't mean I'm this delicate little snowflake, okay?" You turned your gaze from him, swallowing the Pocky. "Okay." You squeaked. God, his smirk kills me. He still has one over his smug little face... But it's pretty hot. "C'mere." Hyuse placed a hand on your cheek and pulled you in for another kiss.

People Find Out

Alright, let's be honest here, half of HQ doesn't now Hyuse is in Tamakoma's custody, and Suzunari and the rest of the branches (except for Tamakoma) probably don't even now Hyuse exists, and Tamakoma knew that you two were dating because of Jin.

Cuddly-Wuddly

You were out on Defense Duty late that night, so Hyuse took advantage of that and huddled himself in the blankets, but unable to sleep. Hey, at least he found out that he could actually sleep on his side (Just pretend)!

You exited the bathroom after doing your nighttime routine. You stretched, hearing some satisfying cracks. "Defense Duty by myself sure is stressful, but at least I can do it on my own." You chuckled. "Shows just how strong I am!" You glanced at the clock. 11:30 pm... Better get to sleep. Upon going to the room you shared with Hyuse, you noticed that you bed was still not moved in. Not that you or Hyuse minded, you just wanted to avoid tripping over each other in the morning. "Hi, (Y/N)." "Hyuse..? Aren't you supposed to be sleeping?" You questioned your boyfriend. "Can't sleep. Can you help me...?" You smiled and nodded. You climbed onto the bed and huddled into the blankets with him. He pulled you close to him and you put your ear against his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat. Then, you started to hum a soft lullaby, eventually lulling you both to sleep.
