It feels wonderful to get back your daughter after so many years....

Finally Healed!!!

Yesterday when Nandini called us and told us everything that happened in Sydney shocked us...but when we heard that finally Chaahat accepted Nandini as her mom, there was no bounds to our happiness and today her confession was something we always craved.

But does everything happen according to our wish and expectations.

After Chaahat's confession we got to know Neiv had a surgery which went succesful. Everyone was happy and we thought this is the time to talk to Dev and Ishu Bhabhi...

'This is impossible Bela... that girl will never become our daughter in law... she is anything but fit for Neiv!!!

My son suffered ages and years due to her stupidity. I'm sorry...I've already chosen a daughter in law for me... Kruthi is perfect for Neiv and has always been by his side...it's a NO from our side... my Neiv suffered enough not any more... she's a curse in my son's life!!!' Ishu Bhabhi announced at once.

Although Dev tried to explain Ishu Bhabhi she shrugged him off... now that Ishu Bhabhi was extremely stubborn post Neiv's accident.

We were leaving Kapoor Mansion disappointed post listening a 'No' from Ishu Bhabhi... while we saw Chaahat at the door step...

We tried stopping her but she went infront of Ishu Bhabhi...

Fell on her knees and said...

'I love Neiv...I love him more than my life... But you are right aunty...I am a curse...I'm the bad luck in his life...but I still love him... madly...badly... crazily' and Ishaani looked at her once and turned her face...

'Ive already chosen my daughter in law for Neiv' while looking elsewhere...

Chaahat silently nodded her head and left the house...

Went back to her room in our house and locked herself.

It hurt us to see our child like that...but then it was expected.

Neiv was discharged and brought to Kapoor Mansion in a week's time. All the functions were been postponed for a month.

We also postponed Musky's wedding as she was somehow not ready to have a function at home while her bestie was still in the hospital and her sister had converted herself into a living robot.

Chaahat's routine was now all about work work and work.

She had began taking up the load that earlier Neiv and Veer handled. Ishu Bhabhi had took charge of designing for Gaya's-Behir's in her son's absence.

With that Chaahat was working with Ishu Bhabhi for the first time. We were initially concerned about how will they be able to work together with their conflicting opinions and ideas but they were perfect professionals.

Infact slowly we noticed Ishu Bhabhi having a good professional bond with Chaah however personally they kept themselves at a distance.

How we wished they bonded like mother and daughter...or like mother in law and daughter in law!!!

Ishaani's POV:

'Chaahat....these designs require approval immediately...they must go into production' I said while knocking at her room..

She quickly stood up and welcomed me...

It's the first time I was seeing her room. I usually don't take office work back home but today I was helpless as this had to be faxed immediately and needed her approval in absence of Neiv and Veer. I could have gone to both but I didn't want both to indulge themselves back at work so I thought of meeting Chaahat.

'Oh...I'm sorry aunty... maybe it got missed out...let me approve them right away...please sit aunty'

I kept looking at Chaahat...she looked quite weak. The professional boss like woman was a simple girl with a tshirt pajama, black framed thick glasses, a high messy bun, no make up with heavy dark circles. While she kept checking the papers I looked around her room. It was all white with a wooden cupboard with a small idol of Lord Ganesha with a diya 🪔 lightened infront of it...a wooden table, a business chair. But suddenly my eyes fell on the lamp table next to her bed which had a lot of pictures of the Sehgals but what caught my attention was a picture of hers with Neiv...

'Ummm aunty...it's da...da... done' she said trying to stand infront of the lamp table... probably trying to hide the picture.

I was about to leave the room when I saw Maan entering the room saying
'Di...the papers you asked me to prep is all read' and he stopped on his tracks...

'Oh Hi aunty....I didn't know you were here...Ill come later'

'Ummm no Maan...I'm done...you can...talk to Chaahat...I'm leaving'

Turning around I looked at Chaahat...
'Bye Chaahat... goodnight' I wished her and she smiled...

I walked till the staircase then remembered I forgot my phone so I went back while I heard Maan talking to her...

'Di this is madness... You are writing off the entire property and rights off to Neiv Bhai... What will you do... Behir's is your baby'

And I was shocked 😳

I knew listening to someone's talks was wrong but I had to...it was important...

'Because I know Neiv is the best person to handle this business...I can handle the rest of Garewal's business which is vast. Ive always ignored it and dumped it on Amma... Now I will help Amma... she's getting old and Khushi wants to be a doctor...so there's no one to handle it...so...yup... '

'But Di... Behir's is your dream'

'And Neiv Kapoor is the right man to take care of it'

'Di you want to go away from here na...I have noticed...it's been a month and you haven't gone to Kapoor Mansion even once. You are avoiding to face Neiv Bhai'

'Maan.... enough!!! You are a kid... stay that way...you are my lawyer not MyPie to question me! Remember I'm still your Di!!!'

'I know Di...but when elders do something stupid it's youngsters duty to tell them...you can run away from India not from Neiv Bhai'

'Im not running away Mannnn...stop!!! I just don't want to be a fishbone in his throat...he clearly hates me... His mother doesn't want me to be a part of their family... she thinks I'm a curse...I ....I don't want to...this is the best thing I can do... And probably the only thing in my hands...I always thought Kruthi isnt right for Neiv but Ishu aunty has choosen her for Neiv... She's his mother! She can't go wrong! And above all I have brought enough tsunami in their lives... enough is enough...' saying she walked out of the room...

While my eyes met hers...

'Umm...a.... aunty...hi...ummm...'

'Ummm I....I.... forgot my phone'

'Ohhhh ok...yeah...'

I took my phone as Chaahat passed by my side..

I saw her reflection in the huge mirror on the side wall trying to hide tears...

She exactly reminded me of Neiv few years ago...and the Neiv I still see at times when he is aloof...

It breaks my heart to see her like that...Am I doing a mistake here??? Should I talk to Neiv???

Yes!!! I probably should...

Thinking about it...

I went directly to Neiv's room when I saw him lying down and staring at the roof. He kept the bedroom window closed...I went to open it...

'No Maa... I don't like the wind' he said...

'Is it the wind or the view Neiv?' I asked firmly...

'Maa I don't like either!' he said looking elsewhere...

'Neiv I wanted to talk to you something... '

'I also wanted to Maa' he said...

'Do you still love Chaahat?' I asked

'I love you more Maa' he said...

'To the point Neiv Kapoor! Do you love her?'

To which he closed his eyes tightly like he's trying to succumb something and said...

'Maa I want to marry Kruthi...this weekend'

And I was shocked 😳

He wants to marry Kruthi in next 3 days and I just couldn't take it...

I should be happy but somehow I didn't feel happy because I could see my son looked unhappy.

Neiv walked with help of clutches, he was still recovering, Dishani's wedding got postponed for a month, his engagement itself was cancelled out and no one was in a mood of celebration and here my son wanted to marry in next 3 days!!!

While I was trying to avoid it I hear Dev saying...
'Excellent...I'll talk to the Talwar's...I'm sure Kruthi will be super excited listening to this'

When I looked at Dev giving a 'Are you really serious' expression!

But he was!!!

I have never been able to understand this father-son duo ever!!!

Chaahat.... I don't know why my heart was feeling so much for her...

She really loves Neiv...
If she didn't she would have selfishly tried to acquire him..now it was easy too as she was handling his business and everything but here she was working as his replacement and not just that was giving away her property so she avoids Neiv so she stands true to her name...

Where as .. here I have not seen Kruthi visiting Neiv since last one month...

She's been calling me... calling Neiv...busy prepping for the engagement but I don't see her coming to visit Neiv... Although Mrs Talwar said she's busy with engagement preparations I didn't understand the need of a lavish engagement when Neiv wasn't keeping well...

His limping leg was scary now... Doctors did a physiotherapy even then he was limping...

How I wish a miracle happened and my son begins to walk like before!
