(Faceclaim: Caterina Isaia - @caterinaisaia on Insta)
She's 5'4

Personality: Despite her name, Tsunami is a rather calm individual. She mainly sticks to her own lane, not as rambunctious as those around her. She stands out in a crowd because of her calmness and lack of hyperactivity. She is a lover of art, which isn't much different than many in her pack, but she is more a lover of music. Any kind of music, she loves. She may be calm and quiet, but that isn't a sign of any naivety or gentleness. She can be quite brash and blunt with those around her, and even when she doesn't intend harm with her words, sometimes harm still falls. She has a very harsh outlook on the world, in the eyes of others, but to her that's simply how she sees and processes it. People are tough - she never knows how to not hurt their feelings or how to soften her words so that someone won't be taken aback by them. But music? Music is easy to understand. Music is her friend and comforter, even when no one else is. She is incredibly intelligent, but she doesn't have the most emotional intelligence. Not for lack of trying, but it's just hard. But despite all that, when you truly start to understand her, she is a very thoughtful and gentle soul, she just communicates in ways that people don't understand. She may not be able to soothe you with words, but she will compose a beautiful song to bring you ease, or buy you that thing you mentioned liking all those months or years back, or perhaps she will make sure you go to that place you like. It doesn't seem like she understands, but she does, and she provides her love in the only ways she knows how - act of service and gifts. When people get past her abrasiveness, short answers, and lack of tone, they will find a loving soul who is just trying their best. Nami is a very rigid person, though, both physically and verbally. Her words are often delievered more monotone with slight inflection, her facial expression doesn't typically give much away, and she's physically tense when she's stressed or uncomfortable. But people get the chance to see the real her when she performs - usually pieces she composed herself - whether she is performing by herself or with others. She is so loose, free, and fully brilliant. She loses track of everyone and everything except the music, giving herself to it and bringing it to life. After every performance she is always glowing, far more open and expressive than she usually is, a smile there for people to see.

Likes: music, instruments, being understood and accepted, people putting in effort and patience, her headphones, performing, watching performances, art, sharing in art

Dislikes: being misunderstood, not understanding others, getting so frustrated she can't talk, everything being too much, being confused, being alone/loneliness

Powers: shifts into a wolf; heightened senses, speed, strength, durability, and reflexes while in human form (it's complicated - see 'Other')

Backstory: Tsunami is the one-month younger half-sister to Typhoon Yoko Wells, older sister to Tecta Nic Wells, and the older half-sister of Wild Fyre Wells. Being one of eight is always weird, especially given the hands-off approach to parenting that her parents had. As with all her siblings, she was left to roam the hotel as she pleased, only she didn't. She stayed hidden away in her room, or attending various music lessons, or venturing into the hotel proper if one of her siblings prompted her to. But she was scared of her pack, as a child. Of the wildness and the chaos. She didn't understand it, she didn't know how to navigate it, and she didn't like it. When she finally had the confidence to maybe go out on her own, she got bowled over by a group of rambunctious packmates on their way to the club, all in varying states of inebriation. She'd smashed her head, got trampled, and scrambled back to her room as soon as she was able - she was only 11. She stayed in her room for two weeks, refusing to leave, until her mother finally returned to the room because Nami's music teacher was worried that she hadn't been showing up to lessons, which she had multiple times a week. Her music teacher was a woman in the pack, named Alberta, who practically raised her, and stopped charging her parents music lesson fees as such. Nami moved in with her when she was 12, only a few months after the incident - neither of her parents had even noticed what had happened, because they hadn't been back to the room in weeks. Life got better when she started living with Alberta and her already impressive talent soared. Trained in all manner of instruments, Tsunami especially loves and thrives with the cello. It is her favorite instrument in existence and playing it sometimes brings her to tears. However, she is skilled with most string instruments, the flute, and the piano. Once Tecta started dancing, the two of them became quite close, their love of music and that kind of world bonding them, to this day. They still perform together - he choreographs to her music and sometimes she makes music to his choreography. Out of all her siblings, she is closest with Tecta, but she lives on her own, in the suite that she inherited from Alberta upon her passing, which she keeps in pristine condition and will not allow anyone but approved family and some friends into. Sometimes she stays in her suite for days and days and days at a time, but Tecta has gotten good at checking in on her and bringing her to get food or walk in the garden - something to get her out. He seems to understand her in ways no one else does and she sometimes wonders if it is their shared love of music/dance, or if it is because out of the eight siblings, Tecta is the only one she is fully blood-related to, if that somehow means that they understand one another on a soul level because of it. Still, Tsunami loves her siblings even if she isn't close with most of them, and they've all come to appreciate her in their own ways, even if some get annoyed and frustrated with her more quickly. Sometimes the best way to maintain the relationship is from afar - like the case with Typhoon. Despite being the closest in age out of any of the siblings, they are so drastically different from one another that it's almost painful to be around the other. But you can be sure he's at every one of her performances, and that she sends him wine for some of his gatherings. Still, Tsunami is seen as an outsider within her own pack, but she is too terrified to be anywhere else, even though she's scared of her own pack more often than not. But she has found her niche, it's simply a matter of whether people have found it with her or not.

Other: Tsunami is autistic and has depression, but also has severe anxiety and OCD, as well as CPTSD and selective mutism
She doesn't like physical contact, except for the rare cases in which she does - but she always has to be asked before being touched or she freaks out
She gets very lonely, but doesn't know how to express it properly, and she feels uncomfortable asking for support/doesn't know how to
People have described her as "high maintenance" and every time she hears it, it breaks her heart
Her parents didn't even know she lived with Alberta until she was 15, so three years after she moved in
Alberta passed away when she was 24, so only about a year ago
She has never been drunk or high and never will be
She wears her headphones whenever she leaves her room; she always has fidgets on her, gifted by Tecta each year for her birthday for the past four years
She cannot make eye contact for the life of her and often won't - she looks at lips or chins or not even at the person, but down at the ground or the wall or somewhere else
She's like a deer - always ready to bolt the second things become too much
She forgets to eat a lot - she forgets to do a lot of stuff
She looks a little younger than she is
She has only shifted into her wolf a handful of times, but not since she was a teenager; her wolf is dormant inside her, as if in hibernation, and has not communicated with her in nearly a decade - she cannot even change her eyes, or summon claws or canines, and as each year passes she becomes more and more human, losing her heightened abilities that being a werewolf has given her
She was SA'd when she was 15, which only made her dislike of physical touch turn into revulsion; this incident is what made her parents realize she didn't live with them anymore and also prompted them to try to be better parents, but they hardly succeeded; it's also what made her wolf dormant
Like Wild, she hasn't spoken to her parents in years, but they attend her performances every so often
She was named Tsunami so that her name paired well with Typhoon's
She has an incredibly close friendship with Chrys Stemms (created by Saytrn03); Nami never struggles around Chrys, who understands her in ways that Tecta, no matter how hard he tries, simply cannot - she loves Chrys very much (platonically never romantically) but has never verbally said 'I love you' to him, but rather shows it over saying it, because it's a love not quantifiable by words
