Personality: Goliath is a gruff guy at first meetings - he can be intimidating by his size, his tattoos, and his resting face. He also has a reputation of violence. But he's very conscious of his height and strength in his day-to-day life and he does his best not to overexert himself and hurt someone. He's not really a gentle giant - he earned his name of Goliath not just due to his height - but he isn't abusively violent. He's more on the quiet side, as he doesn't always have a whole bunch to say, but he will join in on conversation that he finds interesting or has a desire to take part in. He is hard to make laugh, but when he does it's a deep belly laugh that seems to shake the very foundation of Sanctum. Still, he's not a super emotional guy - his expression are fairly neutral, unless he doesn't like something, or likes something enough that even a small smile appears. He's more expressive around trusted, but even then he's known for his stoicism. He's a great listener and soldier - he likes to fight, he likes the feeling of bones cracking, skulls smashing, and bodies tearing open under his claws and teeth. He likes the pain of others, and he likes being the cause of it. That said, he does't just run rampant hurting people. He is deeply controlled, only unleashing himself when he is given permission - either verbal permission from someone who is higher up than him, or permission from someone attacking him first. He'd kill if Sanctum didn't have a no kill rule - Goliath would thrive in the Nightwalkers, save for their lack of open and ready pleasure. Goliath can often be found in the club when he's not on duty, handsy and gruff - it's his charm and people seem to love it. Goliath is very handsy, even with friends - though with friends it's obviously less sexual, and more so akin to a clap on the back, grabbing of shoulders, arm around their shoulders, etc. With partners or potential partners, it's a slightly different story. Goliath also likes to get a beer with his friends after a shift, or get together and smoke. Beyond that, though, he isn't a super big drinker or drug user - he pretty much never uses anything stronger than weed unless it is a special occasion. Still, where Goliath is quite intimidating and not the most expressive and people give him a wide berth, some risk it and approach him, and what they'll find is a darkly charming individual who is quite the mystery.

Backstory: Goliath came from a single mother who was just trying to escape Mexico. A lycan, she was running from persecution, for the people in her small town learned she was inhuman - bruja, la loba, they called her, 'witch, the wolf.' When they made a call to go after her baby boy, she fled. She'd had a mate, you see, but he'd been killed - it's how she was discovered, for she went after the man who killed her husband in a blind rage, and someone caught her as she transformed back into human. But the DNA on the body was wolf - or something akin to it - and they couldn't press charges legally, so the town decided to take matters into their own hands. She managed to flee, having been put into the care of someone connected to Sanctum. Smuggled away in the dead of night, they were almost safe. Just before they crossed the border, they were caught up to, and she was hit with a wolfsbane bullet. She had until the poison worked into her heart before she died. They just barely made it to Sanctum, when she gave up her son to Haven - to "protect him, raise him, and train him." She died only a couple days later. Goliath was just under a year when all this went down, and he still wears his mother's necklace to this day, and keeps her locket - a photo of him as a baby, and another of her and her mate, his father - tucked away in his safe. He was raised by Haven, and it was apparent as a young boy that he was always going to be big and strong, and violent. When he was younger, his impulses were harder to control - it took years of training and mental exercises to keep his bloodlust under control. But the thing was, he never went after people he considered to be friends and family - he never lost control with them, never ever. He earned the name Goliath when he was 12 and already 5'6 - towering half a foot or so over those his own age. He only get growing and getting bigger from there, until he capped out at 6'8 and is now currently 260 pounds. He was clearly placed as a guard within Sanctum, and due to his proclivity - and practical need - of violence, he has always been placed in higher risk areas or on higher risk jobs. When he gets bored he gets grouchy and angry, and he gets on edge in a bad way. On jobs where more excitement is likely to occur, he's calmer and more at ease, more tuned in to everything happening around him. Now 26, he does have a suite with three other members of Haven - one couple, one other single individual, so that their once suite of four singles now has an empty room. Still, he hopes to get a place of his own soon despite how much he really does love his suitemates, so that maybe he can think about settling down - maybe. Or perhaps so he can bring people back to his room without someone commenting on it, or his choice of partner, in the morning. Still, Goliath is just living life and having a grand time.

Other: He does speak Spanish, and he is often heard speaking in Spanglish - he was raised by another Haven wolf who'd crossed the border from Mexico, a man named Alejandro, who also often speaks in Spanglish
It can be very hard to control his violent urges, so he spars and works out a lot to let loose some steam - it takes a very brave, or perhaps stupid, kind of person to spar with him and he just wants a regular sparring partner so he can have a more consistent schedule
